After work, Tiffany and Audrey changed out of their uniforms and into their outfits and started walking out.
"You know that guy you were talking too looked pretty cute." said Tiffany
Audrey glared at Tiffany.
"Then why don't you date him then you seem to be good at that!" Audrey exclaimed
Tiffany gave Audrey a questionable look.
"Why would you say that?" said Tiffany
"Ugh never mind come on let's go." said Audrey
They went in Audrey's car and headed back into their shared apartment. When they got back they saw their roommate Nikki sitting on the couch playing Street Fighter 2 on Super Nintendo.
"Hey, guys how was work?" Nikki asked
Audrey said nothing but headed upstairs to lay in her bed.
"What's up with her?" Nikki asked
Tiffany showed her the note that Hiro gave Audrey and Nikki was surprised.
"Oh man someone asked her out?" asked Nikki
Tiffany smiled and nodded
"Well is she gonna go?" asked Nikki
"Of course she is and I'm gonna help her out." said Tiffany
"Okay but are you sure she's ready after you know who?" asked Nikki
Tiffany remembered what she meant.
"That won't happen again besides Audrey needs to get out there if she keeps holding on to that she'll never meet anyone." said Tiffany
"Alright, Tiffany I hope you know what you're doing." Nikki said as she went back to her game giving Tiffany a smile of hope
"Trust me, Nikki, I do." Tiffany smiled back
When she went upstairs she saw Audrey in her bed she sat next to her.
"What do you want?" asked Audrey as she covered her face with a pillow
"Come on Audrey you have a date with a cute boy and you gotta get ready." Tiffany urged as she started to shove Audrey playfully
"Quit it, Tiffany." Audrey said as she sat up moving away
"No way now get your butt in the bathroom and get ready." Tiffany said as she stood up
"Oh my god. Fine" Audrey said as she stood up
She grabbed a towel and headed to the bathroom
"Hey, that guy what's his name?" Tiffany asked
"It's on the note he said his name is Hiro." Audrey said from the bathroom
"Did you text him yet asking when he's gonna pick you up?" Tiffany asked as she looked through Audrey's clothes
Audrey pondered and then facepalmed stepping out of the bathroom to get her phone.
"That idiot didn't give me his number." said Audrey a little mad
Then her phone lit up. A text from an unknown number
"Hey, Audrey it's Hiro listen where do you live so I can pick you up for our date?"
"Oh is that him?" Tiffany asked
"Yeah, it's him at least he remembered to text me." Audrey said as she texted Hiro
"You moron your taking me out and didn't even bother asking sooner here."
She sends directions to her apartment.
"I expect you to be here in an hour and you better not waste my time either."
"So when's he gonna be here?" Tiffany asked
"I told him to be here in an hour." said Audrey
Her phone lit up again
"Don't worry beautiful I promise I'll show you a great time."
She blushed a lot after reading it. Tiffany glanced over to her.
"Hey what's up?" Tiffany asked
Audrey didn't say anything but showed her the text message. Tiffany's face lit up.
"Oh wow, Audrey this guy must really like you." Tiffany smiled
"Whatever." said Audrey
She sent him an old selfie of her with her tongue out.
"Hurry up and get in the shower you've got a date." said Tiffany
"Alright already god." Audrey said as she went to the shower
(30 minutes later)
Audrey got dressed and let Tiffany do her hair for her
"Hey, Tiffany?" Audrey asked
"Hmm, what's shaking bacon?" Tiffany asked
"I'm sorry about earlier when I yelled at you." Audrey said
"Don't worry about it girl." Tiffany said
"No, I shouldn't have done that to you. You put up with my crap all the time and your still there for me why?" Audrey asked
"You're my best friend Audrey I wouldn't have it any other way." Tiffany smiled
Audrey was a bit upset still. Tiffany wondered why.
"What's wrong Audrey really?" Tiffany asked worriedly
"It's just I'm worried about this what if he doesn't like me or what if he's just like." Audrey said sadly
"Stop." Tiffany said in a serious tone
"Tiffany?" Audrey asked
Tiffany sat right in front of her and looked at her with a face of worry and seriousness.
"Audrey you have to move on from that not all guys could be like he was." said Tiffany
"But"
"Audrey you have to give Hiro a chance let him show you that he cares about you don't stay hung up over one guy and one bad experience you have to move on soon me and Nikki already have you should too." Tiffany said as she pulled Audrey in for a hug
Audrey hugged back
"Your right thanks, Tiffany." Audrey smiled
Tiffany smiled as well
"Now let's finish up before he shows up." said Tiffany
(20 minutes later)
"How are you feeling?" Tiffany asked
"I'm still really nervous." said Audrey
"Don't worry you're going out with a cute guy and you're going to have fun trust me." said Tiffany
"Whatever this better not be a waste of time." said Audrey smiling
"See there's the Audrey I know." Tiffany said laughing
Audrey smiled at her friend.
(Ding-Dong)
"Oh, that must be Hiro you want me to go get him?" Asked Tiffany
"Yeah just give me a few more minutes alright." said Audrey
Tiffany smiled and walked downstairs.
Audrey looked in the mirror at herself. She breathed in and out
"I hope he'll like me." said Audrey
