Jack's POV
I clenched my teeth as my neck was pressed against a cement block. I swallow against the blood stained surface. I look up at the Prince, the Queen and Princesses. The king I believe died a year or so ago. The Prince will reach his birthday and he will be the king. Which in my opinion is sad.
"Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third. Son of once a great Commander. Shame on him."
The crowd booed at Hiccup angrily. Of course, they loved the old commander is what I assumed.
"Jack frost. Civilian and theft."
The crowd booed once again and yelled out things like, "we work for our money, you cruel theft!" And "kill yourself! Have you ever had a job!?"
What they don't understand and don't know. Is that I in fact did. People just don't see that. It's like they only like their mind to be set on the negatives. I stole, I'm a pirate, I'm homosexual.
Why don't they see; I worked heaps of jobs, I provided for two important people at the age of 12, I'm a caring person.
They just don't see anymore. They are blind to what 'royalty' tells them.
I took a deep breath.
"In honour of our old commander and people that have worked hard all their lives only to be stolen from... We execute them." The large axe I saw in the corner of my eye lifted. I swallow trying to stay completely calm.
"I forgive you." I look towards the crowd who were still scowling and growling towards me.

"No! Stop!" A woman suddenly grabbed the axe above my head and shoved the man who held the one above Hiccup's.
"I can't let you! Jack Frost is my brother. I will not stand here and watch him, watch him be killed and accused for something me never did!"
A woman's voice cried and everyone looked around In confusion.
My sister?
I look up seeing the same brunette that was beside the Prince just a second ago.
"Princess Emma you must stay out of the way of the execution love." A males voice rung sweetly. I look over and my mind couldn't register it. The Prince... Married my sister?!
"No! He's no theft. He worked three jobs from the age of twelve. He kept my mother and I alive. He starved for me! He stole for me. You think he hasn't worked his whole life but he has. He was kidnapped by pirates because they were going to take me. He risked his life for me! You would never had me as your wife if it wasn't for Jack. This man beside him helped him survive from possibly dieing from another pirate."
How does she know this?
"Both of them has shown signs of being human and civil... Why don't you see? They are human! Stop stating they are pirates... Homosexual... Who cares who they love?" She screeched and people started whispering. This was obviously embarrassing the Prince but I felt like a proud big brother.
"Princess please, your making a scene."
"Release them Samuel or you kill me with them." Gasps sounded around from the crowd. I look over seeing Samuel's eyes widen with fear. He must really love her.
"No! You married into our family. You will respect the rules. If you wish to die. Fine."
The Queen commanded and nodded to the soldiers that stood back waiting for next commands. The one with the... Big... Axes.
"Mother please! Let the men go! I love Emma you can't do this."
The Prince was crying now and I watched on as he begged. Emma was grabbed, dragged to a cement block.
I look over and smiled sadly. Mouthing, 'thank you' and nodding towards her. She nods and mouths 'missed you.'
She looked over at Hiccup. I couldn't see what they were talking about sadly. Well in fact I couldn't see Hiccup at all when she was placed there.
The Prince continued to beg as he made his way down to the public area. I watched as he pushed through the crowd but was in fact pushed back. The commotion of the crowd was sickening loud but the loudest think I heard was a loud explosion.
I yelp as my ears start ringing. That was really close. As I dizzily blink all I hear is screaming.
Screams of pain.
Two people are tugging on my arms. Begging for me to get up... There isnt much time? I couldn't hear the rest but their yelling wasn't skipping over my head like they think it was. I shakily stand and I look up to see Hiccup smiling.
Before I knew it we were running. Running so fast I saw the world fall behind us.
We leave behind the things that trouble us.
I look back see the crew running behind us. They're alive, we're alive.
I let out a cheerful shout of happiness making Hiccup and my sister laugh beside me. My sister lead us to a ship and started getting the sails up. We make sure it wasn't tied to the land anymore and hopped on.
All the excitement was overwhelming. I sat down and laughed. Laughed so loud and happily. Things are falling into place slowly.
I look up and see Hiro smiling at me. H-he's here?
"H-Hiro."
"Welcome aboard Jack." He winked and I smiled as the crew cheered behind him. Dancing as the ship started moving from shore.
We did it. I let out a wolf whistle and stand up hugging Hiro tightly.
"Your idea?"
"My idea." He nods and I hug him even tighter. He hugs me back, gripping my back like his life depended on it.
I was so afraid that I forgot all about Hiro's disappearence. My fear corrupted my trust in my crew. It even harmed my relationship with Hiccup a bit.
But we can leave that behind us.
I have my sister, my lover, and my friends. I would not be able to live without those important to me.
Never, take important people for granted. Because they are the ones who come back to help.

"Where's mother?"
"She died not long after you were kidnapped. Stress I believe."
"Did... You have a funeral?"
"No, the money those pirates gave us were fake. But I did get to burn her and keep her ashes. She's in the castle now and also right here." Emma pulls out her necklace in between her beasts and smiles.
"Mother would have liked that." I swallow in dispare. I never got to say goodbye.
"Jack, mother was so distraught. She started working as a prostitute after you were kidnapped. She hated herself for giving you up and being tricked by those horrible men. We starved for so long. She always tried to feed me. B-but I felt so horrible taking it." She sniffles and I pull her into my chest. Hugging my younger sister.
"Jack... She wanted to die and I'm happy she did. She's at peace Jack but why to I feel horrible just thinking about it? I feel like an ungrateful child because as soon as she passed away, I was brought into the castle to live. They are so kind to me and they fed me. They only really wanted me so she could marry me to her son. Whom I love very much. I may go back soon."
I nod in understanding and kiss her head in a brotherly way. "I'll accept that... But be careful. After the stunt you pulled I don't think they really like you."
"Dont worry I know Samuel will protect me. We will be meeting out the back of the castle and he will come with me to live in the country side."
"B-but isn't he like.. the future king. The kingdom will fall." I say and she nods.
"I know that. I didn't say it was going to happen it depends on what my husband wants to do. He never really liked being a royal anyway."
I chuckle at her smile and hug her again. Holding onto her like a protective brother I am.
"I missed you Emma... A lot. I'll let you go to sleep. Goodnight." I smile and she nods towards me.
"I missed you to the moon and back. Goodnight big brother." She gets settled into her bed as I leave the room quietly.
I head to mine and Hiccup's. I see he's already in bed. I smile softly and strip down climbing into the bed.
I squeal as I'm attacked by Hiccup's arms and mouth.
"Hey love." He chuckles and I giggle breathlessly.
"Dont scare me like that." I grumble and kiss him passionately. Our hands exploring each other's bodies like we are reminding each other, we are still here.
