Longer chapter, I've been working on this for awhile, since I had to restart about five million times. I finally found my inspiration. I hope you enjoy this chapter, almost 1k reads!

Wanda had fallen in Bucky's trap, she had swore to not love another man. But his eyes were so very captivating, like grey clouds surrounding the dull sky. They just seemed to capture you in the right moments. It was not so called 'love at first sight', but it took many talks and well spent nights to finally notice Wanda was slowly, but surely falling for the man with a metal arm. She was afraid at the so felt emotions of lust and love, but she soon let him take her off of her feet and allowed him to lead the way she thought was forever.

Although, this did not apply to Bucky. He was confused with the concept of love, how was he supposed to feel when the feeling passed? Bucky tried so very hard to feel the true love that Wanda held for him, he could sense her lustful eyes that hid behind wild eyelashes that added an extra glow to her eyes and other features. She was highly beautiful, and that he couldn't doubt.

For how hard Bucky attempted to fall in love with her, he just couldn't. The day he asked Wanda to be his own girlfriend, was when he noticed he couldn't love her back. It wasn't that he didn't want to, he just couldn't, she was beautiful, but Bucky couldn't feel love. Bucky wanted to tell her, but he knew how much it would break her, seeing as she shared so much with him, showed so much for him, that if he told her with no crack of emotion that she would exit the team and stop fighting for what's right. Bucky's metal fingers ran along his flesh arm, feeling the coldness of the metal arm radiate along his skin. He was so lost to the point he had no idea how to face his own girlfriend, was he just too scared to hurt her feelings and make her hate him for an eternity?

The bitter liquid met his lips before he allowed it to enter through his mouth, feeling the burning sensation slither down his throat, barely making an expression to react to the bitterness. A woman approached Bucky's body full of sorrow and worry, he had asked Wanda to meet with him at a certain bar for an urgent announcement. This woman had long blond hair that usually fell in front of her face if not groomed back, she had bright green eyes with small thin lips.

"Drinking your sorrows away won't work, trust me I've tried it before." She spoke, but Bucky only focused forward.

"At least it'll stop my sorrows for awhile." He answered nonchalantly.

"Beer please," She hollered, the bartender came to her in an instant and placed the beer at her hands, the woman fished for a twenty dollar note and eventually coming upon one "keep the change."

"You do know the beer here is only five bucks?" Bucky informed from beside her.

"Well then the rest of the money can go to charity," Bucky raised his eyebrows in disbelief at what she came up with "or more alcohol."

They shared quiet snickers, Bucky not noticing the nonexistent space between them both. She wanted Bucky to be her's, the woman had no current knowledge of what his life holds and who he is himself. The woman didn't care and just needed a man to fill her needs and expectations, she wasn't very keen on being observant on his past life, although a specific feeling told her to go forth with the questions as if she wanted to learn more about him, did she really want to?
Bucky's thoughts on Wanda slipped easily from his mind as he talked more in depth with the woman, who he now discovered as Olivia. She has a beautiful smile, so very similar to Wanda's. Olivia had features close to be identified as Wanda, despite the small and thin lips Olivia contains. Wanda's lips were plump and the colour of them always seemed as if she were wearing a very faint red lipstick, she looked absolutely stunning with minimum makeup for her looks are quite natural. Bucky was oblivious to the answers of his questions, he was unsure to why he was thinking such of Wanda, his love was now classified as pretend, but why does it still faze him?

-

"You look nice, where are you heading off to?" Steve asked, as he entered Wanda's room to observe the doings of his team member.

Wanda carefully looked over her outfit in the mirror, attempting to admire her figure in her own reflection. She wore tight black jeans that were reasonably high waisted, black heeled boots that were wrapped around her feet as they gave her much more height, and a deep red cropped shirt that symbolised her bestowed power and unlimited source of abilities. Wanda's hair was tied back with a black ribbon, as small strands were released without force. Her makeup was kept to a minimum, seeing as she didn't really own much makeup, Wanda didn't see a use for it if she were just to continue to fight battles.

