"She realized that the moon would still come around, and she would forever be in love with it, but she had to move on. She took a liking to the sun, the beautiful thing that rose every morning, the thing she saw on a daily basis with no hesitation.

"Yet, she was still conflicted over the moon. She loved the moon very much so, but it had caused her so much pain that she began to despise it. The sun, on the other hand, gave her joy, but not as much as the moon did.

"She knew that the sun wouldn't cause her pain, what's so ever. And she realized that the sun is probably the safest choice. Yet, the moon was still on her mind. The moon was dark, and could be so hurtful, yet caused the girl so much happiness and bliss.

"She didn't know what to do."

"So let me guess," Ally put the laptop down, leaning forward. "Camila is the moon, and Vero is the sun?"

I sighed and took a sip of my coffee, "I don't know."

"I think you do know," Ally said. "I just think you don't want to choose."

I shrugged my shoulders and looked out of the window, "Maybe. Maybe not."

"At least you'll be happy in the end though, right?" Ally inquired as I turned my head back to her.

"Will I though, Ally? Be happy in the end?"

"You could always get her drunk," Normani suggested. "Like, that usually makes people tell the truth about how they feel."

Again, Normani and Camila sat in the same bar drinking shots.

"Whatever," Camila rolled her eyes. "Have you talked to Dinah yet?"

Normani sighed, drowning a shot, "No."

Camila groaned, "Why not? You two are destined to be together."

"Like you and Y/N," Normani retorted with a scoff. "No, but, I don't know. I'm just giving her space."

"She loves you, Mani," Camila responded. "Zendaya even knew that and she was marrying Dinah."

"Don't even," Normani groaned. "I feel so bad and horrible about it all. I basically ruined their wedding by showing up."

"Good," Camila scowled. "Because those two together do not look right. It's you and Dinah, okay?"

"And it's you and Y/N,"

Camila knocked on Ally's door, it swinging open and revealing her and Ethan.

"Oh, hey, Camila," Ally smiled. "Come in."

"Hey Als," Camila looked down at Ethan. "Hey little man, you're everywhere, aren't you?"

"Yeah," Ally murmured. "Since Y/N is busy with her book, I decided to babysit Ethan for a day. I gotta go into work in an hour though, so Vero is on her way."

"Wait -- " Camila paused as she followed Ally into the kitchen. "Y/N is working on her second book?"

Ally nodded, "Yeah. Don't tell her I told you, though. I wasn't suppose to mention it."

Camila sighed as she sat down, "Okay. Am I in it?"

Ally glanced at Ethan to see him reaching for a bottle of water, which she got and gave it to him, "Yeah. That's all I can say, no more."

Camila nodded, eyes trained on the counter, "Okay. But is Vero in it?"

"Camila," Ally said in a warning tone.

"Ally."

Ally sighed, running a hand through her hair, "Kinda."

"Of course," Camila murmured. "I don't like her. Something seems off."

"How?" Ally inquired, noticing that Ethan is too busy to listen to their conversation. He's watching SpongeBob.

Camila shrugged, "I feel like she's using Y/N for her book or something."

"Ca - " Ally looked toward the door, seeing Vero standing there and listening.

"She's suspicious, that's all," Camila sighed out. "I bet Y/N is only nice to her because of Ethan."

"Camila," Ally mumbled, eyes going to Camila then Vero.

"What? Oh," Camila locked eyes with Vero, who had a hurt look plastered over her face. "Shit,"

"Come on Ethan," Vero softly said. "Thanks Ally."

The mother and son walked out of the house, leaving Camila and Ally in the kitchen.

"Crap."

Y/N noticed the unsettling silence between her and Vero. Y/N usually didn't mind silence, but this time, something was off.

Vero was staring off into the distance, lost in thought. Y/N sighed and saved her draft, shutting the laptop.

"Alright," Y/N got up and sat across from Vero on the coffee table. "What's wrong?"

Vero shrugged, "Nothing." Ethan was sleeping in Y/N's bed.

"Vero," Y/N softly sighed. "What's wrong with you? And don't lie."

"I just - ugh," Vero groaned. "I went to go pick up Ethan from Ally's, right? And Camila was there, so I walked in and I heard her saying things about me."

Y/N furrowed her eyebrows, "Like what?"

"That uh," Vero hesitantly said. "That you were only friends with me for Ethan. That you felt bad for me."

"What?" Y/N raised an eyebrow. "That's a lie, okay? I don't like you just because of Ethan. I like you because you're you, Vero. Because you're beautiful inside and out."

Vero blushed, a small smile forming on her face, "Thank you."

"Yeah," Y/N went quiet for a moment, staring at Vero. "Hey Vero?"

"Yeah?"

"Would you like to go out sometime?" Y/N asked. "Just us."

"As in a date?" A small smile formed on Vero's face.

"Yeah," Y/N smiled, nodding her head. "As in a date."

"I'd like that,"

Normani knocked on the door, taking deep breaths and trying to calm her down. The door opened, revealing a tired looking Dinah.

"What? Oh, Normani. Hi," Dinah glanced down at her feet. "What's up?"

"Can we uh, talk?" Normani asked, biting her lip. "Please?"

"Yeah," Dinah muttered and stepped aside. "Come in."

Normani walked in, and Dinah shut the door. Normani looked around, seeing food wrappers and boxes everywhere.

"Sorry it's a mess," Dinah apologized. "But what's up?"

Normani turned around and stared at Dinah, then decided to blurt out, "I love you, Dinah."

Dinah sighed, not knowing what to say, so she just stayed quiet.

"And I know that you loved Zendaya," Normani continued. "But before Zendaya, it was you and me. You loved me, and I loved you. It was Norminah, remember?"

Dinah glanced down, her hair messy and tangled. Normani smiled a bit, still thinking she was beautiful, even if she had bags under her eyes.

"You're beautiful, Dinah," Normani softly said. "Even if your hair is tangled up," she cupped Dinah's face. "Even if you look like a hobo on the streets."

Dinah softly laughed, "I love you, Mani. And I'm sorry for everything."

Normani wrapped her arms around Dinah, "I love you too. And it's okay. I'm here for you, I always will be."

Dinah smiled, "Thank you. I really wanna kiss you, but my breath stinks."

"Okay," Normani laughed. "Go take a shower and clean yourself up. I'll start cleaning around here, and then we can go out to lunch."

Dinah smiled, "Okay."
