"Do I have to?" I whine
"Yes you do so go." Sage says pointing towards the bathroom door. I groan and walk to the bathroom to get dressed.
I am currently getting dressed so that I can go on the date with Ace tonight. Here let me explain.
So this morning at Alex, Sage, and Nadia were acting weird and stuff. They basically dragged me to breakfast. When we got back Kal and Keith where standing out side my house smirking like they did the most incredible thing in the world. I was wondering what they were doing, but soon found out when I got in to the house. When I walked in there was a a bunch of flowers everywhere and a huge banner that said,
"Will you make me the happiest Alpha in the world and go out with me"
Ace had walked out with the biggest smile on his face, and so much hope in his eyes. I was debating in my head to go or not but then I ended up saying yes. The girls squealed and push me to the stairs saying I had to get ready after me and Ace were done talking.
I have finally gotten dressed and things look good. Sage is making me wear one of my favorite dresses. Ace said that he was taking me to a fancy dinner then some where fun after that and it was a surprise. I had a black velvet it has a 'x' in the black and its see through on the sides. I easily paired it with some black and gold makeup. I put a mix of red and gold lipstick.
"You look beautiful!" Alex steps back as she finish curling my hair.
It was almost time for my date, and I am not going to lie I am a little nervous. It felt like my heart was going to beat out of my chest. It is terrifying to go on the date. My palms stared to sweat and I got up and started pacing.
"What's wrong Honey bear?" Alex asks
"What if I mess up? What if I make a fool out of myself? What if he rejects me again? What if we-" I was cut by sage freezing me in my spot. I couldn't move.
"You are worried about nothing. If you mess you will looking hella hot when you do it. If you make a fool out of yourself he we still love you. He will not reject you again he loves you and I can see it in his eyes everytime he looks at you." She say trying to calm be down. I nod and start taking deep breaths to calm my nerves
"Guys, Ace is here," Nadia yells from down stairs. We told her to tell us when he got here.
I go to walk, but Alex stopped me and pointed to my feet. I was not wearing my any shoes I blushed. She pasted my a pair of black and gold wedges and a hat. I put on the shoes and hat grabbed my purse and walk down stairs. Ace has a his back to me, but when he turns around I'm sure his mouth hits the ground. I smile at him.
"You look beautiful," He whispers to me as he pulls me into a hug.
I hug him back and blush. Shit I'm blushing again because of him. I force the blush away before he could see it. We pulled away and he grabbed my hand. I wave to the girls and the give me thumbs up. I stick my tongue out at them.
Once we get to Ace's car we headed out. The song I'm Out by Ciara and Nicki Minaj came on and I thought it would be a good idea to sing and rap the song. Once the song was over I could see in the corner of my eyes Ace had a amused look on his face. I was about to say something, but then Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez came on and I had to sing it. I turned the radio off a turned towards them.
"Let's play a game." I says to Ace he looks at me then back at the road. He was smiling.
"What game," he raised an eyebrow at me.
"20 questions." I say in a 'duh' tone.
"Fine. You start."
"Okay. Um... What's are you two favorite color."
"Green and red. Yours?"
"Purple and Blue. Okay you turn?!"
"What's your favorite food,"
"Is everything count," he nodded "Good. Now what about you,"
"Bacon white chedder cheese burger." I nod.
After about 5 more question we pulled up in front of a beautiful restaurant. This place was amazing. I was about to get out, but Ace had got out and walked to my door to open. He offered me a hand I took it with out seconded thought. Once we walk into the restaurant the man standing in front expression bright once he saw Ace
"Hey Ace." He greets
"Hey Drew." Ace and Drew fist pump I roll my eyes. Ace is still his childish self.
"So you have a date or is this work." He pauses "never mind has to be work you never bring a date here. Let alone a girl." They both start laughing. Drew grabs menu's and starts walking. Ace grabs my hand and we follow Drew.
"This is not business. She is my mate and I want to take her for a date."
"I thought your mate left you two years ago."
"Yeah, she did but she came back a little while ago." While they were talking I was half spaced out. Alex had keep sending me stupid images to make me laugh.
"Adrianna this is Drew. Drew this is Adrianna." Ace's voice snaps me back to reality. I smile and say hello. Drew's eyes change once we make eye contact and his wolf takes over.
"Ripper its nice to see you got away." I gasp at what he says that.
"Beta Drew of the Crescent Moon pack nice to see you again. Yes I got away fine. And you thought I was going to get killed. You and your alpha." I smirk at him. He smirks back and sits us at our seats. Ace pulls out my seat for me and I laugh at how he is being chessy again.
"So how do you too know each other." Ace asked after Drew walked away. There was a hint of jealousy in his eyes.
"Oh.. Darlin' don't worry. Me and my friends had to move through a small piece of territory and let's just say he almost hurt one of my friends and he ended up with a few broken ribs, broken jaw, and a black eye." I explain. He nods with a triumphant smirk.
"What are you smirking at mister?" I question
"Nothing. My mate is just a awesome badass and I am loving it." His comment makes me blush again. Why the fuck does he keep making me blush.
The restaurant was an Italian so we both got pasta. We order and played 20 questions till our food got there.