"The bar that's a couple blocks down, Bucky wanted to announce something." Wanda rushed to find for her belongings, that were her main common essentials.

"What does he need to announce?"

"Something big, I hope." Wanda sighed deeply, then smiling widely as she found her purse buried underneath the clothes laid mindlessly on her untidy bed.

"Have fun, don't stay out too long, because I was hoping you'd want to join me in a workout tomorrow morning." Steve stated, leaning against the doorframe as he slowly yet surely back away from her room until he was gone to another destination much more important. Wanda didn't take down his offer of joining him in physical activities, since he had left without a notice.

She scanned for her jet black leather jacket to keep her warm from the cool weather, Wanda then came to a halt to see her jacket peaking from underneath a set of different designed dresses. She quickly pulled at it until it had completely arisen from the under the many layers of clothes. Wanda slid her arms through the sleeves of the jacket, instantly feeling the warmth of the inside as it was covered in quite thin fur. She groaned in panic to see her room looking as if someone committed a crime, attempting to hide the deceased body and scene with numerous selection of clothes. Her eyes rolled as Wanda's hand outstretched to use her abilities upon the clothes, ordering them to fix itself by the power of telekinesis. Wanda smiled as she then over looked the entire premises of her room, sighing in relief as she left her room, purse clutched and jacket safely secured around her torso.

"Tony, I'm going out." Wanda bellowed, hearing the familiar clicking of her heels against the flooring. She watched as Tony rose his head from his current project, dark circles hanging below his eyes.

"Be safe." He acted as if he were her dad, since he was quite like a fatherly figure to her after many friendly chats and shared words were said between each other.

"You mind if I borrow your car?" She asked with slight embarrassment that she had asked such a thing.

"Which one?" Tony asked with a heavy smirk playing on his lips, showing his overly cocky side.

"The ones you have the keys to right now." Wanda shrugged as she didn't know what to respond with, she wasn't a big fanatic about cars and which ones were which.

Tony dug deep into his pockets to hear the jiggle of keys in his hand, pulling them out from his pocket to throw. Wanda was near to drop them due to her undying trait of clumsiness.

"Thank you." Wanda hurried to the immense garage that was filled with many different vehicles, mostly owned by Tony. Steve's motorbike was seen in the midst of the other bikes, the colours of his suit printed as a logo to signify his ownership of the bike.

Wanda examined the car keys that would allow access to any of these insanely expensive cars, she was excited to see which car was to be picked. Her fingers gently pressed against the button to activate the car and unlock it, she discovered the car that she was going to use by seeing the headlights appear brightly. Wanda admired the car as she approached it, a black metallic mechanism as the tires were traced with a deep red. She gasped in astonishment, taking in the beauty of the car. She then scoffed to know that she will be arriving at the bar with an expensive car that she had not bought herself, which in fact belonged to her team member. A hand gripped the smooth door handle to open it, the inside had black leather seats and a red traced steering wheel, the steering wheel was very much similar to car tires.

Wanda smiled deeply as she locked the doors, inserting the key into its rightful place as the engine began to roar. Outside was dark, which had meant the automatic car continued to keep the headlights on. She drove with much excitement, as the newly discovered environment of this car was met by her presence. Her mood could not have been ruined, but she was eager to know whether Bucky was to share something terrifying or amazing, although she didn't have that tamper with her current mood.

She remembered the memories Bucky and her cherished at the bar she was arriving to, replaying the laughs and serious talks they encountered with each other. Wanda smiled at the thought as she seemed to close in on the bar that was fairly large, blocked with guards to keep it secure from any underage drinkers. She wandered for an available parking space on the side of the street, finally she came upon a space that was reasonably close to the bar. With the final check of the car to finalise if it were locked, Wanda left to meet her lover, the man she loved so very dearly.

