The Lost Get Found Poetry

No Returns

I lost you.
And although
You were never mine,
Still it stings
Like no pain
I've ever experienced.
I poured my heart
And all of my being
Into loving you,
And your arms
Felt like home to me.
But my devotion
Was not returned,
Because you didn't endure
The same adoration
That I felt for you.
And in the process
Of losing you,
I too
Lost myself.
