Damon's pov
That night I couldn't sleep I finally just opened my eyes and looked around the dark room the only light shining was the moon that smell what was it.
It was a strong one that my nose just couldn't take and it was keeping me up I got up and was about to leave the room when it just disappeared I could smell it but it was barely there I went back to lay down when it was there again what was this I picked up Makenzie's laptop and smelled it It was on the laptop and her phone it was everything she own it was her scent the same scent I once loved now I couldn't even stand it
It was because I found my mate I longer love Makenzie the way I used to I felt so bad how can I do this to her I have to find a way to make her understand how I'm feeling without her jumping to conclusions
I want to stay with her I really do but I don't think I can stand to see Summer with Derrek I need to clear my head I need to get away for awhile

I just dressed for school in a green tank top and some jeans looked at myself in the mirror one more time then picked up my bag and went down stairs only to see Jace and Jackson sitting down eating both of their eyes landed on me roaming my body I could help but turn red I went to the fridge grabbed some water and an apple.

Did he really think his little speech was going to work well it wasn't I'm with Damon and that how I want it to stay but I know it won't last long I don't know what Summer is doing with my brother but I don't care to find out she just better not hurt him.
Now all I could think about was great now I have to spend the rest of the year here

10 months I'm going to spend with him next to him before and after every class it can't any worse than this
1 period
I walked in the class and I see Jace sitting in his seat reading relax Makenzie it only one class
3rd period
I was happy to see that Jace wasn't in my 4th period class thank god I felt much better But when I walked in the class room I saw him sitting on a desk talking to Jackson 3 girl were laughing and giggling.He didn't even notice I was there I took a seat and relaxed he was going to make me jealous over them they throw them self on every and anyone
"Oh my god Jace you are to funny" oh god shot me now.By the end of the day I was mad I Had almost all my classes with him I only had 2 period of peace
He came up to me at my locker at the end of the day
"So how was your day" he smiled at me was he not getting the picture
"Ok stop right there I don't know what you did but don't care you just made it harder on yourself ok now leave me alone
