I woke up exactly at 7 am, getting ready for work. I did my morning rituals, stretching and taking a bath. I used my brown top and the black pencil skirt.
I ate bread for breakfast and grabbed my handbag before locking my apartment. I headed down while finishing my bread, bumping to a guy on the way.
"Sorry," i bowed to him, realizing my half eaten bread fell.
"Im so sorry, i'll buy you a new one" he picked up my bread.
"Its okay, dont mind it" i tried stopping him.
"Im buying, come on," he walked first.
I dont have a choice but to follow him to the nearest bread store. He picked two chocolate croissant and payed for it, handing one to me.
"Thank you, sir" i bowed.
"You dont have to thank me" he waved goodbye, hailing a taxi.
I bowed as he enter the taxi, thanking once more. Then i checked my watch, gosh im late!
I hailed a taxi for myself, not like my usual routine. I would use the bus to save money, but just this once i'd better sqve my live from getting late.
I payed the taxi fare and ran into the company building. I have to be on my table before the manager does. Thank god i was on time, just as i shove my bag on my table, the manager came.
Just as the manager walked away, an old friend, jungji, called me for a reunion on saturday. Im actually free on saturdays, but i missed so many dramas and i just want some sleep.
"Come on, ____ ah, its been like 10 years since we last met" she pleaded on the phone.
"Im just too tired, jungji ya, maybe next time" i replied.
"But, eunwoo is going abroad in a few weeks, and myungjun is going back to his hometown" jungji said.
"Fine, i'll try make some time" i gave in.
"You promised alright. 11 am at rosy cafe, i'll see you there" then she hung up.
I threw my phone on my desk, smacking my head on the hard table. I just managed to survive yet another morning in the office.

Saturday came faster than a rollercoaster ride, i barely woke up from sleep. After a whole week of working late, i can finally rest and rot in my room.
Then i remembered, the reuion is today. I rose from my bed to check for a decent clothes to wear. Gosh, my room is a mess and my clothes are too old.
I gave up quickly after, too lazy to buy anything new. Besides, i only have 2 hours before the meeting time. I took my blue blouse and black dress before heading to the bathroom.
30 minutes before 11, and im already set to go. I put on extra perfume today, as jungji told me to, in case some guy is interested. Which will not happen, with me looking like an old lady.
"Oh im sorry," i bumped to a person on my way to the cafe.
"Ah, its no big deal" his voice seems familiar.
"Im sorry," i looked up to see his face.
"Oh, youre that girl from before" he said before i could said the same, "we bumped again".
"Right," i agreed as it became awkward.
"Where are you heading, by the way?" He ask, to lighten the mood.
"Rosy cafe, i have a plan" i told him.
"Im going there too," he seemed excited.
"Lets go then," i offered.
He nodded, agreeing. He walked a few steps in front of me, so i can see his back view. He does seem familiar, like i have seen him so many times before.
"Oh my gosh, ____ ah, long time no see," jungjin shriek loudly, catching everyone's attention.
"Wait a sec, why are you two together?" Myungjun eyed us suspiciously.
"What are you--" i didnt finish my words, more like i couldnt.
"Youre ____? Ahh, thats why you look so familiar" the guy said.
"You dont even recognize him?" Jungjin asked.
"I dont know, but i think i know him" i admitted.
"Im chen," the guy, i mean chen, gave his hand.
I shook his hand hesitantly, "nice to meet you again, chen".
"They look cuter than ever, awwhh" myungjun cooed.
"Come on, we still have many things to catch on" a guy, who i reconize as eunwoo, told us to seat.
"____ ah, seat beside me," sunbi patted the seat beside her.
I sat on the seat, then realizing chen is sitting in front of me. I gulped, whg am i so nervous, now that i know its him?
"Cheers for the reunion" myungjun being loud, raised his glass.
"Cheers" we followed after him.
Though a bit unsure, i still drank the beer on my glass. The liquid poured down my throat, warmth filled my whole body. I put my drink back, stealing a glance at chen.
To my worst luck, he is staring back at me. The same eyes that looked at me 8 years ago, the same laugh i heard 8 years ago. Its still there, now in front of me.
"Chen, how's work?" Eunwoo asks.
"Well, its so-so. I work as a pilot, since last year, nothing much" he answered.
"Youre a pilot?! Awesome man!" Myunjun cheered.
"How about you, jungjin?" Eunwoo turned to the girl.
"My work is fine, im going to be a nurse by next week" she explained.
"I mean you and myungjun," eunwoo grinned, "all good?".
"Whats with you?!" Mungjun threw tissues on eunwoo's face, while jungjin turned red.
