Just as I'm about to turn off my alarm Damon does it for me he's already up
"Come on beautiful rise and shine its Saturday you know what day this is. the day you love most of all"
"Mmmmmmm noooooo" It has been a year and some months since I've seen my pack or my brother or my mate Jace even though it been awhile since I've seen him the pain of my rejection still hurt.
Damon stepped in and has been helping me he's an amazing boyfriend yes I said boyfriend and since I'm home schooled that means he has to train me but we train on Saturday bright and early I sat up and started to get ready.
"I'll be outside when you're ready"
"Ok"I yelled from the shower when I got out I put on some shorts and a tank top and went outside Damon was already waiting for me
"Ok let's begin "I said walking over to him
he looked at me with his remember what I said look "remember Makenzie if anything bad ever happen you run ok just run and don't look back "I looked down and didn't answer him I hated when he would ask me and leave him behind I don't think I have the heart to leave him behind but every time we trained he would make me promise before he wouldn't tell me why he ask me to do that until one day when I asked he told me he didn't want me hurt.
"Ok Makenzie? Promise me this" I took a deep sigh and shook my head yes he lifted my chin and gave me a light kiss.
"Good now let's start with running around the whole territory come on"
we shifted into our wolves and began to run we ran long and far I lost track of the time and place we were laughing and joking the whole time Damon stop and went into dead silence.
"Damon what's-" I said through our mind link since I was with him we kind of became our own pack somehow we grew a bond strong enough to support a mind link
"Ssssshhhh do you hear that do you feel that" I stopped and listen there was a lot of rustling the ground felt as if was a stampede of bulls coming our way Damon looked at me
"Makenzie were not on our land anymore"
"WHAT who's are we on then"
"I don't know and I don't want to find out lets go" but it was too late as soon I started to move I was pinned down by a brown wolf Damon knocked him off of me
"RUN MAKENZIE RU-" a jet black wolf pinned him down they started to snap their jaw at each other I started to run the brown wolf and now a grey wolf was running after me but I out ran them when I saw they weren't behind me I stop to catch my breath
"Damon please be ok please be ok" I couldn't help but think of the things they would do to him my eyes started to water
I heard screams of pain coming from the area I just ran from I know who's scream they those were they were Damon's they were torching him I couldn't do it I ran back I don't care what he would have said Damon has always been there for me he never left me behind and I couldn't do that to him I ran faster than I ever had before the black wolf was now on top of Damon I can tell he was hurt bad cause he was in his human form and he wasn't move I knocked the jet black wolf off of his body and I stood in front of him protecting him from the other wolves the just stood there and looked at me
I looked at Damon he had blood on his chest and he passed out I licked his face to wake him up but nothing I tried again and again and again still nothing I had given up I was about to shift back into my human form and cry on him but I couldn't I had to stay strong I was going to beat the shit out these bastards for what they have done I turned back and looked at them they still haven't done anything they wanted to watch me suffer but I saw that they were planning on an attack when I moved they watch my every movement eyes land on the jet black wolf it was him who had done this he was bigger than the other I can tell he was the alpha I ran straight for him he was ready but he expect I would hit him with so much force he fell to the ground I was shaking with anger I heard a soft groan I look back at Damon his head moved
He looked over at me and raised his hand signaling me to come over his cuts were slowly healing I licked his face with happiness
"What you thought I would down that easy I'm a man and I don't go down that easy" oh brother he's defiantly fine him and his man hood pride a voice broke up our moment
"State your business here" I knew that voice anywhere the voice of the same person who had broken my heart the same person who had rejected me
"Damon it's him "I said through our mind link
"He's who "he responded back through the link he didn't want them to hear about what we were saying.
"It's Jace it's my mate"
Really how the hell did I end up here again?
