It's been a few days since that fateful night...
I'm in the living room with Kasumi where she is treating my wound.
"All right, time for the disinfectant..."
"Yeoooowww !!"
"Hey! Stay Still !"
"But it burns..!"
"Stop being a baby..."
(b-but i am your baby...wish i could say that but she'll put to much alcohol if i did..)
"Okay....."
After a few minutes, the treatment is over ...
"Good grief , i can't believe you..."
"You're not a superhero you know , it's okay to help people in need but not to the extent you'll put yourself in danger...It's a good thing you only got bruises if that guy even had a knife or a gun , cotton and disinfectant wouldn't be enough.."
(He actually had a gun though...but i can't tell her that ..)
After my shift was over , i kinda stop a high school girl being mugged by 4 thugs one of them land a solid right on my cheek after a break a few of their bones one got a gun but fortunately that guy didn't have a chance to use it...
"I'm sorry...i'm just careless..."
When i bow my head, she just smiled gently..
"Ah , it's all right , your doing the right thing after all.."
"Whatever you do to yourself , i'll be sure to fix you right up."
"Th-thanks.."
(Each time , huh ...)
Then, as if she read my mind....
"But don't you go out getting hurt on purpose!"
"Now , why would i do that ? hehehe..."
"Well..not might be on purpose, you just can't stand not helping other people , next time you got hurt , i'm not gonna treat you.."
(She says that, but i'm sure she'd always help me up..)
.....Although if i said that, she'd get mad, so i decide to keep that fact to myself.
"So anyway...."
Sitting on the sofa, i decide to strike up a different conversation.
"What ?"
"IT's not that i'm getting ahead of myself , but...when are we going to let everyone else know about us ?"
Even though we're dating, we haven't told anyone yet...
The reason being...
"W-well...i....."
"I-i'm a bit embarrassed...."
".....Ahahaha embarrassed that your in a relationship with me ?"
"NO !" she suddenly shouted
That caught me off guard as i look at her and notice that she's kinda glaring at me while pouting...
"Don't say that ! , that's not what i meant...."
"S-sorry , i was just kidding..."
"Even so...why would i be embarrassed being in a relationship with you ?!"
"I-i'm just embarrassed that Miyoko and the others are going to tease us.."
Well , yeah there's that....
"Should we , keep it a secret from then for now ?"
"Yeah but....."
She speaks bashfully in a low voice.
"I don't want to keep you a secret from anyone ,Mina..."
"But...I'm just too shy ...."
(Awwee and she's just too cute....)
Just then...
"What the ! Mina !?" said Yomiko
"huh ?!"
"Kyah !!"
"Oh, Mina! You're hurt!" said Reimako worriedly
"Quick open the TV !! Oh , you're here , Mina ?"said Miyoko who suddenly barge in
All of the sudden , everyone's inside the living room..
"Why what's on the Tele' ,Miyoko ?" asked Raika
"The real reason why , Mina got hurt..."
(Oh crap , did someone caught a wind on what happen ?)
"Real Reason ?" said Kasumi while looking at me suspiciously.
When Miyoko switch on the TV it was on the news channel were they are interviewing the high school student i save not noticing she recorded the whole thing. Kasumi and the others know now what exactly happened..
All eyes are on my injury..while Kasumi is furiously pouting while gazing at me..
"Geezz , Mina , playing hero again ?" said Miyoko
"But i had to admit , that's pretty cool though , someone caught you on action.." she added.
"Miyoko , don't compliment him , it might get on his head.." said Yomiko
"But you should really be careful next time , Mina you might not be so lucky.." reminded Raika..
"But he's cool thought.." muttered Reikamko..
"I feel stupid for getting worried..." said Yomiko
"It's a good thing Kasumi was here to patch you up.." said Tegemi.
"Uh, yeah...but if he keeps doing that i might not be so willing..." she said
Then a devilishly grin draws on Raika's face..
"You know , you've been awfully nice to Mina lately..."
"Y-yeah i kinda notice that , before you can't even stand near him.." added Miyoko.
"H-huh ?"
"I wonder if there's a reason...?" probed Raika.
"I-it's just....."
"....Are you being blackmailed by Mina , Kasumi ?!" said Yomiko
"W-What ?!" she quickly looks up in surprise..
"H-Hey now ! what kind of guy do you think i am ?"
"A pervert."
