June 11th
We just graduated yesterday and I already miss school, that's what kept me occupied. Oh, I'm also 7 months, yay me!
Chris has continued blowing up my phone everyday, nothing new.
" Someone is turning 18 in 2 weeks ! " August said jumping on my bed
" Get out " I said turning over
" Why you not excited ? "
" Give me all the reasons to be excited "
" Because, you legal, you grown, and you on yo grown woman shit. "
" See, all of that is the same thing " I said rolling my eyes and leaving out the room
" Where you going ? "
" For a damn walk "
" You ain't white, you know yo ass a get snatched doing that shit at 9 at night, you better go sit down, and you pregnant ... Naw , go sit back down. "
I turned and looked around, " Nick Rios, is that you? " I said looking around, trying to be funny.
" I do what I want " I said rolling my eyes
" Maria, I'm not trying to be your dad, your boyfriend, or your big brother , just a friend. More like a Bestfriend and I'm just telling you what I think is best. From the kindness of my heart and also cause I care..I don't want you to get harmed and you're 2 months away from having your daughter. Nothing needs to happen. What are you taking a walk for anyway? "
" I don't know " I said shrugging my shoulders, I really don't know why.
" Just to clear my head, get a peace of mind. "
" Well you can go for a ride "
" I'm fine, I don't even want to go nomore. I need to go sit down anyway. "
" There you go, we can go downstairs and look at a movie or something "
" Okay, that's fine. I'll be down .. "
" Alright, I'm about to go find something for us to watch, scary or comedy? "
" You already know " I side smiled.
August was right and he had nothing but good and true intentions for my well being so I can't even get mad or stay mad at him for telling me
not to go.
Let me head downstairs so we can get this movie started. Feels like I haven't sat down and looked at one in forever.

" Augguuuust , What do I doooo ? " I said whining.
" Well what do you want to do? "
It's at least 4 days until my birthday and I have no idea what I want to do for it. At first I didn't care , but as it came closer, I started thinking about it. I'm close to saying that I don't want to do anything. Nothing's going right anyway, why try ?
" I don't know... " I said pouting. Now I want to cry because , I want to do something... But I don't know what.
I'm so bipolar sometimes..
" We'll figure something out " he said as he left from Wendy's to Popeyes.
I really wanted some chicken and he wanted Wendy's... And he didn't mind detouring afterwards to get it.

12:00 AM June 26th
' Yeah, Birthday, it's your birthday
If I die bury me inside the Louis store.
They ask me what I do and who I do it for
And how I come up with this shit up in the studio. All I want for my birthday is a big booty hoe '
Music blared loudly, waking me up as August jumped on my bed.
" You're so annoying " I said laughing
" Happy birthday lil boy " August said turning down the music.
" Do I look like a damn boy " I straight faced him
" Possibly ... "
" You know what, get out " I said throwing the pillow at him.
" Ima let you get your rest , I just needed to do that. Happy birthday baby girl " he said kissing my forehead and leaving out, closing the door.

I got up to go pee, I always have to pee in the morning.
I walked out the room to a lot of colorful balloons everywhere. All on the floor, some hanging on the stair rail. Awwwwn...
I pee'd and brushed my teeth and washed my face then I went into the room to grab my phone. Seeing all the ' Happy birthdays ' and missed calls and texts I got. My Bestfriend made a post on all her social networks, my mom called and texted me and a whole lot of other people. Chris wrote me a paragraph that read,
' My baby. ♥️ I don't care, good terms or not... Where you going? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 Today your day, I really want to see your gorgeous ass today but I know we didn't leave off on good terms. 😕 And this is not the time or way to apologize and talk to you, not only cause it's your special day but because I know you're tired of my apologies and my stupidity. 😔 I know you won't let me see you either, but that's fine cause either way it goes, happy birthday my beautiful baby. I picked up my phone and headed out the room. Music started blaring the moment I walked out the room. One of my favorite songs actually, Body. ( By Dreezy and Jeremih )
As I walked down the stairs I seen a lot of breakfast food on the table and August dancing around to the song.
The music was coming from the TV.
" The birthday girl is up! " he said smiling and pulling me into a hug.
" Look at all this you did " he smiled
" And me, don't forget me " Asia said coming out of one of the rooms downstairs.
" Oh my god , Bestfriend I missed you so much!" I said hugging her tightly
" Yeah, you act like you couldn't call nobody " she said playfully rolling her eyes
" I'm sorry. A lot been going through my head " I whined
" Okay, we'll talk later. You gotta eat. We got a lot to do! " she said pushing me to the table
I sat at the table full of pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, eggs, fruit, orange juice and others and said a quick prayer then started eating.
" So what's planned for today? " I asked Asia
" Don't worry " she said smiling and going upstairs
...
Finally done eating, August cleaned up the mess and did the quick dishes and put up the leftovers and told me to head on upstairs.
As I got upstairs , pushing the balloons aside with my feet, Asia was in the room I sleep in.
" Go take a shower , you stink " she said pushing me out the room
" Hold on , I know damn well I don't st- "
" I'm just playing , go take a quick shower " she chuckled
.. After I got out the shower and rebrushed my teeth, I went back into the room to see an outfit laid out on the bed for me.
It was actually cute. I quickly put it on and put the shoes she had to go with it, on. I brushed down my flat ironed hair, only adding a little heat to it.
I went downstairs to see August and Asia sitting on the couch talking, they of course stopped talking when they seen me.
" My Bestfriend so fine " Asia smiled
" Go through the back , I had to park my car back there because somebody! " she said looking at August rolling her eyes
" but I need my keys, wallet, p- "
" All you need is your phone, gone to the back."
I chuckled and followed as instructed.
Asia and August came out seconds later
" Let me see your phone " August said
" Smile " he said
I did a silly smile and he snapped the picture
" Model pose " I said turning to the side
After he snapped the pictures , I put the two together that I liked , uploaded them and headed to Asia's car

