They all woke up normaly and ate their breakfast made by Melody. As they were all eating suddenly Karlheinz walks in.
"Karl-sama." She was the first one to greet him and then followed the others.
"Melody come to my office now." He said in a strict tone.
"Yes." She got off her chair and followed him.
All of the brothers continued eating while a certain one needed to talk to their father immidiately.
They entered the office and locked the door.
"Karl-sama? Are you okay?" She asks concerned for his health.
"I'm fine. What about you? You have bruises all over you what happened?" He asks.
"Ah..this is...um..."
"What is it? No need to be afraid no one will hurt you."
"Mother did that to her." Shu said behind the door.
"Shu-sama?!"
"Shu what are you doing here?" Karlheinz obviously irritated at his son's sudden apperance.
"Mother did this to her because of me. Please stop her." Shu entered the room opened by his father.
"Alright. I will deal with her later. For now go back to your brothers." He instructed.
"Thank you father." He smiled and went back.
He locked the door again and dropped on the couch.
"Are you thirsty?" He asks.
"I-i'm fine." She smiled.
"I haven't fed you for weeks. I'm surprised you aren't thirsty yet."
"Shu-sama makes me drink from him sometimes." She lowers her head.
"No worries. But just in case drink." He patted the seat next to him.
She nodded and sat down. He carried her on his lap and she bit him.
"You've gotten better." He said.
"It's all thanks to you Karl-sama." Blood tricked down her chin and she wiped it away. "Karl-sama..something is bothering you. What is it?"
"I can't hide anything from you can I?" He grinned nervously. "I'm going to get killed soon."
"Huh..?" Her pupils became dilated.
"Vampire rebels will attack this place. The reason I called you is because I need you to save my sons."
"But Karl-sama! What about you?!" She gripped his shirt tears blurring her eyes.
"I trust you to take care of them. They won't attack immidiately that I know for sure. If that day comes I will protect all of you but you need to protect my sons especially Shu." He patted her head.
"I will fight with you! Please don't leave me!" She cried her heart out in his arms.
"I won't leave you. I'm immortal after all." He smiled at her gently telling her it would be okay. "I'm not easy to kill."
"Tell me..why will they want to kill you?"
"It's because I am a King. There will always be someone who would want to kill their leader."
"You didn't do anything...so why?!"
"Calm down." He patted her head. "I entrust to you my sons. As for Beatrix I shall send her away for doing this to you." He growled.
"Sorry and thank you, Karl-sama." She wanted to spend every minute with him if ever the rebels come.
"If they attack this place send them to the basement and don't come out once you know there is no one outside."
"Please promise me you will live." She looked at him.
"I will my dear child. I will." He smiled at her.
She finally stopped crying and calmed down. He told her not to tell the brothers or they would be shaken up. They all resumed eating and went about their day.
Inside Karlheinz's office was the Shu, Melody and the vampire king himself.
"YOU BITCH!" Beatrix shouted at her.
"BEATRIX!" Karlheinz shouted at his wife.
Shu embraced her in his protective arms as Karlheinz scolded his wife and told her to leave.
"...Therefore you will be banned from this mansion. Come back here and I will personally kill you." His tone was menacing.
"But!" Beatrix protested.
"You better be thankful that I'm not killing you on the spot! For not only hurting my son but also my daughter!" His words showed authority.
Daughter... He considers me his daughter. I shall protect father too.
(Melody's thoughts^)
"You consider that half-breed shitty trash your child?! Over me your wife!" She shouted.
"DON'T RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME!" Karlheinz bangged the table making it break.
Melody and Shu trembled at the sight of two pure breed vampires angry.
"Leave NOW!" He growled.
"Tch!" She walked out the room and glared at her and Shu.
'This is not over' She mouthed and disappeared.
"I'm sorry you two had to see that." Karlheinz sighed. "Both of you go to sleep now. You need to rest."
"Alright father." Shu nodded.
"Goodnight Karl-sama. Thank you." She said.
"Anything for you. Goodnight my children." He both kissed their foreheads goodnight.
They both took a bath in silence and slept together in her room.
The next 3 years has passed silently with only minor attack that were taken care of by Karlheinz and Melody who was trained secretly by the King himself. She was already 10 as for the brothers they all grew taller and more muscular. Her body grew in someother parts as well.
(Ehem chests ehem)
"Karl-sama why are these attacks so plain?" She walked beside him as they enter his 'office'. (Idk what to call it)
"I don't know what these rebels are thinking. Their basically sending their men here to die." Over the years his bright golden eyes slowly became duller.
"Maybe they are planning a large attack soon?"
"Maybe so." He sat on the couch tired of his work. "You need to drink up."
"Yes, Karl-sama." She bit his neck and started drinking his blood. After she took what she needed she stopped and healed the wound. "Thank you Karl-sama."
"No problem." He said.
The afternoon passed and she was busy cleaning the windows until Shu called out to her.
"Yes Shu-sama?" She turned her head around and saw him standing behind her.
(This part Shu is slowly turning into the anime personality)
"I'm thirsty."
"Okay." She slid down her sleeves to expose her neck.
"Even from here I can already taste your sweet blood." He grab a hold of her waist and pushed her into his arms. Him hugging her back and her facing the other way. Then he bit her.
"Ngnhh." She bit her lips to not make any noises. For some reason the older she got the more she felt the deep fangs pierce in on her skin.
"Thanks." He licked the wound and it closed.
"If you excuse me I need to go somewhere." She tried to entangle her self from him but he didn't budge. "Shu-sama?"
"Ah...sorry." He smiled at you and went away.
"Shu-sama..." She sighed and walked away.
2 days passed peacefully until this day.
"Shu-sama!! Get your brothers and head to the basement now!" She said as she kicked a vampire away.
"But I can't ju-" He protested but was cut off.
"SHU, REIJI, AYATO, LAITO, KANATO, SUBARU GO DOWN! NOW!" Karlheinz entered the room and brought out his sword and sliced the vampires head off.
