I must confess.
That's the sound of
my heart beating.
Now it loves you
more than me.
What can I do?
It no longer serves me.
Compelling it was no use,
Pleading was a failure.
It just does as it pleases.
I no longer own it,
it beats for you now.
So if u hear it's frantic beat,
when you come close
or when you kiss my mouth,
that's my own heart
betraying me.
