****Chapter 11: You Can't Be Serious****
ARI'S POV
"Hey Kenzie, can you come over" I said into the phone.
"Yea, I'll be right over" She said.
Within 10 minutes the doorbell rang.
"Hey Kenzie" I said opening the door.
"Hey Ari" She said coming in.
"Follow me" I said running up to my room.
By the time I was on the 4th floor, Kenzie was just finishing the 3rd flight. By the time she got up to the 4th floor she was out of breath.
"You know I hate where your room is located" She said trying to regain her breath.
"You get used to it" I said opening my door.
She went and plopped on the bed and asked "Whats up"
I walked over to Ronnie's room and peeked in to discover hes still asleep. Perfect. I closed my door, put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on my door and locked it.
"We need to at least get Max and Ronnie to be civil with each other, maybe not friends but so they can let go of this horrible grudge between them." I said.
"How? Ronnie refuses to see Max."
"Thank you Captin Obvious! I didn't know that" I said my voice dripping with sarcasm.
"Well excuse me, no need to whip out Sargent Sarcastic" She said.
"Whatever, I was thinking we could lock them in a room. Theres a room in this house that locks from the outside." I said mischeviously.
"OOOOOH THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!" She yelled which earned her a slap on the arm.
"SHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed at her.
"Ow, sorry" She said, rubbing where I slapped her.
"Cmon, let me show you it" I said opening my door.
We walked to the 2nd floor, end of the hallway.
Here it is" I said opening the door. "Whatever you do, do NOT close the door, you can't get out from the inside." I said propping the door open.
"Got it" She said, following me in.
"See, its a blank, empty, room with no windows." I said.
I walked out and closed the door with Kenzie still in there.
"ARI! WHAT THE FUCK!" She screamed banging on the window on the door.
"See, you can see me, I can see you. You can hear me, I can hear you" I said.
"oh, thats cool. NOW OPEN THE FUCKING DOOR!" She screamed and I did so.
"Ok, well, I'ma go so, see you tomorrow" She said starting to walk down the stairs.
"Alright, bye" I said opening the front door.
"Bye" She said as I closed the door.
**** NEXT DAY ****
"Hey Kenzie" I said as she came to my house right on time.
"Hey Ari, ready to get started"
"Yea" I said as we walked up stairs
"Ok, lets call Max first" I said picking up my cell phone.
"Hello?" Max answered.
"Hey Max, it's Ari." I said quietly.
"Hey, whats up"
"Can you come over?" I asked.
"Sure, be there in 30 minutes" and then we hung up.
"Alright we have 30 minutes. Lets get Ronnie" I said walking down the stairs.
"Hey Ronnieeee" I said putting on my innocent act.
"Hey baby, whats up" He asked looking away from the T.V.
"Oh you know just...THIS!" I screamed and blindfolded him.
"WOAH WOAH WOAH ARI! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING! WHAT THE FUCKKKKKKK" He screamed.
"RONNIE JUST LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING" I said leading him up the first flight of stairs.
I led him to the 2nd floor and walked him down the hall.
I opened the door, put him in the middle and walked out and closed the door.
"Okay Ronnie, you can take off the blindfold."
"Why am I in here" Ronnie asked.
"We have our reasons" I said as the doorbell rang.
I ran downstairs to find Max at the door.
"Hey dude, I need you to be quiet and follow me" I said pushing him up the stairs.
"Alright" He whispered following me.
"You have a guest Ronnie" I said quickly throwing Max in the room with Ronnie and closing the door.
"Ari, don't do this" Max pleaded.
"YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!" Ronnie yelled.
"I'm as serious as ever" I said crossing my arms.
"PLEASE LET ME OUT!" Max pleaded. "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HES CAPABLE OF"
"I'm pretty sure I do." I said as stubborn as ever.
"Really, what do you hope to accomplish by this. We will never be friends again" Ronnie said as stubborn as me.
"I didn't plan for you to be friends." I said.
