"Get out of my house, you disgusting pig" my mother yelled throwing my clothes left and right, all aiming at me
"Mom please, why are you doing this" i asked as my vision got blurry, from the tears that were on the verge of falling
"Oh stop acting stupid you know why, you went ahead and decided to humiliate my family by dating a black girl" she replies her face turning red in anger, then turning around and grabbing my things and then preceding to throw them out an open window
I watched as my mother ransacked my room, throwing profanities left and right most of them aimed at Y/N
"If only your father knew" she mumbled "he would be just as humiliated"
"No he wouldn't, he knew about me and Y/N and approved of it because he saw how much love we had for each other" i said wiping the tears on my face
"Stop lying, your father hated blacks and you know it" my mother replied turning around and facing me
I shook my head in disagreement "No he didn't, if only he was here to tell you"
"Well he isn't, and if you want to do anything you have to go through me" she snarled "and if you ever bring up your father liking those horrible people, you will regret it"
"But it's tru-"
"Shut up" she yelled interrupting me mid sentence, before slapping me in the face "now i want you to leave this house and find somewhere else to live, because i sure don't want you in my house"
I watched as she left my room, leaving me in a heartbroken mess closing my eyes i remember why i was going through this and why i've been able to be strong through it
Y/N and i sure as hell couldn't do it without her
Sighing i grabbed my things and shoved them in a mixture of suitcases and duffel bags and left the house, where somebody is supposed to feel safe and loved...

Louis
"Are you ready babe" i asked looking towards Y/N as she sprayed on some perfume
"Yeah, i'm done" she replies walking out of the bathroom and throwing me a sympathetic smile "i'm sorry for your loss babe"
I nodded, while taking her hand in mine and puling her towards me "i don't know what i would do without you"
She smiles and leans back, fixing my tie "let's go"

I watched as people exited their cars and walked towards the cemetery, debating if i should get out and follow or just drive off and mourn elsewhere
"Louis babe, we need to go" Y/n said gently taking my hand off the wheel
"I don't know if i can do it Y/n" i replied as i watched my family and friends walk off "i don't want to put you in that position again"
"Louis, this is your mother's funeral i don't want you to worry about me as much, and as of your family and friends if they cause a scene at this funeral, they're obviously there for the wrong reasons"
I looked at her and nodded in agreement taking a deep breath, i grabbed my shades and put them on over my eyes
"Let's go"
3rd Person POV
After having their little conversation, both Louis and Y/N exited the car and walked hand in hand towards the crowd
"He's here" Fizzy whispered to Lottie "and he brought her too"
Louis already seeing the whispering of the two sisters, gently squeezes Y/N hand as his way of telling her 'everything is going to be alright', and then receiving a gentle squeeze back
"I can't believe you brought her here" Daniel exclaimed slightly causing a scene
"Daniel not now" replies Louis as he shook his head in disbelief at his stepfather's outburst
"You bring this thing, to your mother's funeral knowing that no one in the family even likes or approves of this fetish" Daniel stated looking at both Louis and Y/N with a cold stare
"I don't even know why this involves you, you're not even my father" Louis scoffed "so why should i listen to my stepfather who treated my mother like crap"
"Look here you punk, i loved your mother from the bottom of my heart and considering i'm still married legally to her...i'm still your daddy" Daniel replies approaching Louis and poking him on the chest "and one thing i never understood about Jay is that, she didn't abort you when she had the chance"
"Well to bad she didn't, because my white behind is still here" Louis replies taking off his sunglasses and looking at Daniel in the eye
"Look, i'm not here for you or anyone in this family except for Louis, for crying out loud your mother who was also your wife passed, and here you are throwing a scene because your step son decided to bring me to the funeral, who by the way wouldn't have came if it wasn't for me...so grow up and have some respect" Y/N said firmly as Daniel rolled his eyes "Come on babe"
"Just to let you know, Jay would have never accepted your relationship with Y/N" Daniel whispered towards Louis as he chuckled
"It's funny actually because my mom is the one who set us up" Louis replies throwing a smile "now if you don't mind i have a funeral to attend"

