Nedrana POV
Sis has been...really out of it lately....
"Everyone, please return to your classrooms" My father's assistant announced through the speaker. Soon, Everyone was making their way to their classrooms.
Grabbing my sister's hand, I pulled her to the exit. The others were following close behind us.
"It's been a long time, Naereshcka, Nedrana" A familiar voice whispered. I looked around and noticed that there was no one in the auditorium except for our group. What the...?!
On impulse, the others went infront of me and my sister. "Who's there?!"
Kaine called out.
"Now, Is that really a good way of treating an old friend?" Who the heck is this person? "
Sister Nae, Don't you even remember my voice?" The voice asked. Goosebumps started appearing on my arm as I glanced at my older sister, who was alot more quiet than usual. I was scared of what she would say next.
"Katherine..." She whispered, her eyes wide. I gasped and felt the blood drain from my face. Katherine was exiled from our family because..she tried to kill mom so that she could become boss.
Katherine laughed "So you finally remembered huh?" In a puff of smoke, she appeared before us surprising all of us. I trembled in fear at the sight.
It wasn't really her newly-colored, black hair or her sinister, grin that made me feel weak...
It was her emerald, green eyes that held so much madness even when we were kids it made my stomach churn.
CRASH!!!
Naereshcka's POV
We all looked around for the source of the sound and saw movement behind some chairs.
"What the heck is going on?!?!" A girl screamed at us. She was a human...no doubt about that.
"I thought it was a joke when Headmaster Kaien said 'Welcome to the school of monsters' But this is all too real!!!" It was clear she was panicking...Oh boy...We are in alot of trouble...wait...how did she even get in here?!
"Annoying human..." Katherine paused. "Shall I...get rid of her existance?" She asked us. the girl screamed.
"Don't screw with us!!!" Adrian yelled. Oh, So the idiot finally grew a backbone. "Luka, get behind us" Kaine ordered "What?! No way! I can fight too!!!" Luka retorted.
Katherine flew towards the girl, her bat wings appearing on her back. I ran to them, the adtenaline kicking into my system.
"Die, human!" Katherine shrieked. I kicked her on the jaw, sending her flying a couple of feet away...That has gotta leave a mark...
"If you lay a hand on any of the students...I'll kill you!!!" I growled. It is my duty, after all to take care of the humans.
"M-Miss N-Naereshcka..." With that, the girl fainted.
God, Seriously?! This situation can't get any worse.
"Ahhh!!!" I stand corrected. I turned to look at my friends to see they were surrounded by familiars. (Slaves/helpers of monsters)
Kaine and Adrian were doing their best to defend the girls. You see, Kaine's power is ice which is really ironic since his best friend, Adrian's power is fire.
Adrian and Kaine were trying they're best, that much was clear. The familiars were too many for them. Adrian's attacks were getting weaker and the defensive ice wall, that was around Ned, Hana and Luka, was slowly starting to melt. I have to help them!
"Focus on your own battle, sister!!!"
Snapping me out of my thoughts, Katherine attacked me with a series of attacks but I either dodged or blocked them, then my sister gave a hard punch to my stomach.
Katherine's POV
Ha! Take that, Sis! Revenge is so sweet!
"Ah...that reminds me so much...." No way...that hit should have left her unconscious for at least a couple of days...
"...of when you kicked me when you were taking your first toddler steps".
There was a really creepy tone in Nae's voice...More importantly, My attack was that weak?!
"I'll teach you, how to properlypunch someone..." The next thing I saw was a flash of a fist hitting my left cheek before I gave in to the darkness. I didn't even have time to feel the pain...
Nae's POV
I couldn't believe that Katherine was still so weak...guess the bark was bigger than the bite...
"Hey, you guys alright?" I asked my friends. Adrian smirked at me. "Is the princess worried about me?" That arrogant little...Good people don't cuss, Nae. Nice people don't punch others...
Okay, I admit I'm not good with anger management but at least I try....right? "We're all alright, princess" Kaine reported after checking the others for injuries. "Adrian, why can't you be more like Kaine?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" Adrian feigned sadness. "She's talking about the fact that you're an idiot" Luka stated calmly as Ned and Hana giggled. "Wha-! Hey, that's so cruel of you, Luka!" Adrian pouted.
By the way, Katherine was now tied up in Arken chains, chains that seal a monster's powers away. And after they saw their master knocked unconscious, the familiars retreated to God knows where.
"Ned, why didn't you use your powers?" I asked my sister. "Well, you see..." I cocked an eyebrow as she rubbed the back of her neck "My powers work on a whim, remember?" I nodded. I understood what she was going through, after all.
We then identified the human girl, Candice as a student who transferred cause of family problems, it was a good thing Luka's powers are to erase people's memory.
"What on Earth is going on here?!?!?!"
And that my friends was the voice that screamed 'Your future depends on how you answer my question' And that my friends was the story of how I was madly interrogated by my father, whom I love so much.
Dad got really mad at us for getting a human involved and he panicked running all over the place until I reminded him of Luka's abilities which calmed him down a bit...I mean it was a bit awkward since he was my father figure...
Come on, Imagine your dad running around in circles looking like the world is ending. Wouldn't you find it weird?
Katherine was taken to the Arcana jailroom/prison in the basement.
Other than that, he was glad we were alright. "I have a question though..." He said.
"Who attacked you guys?" Hurrah, serious dad is back...(no enthusiasm at all...) He's more amusing and entertaining when he's not serious...
After explaining...( A/N: Me lazy... Don't judge me!!!
"Okay, okay everyone, calm down" Dad said while taking deep breaths.
I deadpanned at him "Shouldn't you be the one calming down?" Luka said. I hear you gurl...I totally hear you...
"Aside from that, I'll introduce you to your new homeroom adviser, Miss Annie Berganio." As if on cue a woman walked in from the door...
