(Harry's P.O.V.)
I had been studying all night for my stupid science exam the next day. I hated science. I don't remember falling asleep but when I woke up I found my text book still laying on my bed beside me. When I sat up I felt a dull ache in my head and an uneasy feeling in my stomach. I ignored it thinking it was probably just nerves on top of the fact that I hadn't slept well that night. I got out of bed and started to get ready for school. I got dressed and grabbed all my things before heading downstairs for breakfast. My mom was cooking in the kitchen and the smell was making me feel even more sick to my stomach. I decided I better skip breakfast if I wanted to make it through the day. My mom had turned around to look at me and smiled.
"Morning honey, how many pancakes do you want?" She asked kindly.
"I think I'm going pass thing morning Mom," I told her. She instantly got a worried look in her eye.
"What's wrong Harry? You never pass on pancakes."
"I'm really nervous about my test today. My stomach doesn't feel very good. Don't want to push it," I explained.
"You going to be ok to go to school?" she asked.
"Yeah, I mean, I think so. I just need to get through this test."
"Ok honey. Get your stuff together and I'll drive you." I nodded and grabbed my backpack and got in my Mom's car. I sat in silence the whole ride there. My headache had intensified greatly since I woke up and my stomach was doing cartwheels. When she pulled up to the school I got out and slowly walked inside. I found my friends sitting at a table in the cafeteria waiting for the bell to ring. I went over and sat down with them. Niall looked up at me and smiled.
"Morning Hazza," he said cheerfully.
"Hey," I replied a little too quietly. That of course got the attention of all the boys.
"You alright Haz?" Louis asked. I shook my head.
"What's going on?" Liam questioned.
"I'm really nervous about that test today. I'm not feeling too good," I told them. Liam put his hand on my back and I let my head sink down into my hands.
"Maybe you should've stayed home Haz," Niall said softly.
"I have to take this test," I mumbled.
"Harry you can test the test another time," Louis encouraged. I shook my head. Just then the bell rang and I looked up at my friends. They were all looking at me with worry in their eyes.
"I'll be fine guys," I tried to fake a smile. I knew I didn't fool anyone but they let it go. We all stood up and made our way to class. I had two classes to get through before my test. Lucky for me I had both Niall and Louis in my science class. When I got to my science class I had already run to the bathroom twice thinking I was going to be sick. I had managed to keep my stomach in check for a while. When I walked in I sat down at my table with Niall and Louis. They both looked up at me when I sat down.
"Haz, you look awful," Niall said softly. I nodded.
"Are you going to be ok?" Louis asked. I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't even have the strength to talk anymore. Our teacher came in shortly after that and handed out our test.
"You all have the whole class period to finish the test. No talking during this time. If I see you looking at each other's papers, I will throw your test away and you will fail. Good luck guys." I looked down at my test and my vision blurred. I blinked a few times and started to fill out my test. I could feel my stomach flip around and I gently placed my free hand on my stomach. I pushed through the whole test without tossing my stomach and I stood up slowly to turn it in. When I handed my test to my teacher I felt my stomach try to seize up. I knew I needed to get out of there quickly.
"May I please go to the restroom?" I asked a calmly as I could.
"Sure thing Harry," she smiled and took my test. I walked quickly out of the room and I could feel Louis and Niall's eyes on me as I did. I bolted to the bathroom gagging in my hand a few times before I got there. I burst through the door and dropped to my knees just before my first painful retch. My stomach ached with every heave. I coughed and gagged for what seemed like an eternity. When it finally stopped I still didn't feel well enough to stand up. I flushed away my dinner and stayed sitting on the floor. A few minutes after that I heard the door open.
"Harry you in here?" I heard a familiar voice call. It was Louis.
"I'm in here," I replied. I started to feel my stomach turn again and my mouth started to water. Louis opened the stall door finding me on the floor.
"Hazza," he sighed sadly. I knelt down next to me and put his hand on my back.
"I don't feel good Louis," I whimpered.
"I know buddy, it's alright. I'm here now just relax." I turned my head over the bowl and started to gag again. "Aww Haz, I need to get you home." He rubbed circles on my back trying to keep me calm.
"Lou," I started to say before gagging hard again.
"Shh, Haz don't talk." I gagged one last time before throwing up again. Louis kept rubbing my back as I heaved up what was left in my stomach. I heard the bathroom door open again.
"Louis?" I voice called. It was Niall this time.
"We're in here Ni," Louis replied. Niall found us in the cramped stall as I continued to retch over the water.
"Aww Hazzy, you poor thing. I'm going to go to the office and see if you can go home." I couldn't respond I just nodded. Niall rushed out of the bathroom leaving Louis and I in there. I threw up until there was nothing left in my stomach. Louis flushed the toilet for me and pushed my hair away from my eyes.
"You alright Hazza?" He asked softly. I nodded. "How bout I take you home yeah?" I nodded again. He helped me stand and started to lead me out of the bathroom. Niall and Liam now had come back with all my things and told me Louis could take me home, since he was the only one that could drive. Louis led me to his car and got me in placing an empty plastic bag in my hands just in case. I drove me all the way home and got me inside and on the couch.
"Thank you Louis," I said quietly as he covered me in a blanket.
"Just glad you're ok Hazza. How bout me and the lads come check on you after school?"
"I'd like that." I felt my eyes getting heavy.
"We will then. Get some sleep Haz, you need it." With that Louis left and went back to school.
I slept until the boys had come over after school. I brought me my homework I had missed and some soup and crackers. We all sat around in my living room watching movies until my mom got home from work. I was out of school for a few days but the boys came over every day until I was feeling better.
Sorry it's been a while guys. Finally got the urge to write you guys something. Hope you enjoyed it. Still not wanting to take requests for a while. I'll let you know when I'm ready for them again.