His POV
I walked towards my parents front door, sweat coating my hands taking a deep breath i knocked on the door
5 years earlier
"So did you tell your parents about us yet" Y/N asked as i cringed at the sentence, the topic leaving my mind on a couple occasions
"No-"
"Seriously Zayn?"
"I know but *sigh*, i don't know if they'll accept you...you know" i replied as her face soften
"Well they have too, considering we've been dating for 2 years" she replies shrugging "Call them"
"Pardon?" i asked making sure i heard her right
"Call them, i mean it's not that difficult" she replies popping a strawberry in her mouth
"Alright, but i'm telling you they won't understand" i stated pulling out my phone and dialing the home phone
"Hello Malik residence" I hear Waliyah say as she answered the phone
"Hey Wal, is mom or dad home, i've got something to tell them" i asked as i heard muffled sounds
"What, you got a girl pregnant" she joked
"No, now don't say that you know dad would have my head on stick, if he ever heard that" i replied in a hush tone, not quite sure if my father was in the background
"Calm down Casanova, dad's not home at the moment but mom is" Waliyah replied laughing
"Urgh just get off the phone and let me speak to mom" i said urging Wal to get off the phone
"Fine, fine hang on" she replies as i waited to hear my mother's voice
"Hello"
"Hey mom it's me"
"Oh my goodness Zayn, i haven't heard from you in a while" she replies as i laughed quietly
"Yeah i apologize for that, time just slipped my fingers" i said as she 'mhm' in agreement
"Oh well that's okay, anyways what's the reason for your calling" she asked as i prepared to tell her
"Well, i uh um i have a girlfriend" i mumbled as i heard a gasp on the other end
"Oh my goodness finally, i thought that day would never happen" she exclaimed as i looked at the phone in disbelief "now don't get butthurt or anything, it's just exciting"
"I know, i just wondering if i could bring her to you guys for dinner" i asked nervously
"Of course what kind of question is that honey" she answered as i chuckled at her reply "just make sure she's an eater because, i'm going to cook a storm"
Chuckling i replied "alright mom, i'll see you then"
"Alright I love you Zayn"
"Love you too, mom"
Hanging up the phone i looked up to a highly anticipating Y/N "so what did she say"
"She said yes" i replied as Y/N's face lit up in excitement
"Did you tell her about our relationship" she asked
"Yeah i told i had a girlfriend" i simply replied as she gave me the 'are you serious' look "what"
"You know what Zayn, i want your parents to know that their son, their only son my i add is dating an ethnic person" she replies
"You do understand that i'm half Irish half Pakistani" i said as she rolled her eyes
"You know what i mean" she replies
"Don't worry, they'll love you" i said reassuringly even though deep down, i don't know what if they will
Fast Forward To The Dinner
"You ready" i asked looking over to a nervous Y/N
"I don't know Z, i thought i was but-"
"But nothing you're going to get out of this car, and walk to that front door and you show them that you're all mine" i said interrupting her mid sentence as she smiled
"Thanks babe" she replies leaning over her seat and pecking me on the lips
"Anytime, now leggo" i said opening the driver's seat door and walking over to the passenger seat and opening the door for Y/N
We walked towards the front door, hand in hand ready for whatever is in store
*Knock knock*
"I can't breathe" Y/N whispered as she gripped onto my hand
"It's alright babe, you can do it" i replied throwing her a reassuring smile
"Hey Zayn" i heard a voice say, as i looked down and saw Safaa
"Saf i've missed you baby girl" i replied bending down and engulfing her into a hug
"I've missed you too" she replies as her voice trails off "i-is this your girlfriend"
"Yes, she is Y/N i'd like you to meet my baby sister, Safaa" i said introducing her as she threw Saf a smile
Smiling back, Safaa grabs for me and whispers in my ear "You know mom and dad, won't approve"
"Who cares" i simply said getting back up and taking Y/N's hand, then walking into the house
"Mom, dad Zayn is home" Safaa yelled as Waliyah and Doniya rushed down the stairs
"Where is she" Doniyah asked pushing me out of the way, and making eye contact with Y/N
"Hi" Y/N says her voice only above a whisper
"Oh my goodness, Zayn finally has a girlfriend" screeched Doniya as she embraced Y/N "and she's real this time"
"Doniya please shut up" i shot back as she rolled her eyes
"It's really nice to meet you, I'm Doniya but you can call me Don or Dee, it ain't a problem with me" she says ignoring my comment
"And i'm Waliyah, the relevant one" Wal says pushing Don out of the way
"Well it's nice to meet you both" Y/N replies chuckling at their behavior "i'm Y/N by the way"
"Okay, now that you're down tormenting my girlfriend time to bring her to the table" I said taking her hand and walking towards the dining room
Doniya's POV
I watched as Zayn and Y/N walked towards the dining room, already knowing how this dinner is going to end
"Do you think mom and dad will be easy on them?" Waliyah whispered as i shook my head in disagreement
"I don't think so, you know how they are" i replied "let's just hope nothing gets to serious"
Zayn's POV
"Alright, stay here and come in when i say your name" i said turning to look at Y/N
"No problem" she replies as i walked into the kitchen to my unsuspecting mom
"Hi mom" i greeted as my mom turned around
"Zayn my baby, how are you" she replies embracing me "i may or may not smell like curry"
"You do, but it's alright" i replied "where's dad"
"Right here" i heard his voice as i gave him a hug "missed me"
"Sure did pops...did you lose weight" i asked looking at his quite smaller stomach
"No, but thanks for telling me" he replies laughing at my comment "anyways i heard you have a girlfriend"
"Yeah"
"That's my boy" my dad said patting me on the back "it isn't Perrie right?"
"No no no no no no" i replied shaking my head
"Good, i never liked that girl" my mom says butting in to the conversation "but i do like this one girl, named Gigi"
"Oh yes, she is wonderful" my dad said agreeing with my mom, to bad it's not her
"Do you know how rich her father is, if the two of you get married...we could be set for life" adds my dad, as i nodded already feeling the disappointment they will feel, when they meet Y/N
"Uh yeah about that, i'm not dating Gigi" i replied as my parents faces dropped
"Then who is it" my mom asked
"Y/N you can come in now" i said as a nervous Y/N walked into the dining room
"Ya jahim la" (Oh hell no) i heard my dad say as he's eyes widen "she's black"
"And what's wrong with that" i asked looking at my angered father
"Seriously, your asking me what's wrong with it...everything" he yelled as Y/N flinched at the height of his voice
"Honey please calm down" i heard my mom say grabbing onto my dad's arm, trying to calm him down
"Oh could you do this Zayn, you're ruining this family" he yells ignoring my mom's comment
"How"
"By mixing" he replies
"But isn't mom white, so technically i'm not even fully pakistiani meaning your pathetic behind mixed with a white woman" i replied as i grabbed for Y/N's hand
"You know what, get out of my house...you're no longer my son" my dad says as my heart sunk
"Seriously, because of Y/N" i asked surprised
"I did not raise my only son, to just take anything that comes to them" he replies as my mother steps in the middle
"That's fine, i don't need you anyways" i replied grabbing Y/N's hand and leaving the kitchen, i don't need ignorant people to tell me who to love
Present Day

"I broke up with her" i simply said "i want to be your son again"