I just looked at them bickering, not really interested to join. I should have stayed at home watching dramas.
"I see that youre not interested," chen's voice woke me.
"Yeah? Sorry, i was thinking about something else" i told him.
Chen smiled, "something, like me?" He laughed at his own joke.
How i missed his eyesmile, how i missed his cute jokes. I found myself smiling, just seeing his happy face.
"Did i guess right? Youre turning red" he laughed more.
"N-no! Im just hot, b-because of the drink!" I carelessly drank the whole glass in one shot.
Chen looked at me, "you okay? You dont have to be that sensitive".
"Ohh, looks like the new couple is having fun on their own" sunbi teased.
"Lets play the truth game, starting from eunwoo" jungjin suggested.
"Why am i always the first?" Eunwoo protest.
"Lets start!!" Myungjun gave eunwoo no change.
"Uhm.. i confessed my love for so many times, but sunbi always decline me" eunwoo said.
"I liked eunwoo but i cant date him, or my dad will kill me" sunbi confessed.
"Awhh, thats sad" myungjun comments.
Everyone turned to me, who sat beside sunbi. I eyed them one by one, they must be up to something.
"Lets now play the dare game!!" Eunwoo grinned.
"Your turn, ___ ah" jungjin laughed evilly.
"This is getting unfair," i mumbled.
"The dare is," myungjun spoke, "seat beside chen and hug him for 1 minute!" He shouted happily.
"What kind of dare is that?!" I was flustered.
"Or, you can drink this, one shot" sunbi showed me a giant beer glass.
"You're too much," i shook my head.
I have no choice but to seat beside chen, giving him a hug. The other four cheered happily. And i can feel chen is also flustered.
I hid my face in his chest, feeling his warmth. Hearing his heart beating fast makes me smile, he must be nervous too.
"Its already pass one minute, ____ ah," jungjin called me.
"Oh, sorry" i let go of the hug and looked away.
Chen looked at us, "my turn?", the four nod.
"We dare you, to kiss ____" eunwoo dared him.
"Is your brain even straight? Huh?" Myungjun hit him.
I looked at them bickering, and turned to chen. He doesnt seem like he wants to kiss me, so maybe the drink wont hurt, right?
"I.." i started a bit too loud, taking everyone's attention.
"Whats wrong? Tell us" jungjin spoke.
"I.. will be chen's knight! So, stop biothering us!" I shouted, shocking them.
I didnt know what got into me, maybe i was a bit drunk. I took the giant glass of beer and started chugging it down. It didnt took me a minute to finish the whole glass, smiling as i finished.
"Is she okay?" I heard sunbi ask.
"She's gotten crazy, but that was cute" eunwoo answered, getting a hit from the girl.
The talks continue, and im half asleep. I feel dizzy, and i keep laughing like an idiot. Maybe this is what drunk feels like.
"We have something to tell you," jungjin said, and turned to myungjun.
"Me and jungjin started dating last month" myungjun confessed.
"What? You didnt even tell us?!" Sunbi shook jungjin.
"Sorry," jungjin apologize.
"We're planning to gr married, next fall" myungjun added.
"Oohhhh~ congratulations~" sunbi and eunwoo cheer for the two.
"Congrats guys," chen simply smiled, how cute.
"You should kiss!! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" Sunbi smiled.
Then jungjin and myungjun started kissing passionately, while eunwoo is busy taking pictures of them. Sunbi laughed at them, while sipping her drink.
"Are you asleep?" Chen asks, like a whisper.
"Hmm," i bobbed my head, my sight gets blurry.
"Do you want me to take you home?" He offer.
"Why thank you, mister charming" I smiled, leaning my head on his shoulders.
Chen lets me lean on him for some time, then told the four friends that he's taking me home early. They agreed and continued playing.
"Come on, lets go home, ____ ah" chen gave me a piggy back.
"Yaaayy~ im coming home with cutie chennie" i cheered, jumping on his back.
Chen laughed, "stay still, you're heavier than a pig" he joked.
"You're bad! Bad chennie!" I turned grumpy, hiding my face in his neck.
Chen didnt say a word after that, i can feel him walk for a long time. I think his smell made me feel weak, i get sleepy again.
"Where do you live, ____ ah" he ask, fixing me on his back.
"I dont want to go home" i mumbled.
"Come on, youre heavy" he said, panting.
I shook my head, sleeping on his back. Why does it feel comfortable? Have i gotten too drunk to think?
"Alright, baby, im bringing you to my house tonight" i heard chen's whisper.
Baby? I smiled at the way he said those words. No matter how many times i keep denying, i just cant stop falling for him. My cutie chennie.
