Hey, Stranger

Hey stranger,
I used to know you.
You used to walk beside me,
in the middle of the crowd.
You were always rushing,
oblivious to my world
whose spin was catching up to your pace,
I tried to keep up,
until I can't anymore.
I could only watch your back,
moving farther away, leaving me behind.
This is the story of
how i lost you,
losing myself along the way.
Now, you're but a stranger
whose face I vaguely remember.
Because somewhere along the bustle
of chasing, waiting, and wanting you near,
you lost me too...