Her feet collided with the cement pathway, viewing the many different stores as she shoved her hands in the pockets of her jeans as her purse was clutched between her underarm, shivering in the cold as the leather jacket had not kept her warm for the remainder of time she had gotten to the warm and crowded bar. Wanda walked many wide halls to locate herself to the private bar that she knew Bucky reserved for the both of them, she had wondered what he had to share with her this time, thinking of the previous chats they conversed about she was almost certain he wanted to do the same.

Her smile that was slightly visible then faltered, Wanda was only a step away to have her whole body enter through the section of the bar. That up until she saw Bucky holding a conversation with another woman, his eyes trailing along her beautiful features and curves. Wanda looked once again to see if it was just her mind playing irrelevant tricks on her, but with how many times she blinked nothing seemed to stop the hurting feeling or the way he stared at the woman with overflowing lust.

"Who's this other woman you're going to meet?" The blond queried, the blood flowing through Wanda's veins were boiling.

"She's my girlfriend, well I think so." Wanda furrowed her eyebrows, what had Bucky meant when he said that?

"Tell me your problems, honey." She was quite annoyed at the woman conversing with Bucky, she had no relevance in her and Bucky's relationship, if Bucky had troubles and struggles with their relationship then he would confront Wanda instantly.

That was when Wanda realised, Bucky was not going to just share any silly old story with herself, he was going to talk to her about their relationship. Bucky obviously felt uncomfortable about their relationship, but Wanda was oblivious to it, continuing to hold the everlasting love for him.

"I don't love her, as much as she loves me. It's not that I don't want to, it's just I can't feel love. I can't rack up the courage to confront her, but she needs to know I never loved her from the start." Bucky's words were true to the heart, and Wanda could now see it, she could see right through his lies of love. Wanda pursed her lips, struggling to hold back the tears as she pressed her back against the hallway wall.

"Is she nice?" Wanda scoffed sadly, she thought the question was quite ridiculous to be asked.

"Of course she is, her personality is amazing, something that I do not deserve. She is really beautiful, but the only thing I feel whenever I look in her eyes is pity and sympathy, my girlfriend is a strong woman, she is truly a survivor. I just don't know how to tell her that I can't love her as much as she does for me, she will end up hating me for an eternity."

"Why is it that you feel pity and sympathy for her?"

"Well," Bucky sighed "her family is dead, she has no one, Wanda feels as if I'm saving her, but I know I'm not. I can't love her."

Wanda released a single tear, which then followed after many more. Her hand clutched her chest tightly, Wanda's knees weakened as she moved her other hand to cover her mouth. She was experiencing such devastation, it was as if she was facing another loss.

"Cheers to sucky love." The woman chanted.

"Yeah, cheers to sucky love." Bucky dragged as they consumed of the burning alcohol, unknown of Wanda eavesdropping accidentally.

Wanda left the bar with a rush, pushing the bar doors with weak arms as she ignored the people who were viewing from afar, wondering why she was shedding tears. As if it wasn't obvious yet that it was a heartache of having a broken heart. Her legs quickly, but weakly jogged to the car she had borrowed from Tony, unlocking the car to allow access for herself. Once she was alone from any locals staring unexpectedly at her, she broke into many more tears than beforehand. They slid carelessly down her face as she rested her spinning head on the top of the steering wheel, her hands roamed her hair as they tugged against the roots of them. She didn't care if her screams were loud and ear piercing, Wanda felt as if all the surfaces of the Earth were dramatically crashing on top of her fragile body.

She was now shaking, her glossy eyes examining them as she begged them to stop. The back of her hand shakily wiped the tears away from both her eyes, sniffing heavily many times as to clean her nose of any residue. Wanda knew that her sadness was not yet to be over, she could feel the wave of tears rile within herself, feeling the need to cry much more than she just had. Although, Wanda wanted to wait until she had safely arrived back at the Avengers building. Wanting to prevent any more accidents to occur.

As she gripped the steering wheel tightly, her mind ran through thoughts of what Bucky shared with the woman. She didn't know what she did to make Bucky say such things, she was disappointed in herself rather than Bucky. She was just not enough.

Wanda thought she was fighting for true love, but she didn't know she was actually fighting for pretend love.