"Then what was your plan?" Ronnie asked.
"My plan was to get you guys to be civil with each other"
"Why did you think that would work." Max asked.
"i don't know, but your not being let out until you work out your differences." I said.
"We'll see about that" Ronnie said coming towards the door and then smashing into it.
"What the fuck? WHERES THE FUCKING DOORKNOB!" Ronnie yelled rubbing his head where he hit it.
"Remember this is the room where it locks from the outside."
"Damnit, I forgot" Ronnie said.
"Now, TALK!" I comanded.
"NO!" Ronnie yelled.
"DO IT! NOW!" I demanded.
No answer.
"Fine. Don't. Your not being let out until you've talked out your differences."
"Were gonna be in here for a long time" Ronnie said.
We were there for about an hour and then I heard Jacky call from downstairs "LUNCH!"
"I'm so hungry, please let us out" Ronnie pleaded.
"Nope, talk it out or starve" I said and went downstairs.
"Hey Ari, can I tell you something" Kenzie asked.
"Sure" I said stopping in my tracks.
"I think I'm in love with Ma-"
"WHAT!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry"
"HOW!"
"Well, he seems so cute and ni-"
"NICE? HAVE YOU HEARD WHAT HE DID TO MY BOYFRIEND!"
"Yes but I think hes changed."
"YOU DON'T KNOW HIM!"
"FROM WHAT I KNOW!"
"THEN WHY DON'T YOU TELL HIM!"
"BECUASE THEN RONNIE WILL HEAR!"
"SO WHAT!"
"SO WHAT? SO WHAT?! I'LL BE BANNED FROM HERE FOREVER! RONNIE WILL HATE ME!"
"THEN TELL HIM LATER!"
"I JUST CAN'T STAND HIM BEING LOCKED UP!"
"THEN LEAVE!"
"I'LL STILL BE THINKING ABOUT IT!"
"WELL I CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT THAT" I said and waked the rest of the way to the kitchen.
"Ronnie's not coming" I said starting to eat my sandwich.
"Why not?"
"He's locked up at the moment." I said with a smile.
"Why'd you lock him up? And how" Jacky asked, I could see he was scared to even ask.
"I locked him up in the room that can't be opened from the inside and I want him and Max to talk out their differences."
"WAIT! He's up there with MAX!" Jacky asked.
"Yes"
"WHY! RONNIE'S GOING TO KILL HIM!"
"No he won't, their fine."
"If you say so" Jacky said sitting down.
After we finished eating I took Ronnie's sandwich up and put it right by the speaker thing so he could smell that.
I saw that they were in the same place I left them.
"I guess there was no talking" I asked.
"No way in he-" Ronnie started to say but stopped.
"Do I smell food" Ronnie asked coming to the door.
"Yep, your sandwich Jacky made for you"
"OH MY GOD IM STARVING" Ronnie said.
"NU-UH-UH" I said waving the sandwich in front of the glass.
"WHYYYYY" Ronnie whined.
"TALK!" I demanded.
"Fine" Ronnie said turning to Max.
"I'm only doing this cause I'm starving."
"Ok, I'm sorry for stabbing you in the back and abbandoning you and I'm sorry you got put in prison and I didn't" Max said.
"Well I'm sorry for that song and holding a grudge for so long and I'm sorry for everything" Ronnie said and turned to me.
"NOW?!?!"
"Hug" I said.
"NO!" He yelled stomping his foot.
I waved the sandwich and he slumped his shoulders in defeat and sighed and turned to Max.
He hugged him and turned back around.
"NOW?!"
"FORGIVE EACH OTHER!"
"I forgive you" Max said.
"I forgive you to" Ronnie said.
"NOW!" Max asked this time.
"Fine" I said opening the door.
Ronnie ran out, grabbed the sandwich and ran downstairs.
Max ran out, down the stairs and soon I heard the front door close.
"Mission accomplished?" Kenzie asked.
"MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! THANK YOU KENZ! COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!" I said giving her a hug.