I immediately got likes and comments but didn't pay any attention to them at that moment.

After an hour of driving, we appeared at the mall. One of my favorite malls.
" Shop Till You Drop " Asia said as we got into the entrance of the mall.
..
We shopped till my feet were hurting and each of us was holding at least 10 bags or more on our arms.
We were now in the car and headed to where? I don't know
After another hour of driving we arrived at the biggest carnival in town. Why did we go here ? I acted like the biggest kid ever. August won me bears and prizes and Asia got on practically every ride with me that I wanted to get on. We were now about to get a funnel cake so we could go.
I had a lot of fun. 😩

9 PM arriving at Olive Garden
" Omg I never been here ! " I said surprised and hopping out
" Don't you think I know that " Asia said smiling and getting out
After waiting a few minutes to get settled in, we were able to order and their food was really good.
" How do you like it ? " August asked me
" I love it. It's real good and service is great "
" It was my idea " August smiled
After us laughing and talking, having a good time , it was time to leave. Asia and August split the bill although I objected & Asia's exact words were,
" How you gone object with no wallet ? " I had to laugh because she was right. What was I going to pay with?

We were now back at the house. But sitting outside of it , it was pouring down raining.
" Y'all it's pouring down raining " I laughed
" You scared of water , you must be dirty " August said on the drivers side
" My hair gone get all wet and curly and it
took me forever to flat iron it " I whined
" Girl so " Asia said as her and August got out and opened my door. Then, her and August both pulled me until I was up and in the rain with them.
All I was doing was laughing. I even fell in the grass, not on my stomach though, my butt. It was from all of us laughing so hard.
After playing in the rain, we finally got in the house soaked.
I headed upstairs and took my flats off and put on some socks. Asia had the flats in the car for me way before we left.
I changed into something else quick being my previous clothes were wet and dirty.

I did as instructed and it was really dark except for a light in the corner.
" Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy 18th birthday to Maria , happy birthday to you. " They sung in unison , but off key. I smiled hard.
And of course August had to show off his singing skills, " Happyyyy Birthday , To Youuuuuu " he said hitting a note
I couldn't help but smile and tear up.
" Make a wish " Asia said
I made a wish, which was for everything just to fall into place, the right way.
I opened my eyes and the lights were on
" WAIT- Don't blow the candles out yet , smile " August said as he snapped the picture.
" Don't mind the nine, it's Augusts fault. "
" No.. Asia said- "
" Its not about what I said, how in the hell did you get a nine instead of an eight? " Asia said putting her hand on her hip
" Because , it was a lot of eight's but I didn't want the first one , I wanted the one behind it and it was a nine instead.... "
" It probably was all nines and the first was only eight. You could've gotten the first one, like a normal person. You so damn dumb. "
" You guys " I laughed , they're hilarious
" Its okay, it doesn't matter if it was a 9 or 8, I had soooo much fun today. I had a blast. I appreciate everything y'all did for me. The paying , which I'm going to pay y'all back, the spending time, making breakfast , everything. Just everything, I can't even name it all. I just appreciate it all , I didn't have a clue what I was going to do or what I wanted to do and y'all made this day so very special for me and I can't thank y'all enough "
" Its no problem baybeh " August said pulling me into a side hug
" Girl bye, it was my pleasure. I like surprising people " Asia said smiling
" And you ain't gotta pay us back anything " she said
" Speak for yourself " August said
I straight faced him
" August shut up before ... " and they got into another sister and brother argument.
We finished off the night by playing monopoly. I had one of the best birthdays I could ask for. I'm so thankful for friends like them.
