"Is everything okay? What's with all smiles?"
Abby just went along and smiled with them
"Nothing. Com'ere" Coby patted the seat next to him in which Abby obeyed immediately
"Hey---what's up with you?" she asked. Obvsly weirded out by her fiancee
"..."
"Um, sissy, bro, let's eat dinner! I already cooked green pasta... that's your fave. If I'm not mistaken. Right, little bro?" Ly [Lyra] said with enthusuasm
"Yep" was Coby's simple retort while fiddling with Abby's hair
"You fine with that, sissy?" Lyra asked Abby. She already calls ger sissy as she calls all her other siblings 'sissy' and 'bro'
"Yup. I'm fine with that sis" Abby answered. Yes, indeed, she was already undeniably close to Lyra. But she answers with full respect. And yes, the Belmonte brood had already met Lyra. A sister of Coby who was "long lost"
"Okay then. Let's eat! Chop chop!" Lyra clapped which sent the couple to be standing side by side, hands intertwined, while walking to the dining room
~A hearty dinner had passed~
Coby's footsteps were heavy and lazy. Sleepiness with a hint of alcohol evident in his face. He was a bit tipsy already and Abby served as his only firm structure
"Are you sure you're alright, bruh?" Grey asked his brother-in-law
"Npphh //burrpp////groan// y-yuh. Immma b-be alright, brooowwss!" he was obviously drunk and out of himself. Guess they all had the same thing in mind---he enjoyed himself too much to the point that at that time, his girlfriend (it is still considered as girlfriend since he hasn't formally proposed) was already throwing a pity party for herself
But nevertheless, once she saw Coby out of condition, she immediately hoisted herself up and took care of Coby. All of them thought that, indeed. Coby had, undeniably, the best girlfriend in the world
Once it's about Coby, Abby throws away her ego and focuses on her boyfriend
Indeed, they're like married for years now
"Coby, you're not okay. You're drunk and half awake. You're barely even yourself at the moment" Abby said, still having Coby's arm slinged over her nape
"Mrrrppp. I'm f-f-f-fine" his body started to make weird noises and his eyes were red as hell. Drunkness and fatigue evident in his face and wobbly body
"Nah, bro. Your girlfriend's right. You aren't yourself and your totally drunk" Lyra said and emphasised on the 'totally' part "I think you both should stay for the night" she continued
"Sis, are you sure it's fine. I mean, we might bother you or somethin" Abby asked Lyra and seated Coby in the couch for awhile
"Ofcourse it's fine" she said
"Are you sure, sis? Baka kasi makaabala kami sainyo" Abby was now shy. It was evident in her voice, tho
"Yes, sissy. You might get into trouble on your way back to your hotel. You stay beside Coby in the bed there sa guest room. Lay him down now. You know guys when they're drunk"
"I know... thanks a lot, sis" Abby was both embarrased and thankful at the same time
"Oh, go lay him down na. And then I'll give you some clothes of mine for you to borrow and wake Coby up first so that he could get dressed, too" Lyra was undoubtedly a loving and caring sister
"Okay. Thanks, sis"
"No prob, lil sissy"
Abby layed Coby down the bed and Lyra gave some clothes for them to borrow
Once she has showered and dressed, she felt comfortable and reliefed
She woke her cute sleeping hubby
"Coby. Gising ka muna. Mag shower ka lang saglit" she tapped his shoulder
"Mm. Okay"
Coby stood up, still wobbly, but his Mr. Independent side rained over him
While he was showering, she texted the gang and told them that she and Coby would stay the night in Coby's sister's place and thankfully, the gang understood
She was then scrolling through her Instagram, posting her stolen shots of Coby and tagging him. Her fans were hung up in kilig like how she has experienced
Yep, Abby has fans. She, aside from being a business heiress, was also an actress. She would do a couple of tv shows and some guestings but would reject most of them since her focus was learning more about how to run their business. And in her span of 15 years in showbusiness (she has started showbiz since thae age of 8), she has built up a solid fanbase. Her official facebook page has earned 2.1 million likes and 2 million Instagram followers and maximum amount of friends in some other social media sites
Coby too was a part actor. But he did lesser appearances and tv shows that Abby did. He has been around showbiz for 10 years and put his career on mute once he went in college. He, too built up a solid fanbase. About 2 million page likes and 2 million Instagram followers. Abby has heard about him before, but never really met him personally. The showbiz world was small, but somehow it never really occured or it never got to the point where the two would step in each other's circles
Lyra then came in the room
"Hey, sissy. He's still in shower?" Lyra asked, her head peeping on the door which was agape
"Apparently" she answered
"Wanna have coffee?" Lyra offered
"Sure"
They both went out the room and went to the balcony where Lyra kept her coffee maker and mugs and Starbucks cups and coffee mixes. Yep, it was pretty big
"So... looks like you often have coffee here"
Abby noticed
"Mhm"
They were seated on the table and drunk their coffee on Starbucks cups
Yup, all this was part of Coby's plan.
"You know, I think I've seen you before" Ly tried to remember and Abby had a hint already "In----"
"In tv?" Abby continued
"Well yeah. Aren't you-" Ly was again cut off by Abby
"Beatrice Alonte" Abby continued
"Oh My Gods! You are Beatrice Alonte!" Lyra then recognised her.
Abby just scratched nape in embarrasment
"Lemme guess... Beatrice Alonte--stage name?"
Abby just nodded in response
