Jace's pov
I heard ring in the middle of the night I grabed my phone before it woke up makenzie I didn't know who it was so I pressed ignored until it started to ring again this time i picked it up
"hello who is th-"
"Jace Summer is missing''
"Damon?"
"Jace Summer is missing I can't find her I went looking and O god I-"
"Damon calm down when did you last see her"
"we got into a arguement after that thing with kenzie and she just storm and after a few hour after I went looking and now I can't find her"
"Damon look just calm down"
"no stop telling me to calm down cause you know damn well if it was Makenzie you have had a search party trying to find her so please I'm begging you please help me"
I couldn't say no because I know just how he feels right now" alright where are you "
"outside"
"alright I'll get some guys meet me in the front of the house"
he hung up in a hurry I got up and put a some pants washed my face to wake my self up and brused my teeth
I went back in the room and wrote a note for makenzie I left it were I was laying and I kissed her on her forehead she smiled in her sleep
I woke up some pack memebers to go look for her we all went out side to see Damon who had looked like hell

Makenzie's pov
waking up the next morning was not what I thought when I didn't see Jace but instead a note
dear kenzie
sorry wish I could have stayed but Damon called me in the middle of the night Summer ran away so we went look for her be back in time for our date don't worry :)
I smiled I got up and made up the bed and went back to my room and started my day
when I went down stairs to see maci freaking out
"what wrong?"
"they've been gone for hours"
"when did they leave"
"they've been gone since 2"
"well um um how about we leave you know have girls day"
she took a deep sigh and thought about it
"ok plus we have to find you a dress cute short and sexy Jace's order"
"A DRESS"i started to laugh but they didn't seem to be laughing
"you guys are serious aren't you"
"yup you don't have a dress"
"long one's not short"
"well lets fix that"
the pretty much kiddanapped me but I didn't really care we went to victoria secret first
"um guys I thought we came here for dresses not underwear"
"well you have to have the right underwear for a dress hhmm lets go with black maybe with her tan skin tone it would look great"maci said looking through a few

"you know what lets just get every color"oh great I can see how my day is turning out
after we left the store we headed to the dress store I tried on so may dresses until we found the perfect one it was short and strapless i looked amazing
"that is so perfect Makenzie please get it"I smiled at myself in the mirrior
they were right so I got it and A pair of shoes and a bag to go with it we left the mall and made home at perfect time 3:23
when we got there the guys were back Maci ran to Jackson
when I saw Jace i didn't know how much I was really worried until my arm were around his neck and hugging him his arms wrapped around me
"did you find her Jace?"
"nope no sign she's smart"
"we lost the trail"derrek jumped in
"how?"I couldn't help but ask
"we just did it was everwhere we couldn't pin point it"
"bull she probley just ran around the house in big circle then climb a tree and went from there"
everyone looked at me weird
"that would make sence we looked for her on low ground not high how did you know that"
"when you run away you have to know some trick if your going to be out there for 3 weeks with no one around to help you"
damon stepped forward
"do you think you can find her if you use those sences and smarts"
"well yea summer is smart but she's never been by herself she doesn't know how to survive out there that good"
jace looked at me "lead the way"
I'm going to help them find Summer the girl who is nothing but pure evil I must have lost my mind