"What is like to be one of the most feared rogues? What does it feel like being a rogue? Did you like being a rogue?" He shots off questions at me.
"1) I was only feared if you crossed me and got on my bad side. I was nice to anyone who I knew was not a threat to me. But you still had to earn my trust. 2) being a rogue has its ups and downs. Down you can feel lonely and unwanted at times. Up's you get to see the world in a new way. There are two different types of rogues: ones that let power go to there head and kill with no reason, but power. And ones that are misunderstood the ones that only kill of a reason. 3) yes and no. Having to fend and fight for my life was a hard. But I ment people that I can happyly say are my seconded family." I finished answering his questions Ace looked happy and proud. "Any more questions?" I ask
"Who is apart if the rogue family?" He asks
"Alex, Tatiana, Nadia, Sage, Kal, Cole, Jordan, Carly, Chloe, and me. Cole is Kal's twin brother and his Jordan's mate. And they are a gay couple and we love them both. Chloe and Carly are twins as well." I explain.
"Who is what in the family." He ask bring up what I told him when Kal and Sage came to the pack.
"I am Alpha because I am the strongest and the best leader even though I am one of the youngest. Alex is beta because she has always been my parner and she is the smart when I comes to stuff like that. Sage is 3rd in command because she has is a problem solver. Cole and Jordan are the pack warrior's. Cole is strangth and Jordan is speed. Carly and Chloe are the brains of the pack. Carly is the doctor and Chloe is the only that good with hacking and computers. Now even though I was one of the youngest and I wanted Tatiana to be Alpha she declined and just wanted to me our mother. She was the one that we went to when we needed advice. She was the heart of the pack. When people thought I was she was the reason I stayed so strong. We are a pack." I explain
We talk and I tell him stories about how we pranked each other an all of the fun memory's. Once we where done eat. Ace payed, I was going to pay half but he insisted that he payed. So I just left a tip instead. He grabbed my hand and leads me to the car. He still hasn't told me where the second surprise is. We keep playing 20 questions.
When we finished we were going to be there soon so I turned up the radio and start singing/rapping. Yeah I can do both I rock just like that. I closed my eyes as I sing drifting off into my own little world of music. I hadn't even notice that Ace had parked. He whispered to me to keep my eyes closed. I obeyed his demand, I keep my eyes close. He got out of the car, walked to my side, opened my door and grabbed my hand. He helped my out if the car and held one of my hands and put his other hand on the small of my back.
"1....2....3... Open your eyes," He whispered in my ear. I open my eyes to see that we were looking at an amazing amusement park. I have always absolutely loved amusement parks since for like forever. I whisper a little 'wow'
"So.. You like it?" He ask. I turn around so that I am facing him. I put my hands on his chest.
"Yes. I like it. No. I love it," I smile up at him. He returns my smile. I grab his hand a drags him toward the rides and games.
We where there for like 2 hours just playing games and another hour of me eat food, mostly candy. He won me a huge bear, after all the candy that he had to carry me and the near to the car. He put the bear in the back, me in the front and buckled me up. He made sure that I was secured before going to the other side and getting in the car.
"Hey did you know that the capital of New York is Timbuktu? Did you know that bunnies like carrots? You know if we ever get married it should be in the middle of the ocean. Did you know I can talk to animals mostly wolves?" I giggled to him. I soon fell into darkness.
When I woke up I was in Ace's arms. Well one arm around my waist the other had the bear in his arm. I started sing Old MacDonald. Ace knocked on the door. The door swings open and Alex and Sage stood there looking kind of confused.
"Ally and Sagey yeah yeah yeah." I say like a 5 year old running and hugging them. I see Keith and Kal. "Key and Kally yeah," I run towards them and hug them.
"What happened to her," Keith ask while patting my back. Alex, Sage, and Kal looked at ace with a knowing look.
"Candy," the three of them say in unison. Ace laughs and nods.
"I know we forgot to tell you something. Rule #1 when taking Adrianna out: Never and I mean ever give her candy," Sage says while laughing.
"Hey I want to know something. Alex do you still have the 5th rule," I give her the puppy dog eyes. She looks at me with a bewildered look on her face.
"Yes I do. You are not getting it at all," she exclaims
"Pwease," I pout as best I could.
"No!!" Her and Sage exclaim.
"You guys are meanies," I cross my arms over my chest acting like a 5 year old.
"What's rule 5?" Keith and Ace ask
"Its Alex secret stash of candy that now one is allowed to touch. If you do you will be tortured," Kal explains. Shivering at the thought at what Alex did to him when he took some of her candy.
While they were talking flashes of memories clouded my eyes. Bad memories. I snapped out of my little trance when I heard Ace calling me.
"Hey I'm going to go home Adrianna I had a fun time. I'll see you tomorrow okay." His smiles
"Okie dokie. Nighty-night" I say as he passes me my giant bear.
I skip away to the living room and jump on the couch. I heard a little more talking, foot steps, and then the door opening and closing. I end up falling asleep on the couch. I had a very good time with Ace tonight. I hope that we do it again some time soon. I fell asleep with a huge smile on my face.