"Well yeah i might be , w-wait hey! no i'm not!"
"That's not it at all !" retorted Kasumi
"It's just Mina is my boyfriend !!"
(Uh! i guess the cat's out of the bag now...)
"Oh."
"WHAT !!!" said everyone in unison
"Are you serious ?" asked Miyoko
"H-he's blackmailing you now , i know he is !!" said Yomiko
"Oh my..." muttered Reimako blushingly
"Got yah..." said Raika grinning..
"Why are you holding out on me ! I want details.." asked Tegemi
"Uh, uh....Wait, i meant......"
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later....now i need to exit out of here..
(But she really put some weight behind those words...)
All i can do is give a wry smile..
Then....
*Smack!*
"Ow ?!"
"What are you smiling about , you pervert ?" said Yomiko with narrowed brows
She hit me on the back without warning.
"W-what.... ?"
"I knew it...You've been seeing each other since that time you went out , huh ?"
(Well you're not wrong...)
"Y-yeah, sort of...."
"Hmn...I see how it is ....."
(Hm ?)
Yomiko stares at me long and hard her cheeks blushing...
"Yomiko ?"
"You really are an idiot ...."
"Fine...i guess...."
"Huh ?"
"After what you promised me and said in my arch...."
Her voice i so low , that i can't hear everything she's saying...
But then a small , lonely smile appears on her face..
"Never mind..."
*Smack!*
"What was that for ?"
As soon as i was feeling better she smacked me again...
"Never mind ! You just treat Kasumi right !"
"If you make her cry , i'll kill you !!"
"I got it , just stop hitting me!"
(i'm already injured you know...)
Later on , we run to Kasumi's room...to avoid everyone's questions..
"A-ahahaha! i guess they found out after all..."
He face is bright red....
It's because it's all your fault , and why did you lie to me and what exactly happen to you , you could've got killed you know !"
"Well...i..uh , wait how is it my fault ?"
"Hmph!" she pouted
Looking unhappy, she sits on her bed.
(How's it my fault ?)
"Come on Kasumi , cheer up , i just don't want you to be worried about that , i only got a bruise after all..."
"And them knowing ...was going to happen sooner or later.."
"Or...do you prefer us to just be a secret ?"
"N-No ! stop saying that..."
Still looking a but peeved , she turns to me..
"I guess you're right, it was bound to happen..and i want to you keep for myself.."
she said that last part in a almost silent tone i find it hard to hear it..
"Right ..."
"So, at least we don't have to keep it a secret anymore..."
"Uh, huh.."
"And there's no reason to hold back anymore , either.." she added
"Yup...Uh, What ?"

Feeling funny, i glare at her face..
Suddenly , i'm trying to catch my breath..
Sitting on her bed , her face is cherry red...her cheeks are flushed while she seems to be piercing her lips..Her eyes are gleaming as she stares at me , and as if she's waiting for something..
"Um, uh....."
(is it just me , or it's getting hot in here....)
"W-what do you mean , hold back ?" he asked like a stupid idiot he is...
"A-are you going to force me to say it ?"
"Oh ! Sorry..." ( was it something i said ?)
My flustered apology causes her to laugh.
"If you know what i mean then...."
(i...uh, i honestly don't ?)
"Uh, uh-huh...."
I quietly take a seat next to her....
As i look into her eyes, it feels like i've been magically drawn into it... i had gone quiet and was staring at her. It made her self-conscious, but she was unable to look away once their eyes had met.
Perhaps because we were tying to keep our relationship a secret, we had been restraining ourselves from.
As my heart beats out i can almost here hers as well the melody of our loves and our hearts as one..
When she looked into his eyes once again, his expression was intense, almost threatening.
For a moment, Kasumi thought maybe he was angry, but before she could ponder it further, he yanked her to him and covered her mouth with his in a hungry kiss. She responded immediately, surprising herself. His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than she could have imagined. He tasted tentatively with his tongue, and Kasumi opened her mouth with a low moan.
"I've been waiting for that for a long time..." she said.
"Y-yeah..me too..."
She smiled and giggled.
She leans in close enough for our noses to touch, and then...
"Well...."
"...?!"
"How about one more ?"
"I love you, Mina...."
That confession is enough to melt my heart away..
"I love you , too."
Our lips connected one more time , it is a moment that i wish that could last forever.....
