Chapter [4] - Jill
Refreshing blows of air, steamy weather and awesome smell of the beach. What a perfect life I have. Since it’s sembreak my parents decided to visit Bicol. We have a family beach resort here. Simple lang naman but enough to cater our family. Ang beach na ‘to is coming from my mother side. Yes mommy is a Bicolana, cool right?
“Anak can you please call your brother?”
“Why Mmy?”
“Wala pa kase siya eh. Supposedly dapat andito na yun napaka-pasaway talaga ng kuya mo. Jombagin ko na ba?”
“Hahaha. Mom! Your terms are really funny, seriously Jombag? Hahaha.”

Mom is really hilarious.
“Tawagan mo na lang jill.”
And there I dialed kuya’s number, according to him may dinaanan lang daw siya kaya siya late. Ano na naman kaya nag bagong kalokohan ni kuya? Arrgh. He’s so makulet.
“Mmy… Papunta na daw, may dinaanan lang.”
Everyone is busy at the main cottage, lahat sila nagpe-prepare for the little celebration. If I am not mistaken nanalo yata sa election si Tito Mike, pinsan ni Mommy. Ano bay an ang hilig ng pamilya namen sa gulo. Why do people love complications?
I walk towards the beach as I inhale the fresh scent of nature. How I love province. No pollution, no noises just my peaceful life. I felt the breeze touch my shoulders. Wow. Ang lamig naman dito. I am wearing bikinis lang kase eh. Di naman ganun ka-conservative si Mom at Dad basta alam nila na sakto lang. Good girl naman ako eh.

“Jill come inside we will formally start the party and andito na rin ang kuya mo” I heard mom shouting from the beach house.
As I enter the house I was shocked na medyo dumami ng konti yung mga tao, I thought kase family gathering lang ‘to. Anobayan.
“Pare yan na ba si Gillian? Aba iha dalaga ka na and you are very lovely.”
“Thanks po tito.” I smiled timidly. I am not really use to compliments. I hate it when people say I’m beautiful. Arggh. Di ko alam kung anong sasabihin ko.
“Dad, I’ll go first pupuntahan ko po si kuya na-miss ko na siya eh.”
“Anak kaninang umaga lang nakita mo ang kuya mo.”
“Dad naman eh.” Tapos nag-pout pa ako sakanya. I really love my dad. Haha. Selos nanaman si kuya kakampi ko kase lagi si Dad eh. Hahaha.
Inikot ko yung buong cottage but I couldn’t find kuya. Where on earth are you na ba kuya? To my surprise may nahagip ang mata ko na silhouette dun sa may beach kaya nilapitan ko agad. Si kuya talaga.
“Kuya!”
“Jill?” Humarap saaken si kuya ng matamlay and nagulat ako when I saw him smoking. Since when did he start smoking?
“Kuya why are you smoking?” I asked him with my utmost sincerity.
“None of your business Jill.” He is so cold to me that I don’t want to believe if this is the real him.
“Sorry kuya, I’m such a nosy brat.” I was about to leave him when he called my name. Syempre naman iiwan ko na nakakatakot na kaya si kuya sabihin pa niya pinakekealaman ko nanaman siya.
“Oh?”
“Dito ka nga.” Tapos inakbayan niya ako and I felt na may tumulong luha galling sa mata niya. Seriously? Ashton Sta. Cruz the black ship of our family is crying? This is absurd.
I decided not to ask him na lang. Maybe it’s better if I’ll just let him lean on my shoulders. Kuya is really mysterious.

“Ikaw na naman?! What the fuck are you doing here?!” Oh my gosh. The heaven is really testing my patience. I can’t believe this. Sobra naman ata sa coincidence. How come he’s also here in Bicol with us? Is he a fucking stalker?
“Yung butas ng ilong mo lumalake.” Not caring about my not so good welcome to him he chuckled. What did he say? Lumalaki ang butas ng ilong ko? Aish. This guy is really a pain in the arse.
“Seriously Mr. whoever jerk you are, what are you doing here and who the hell are you?”
“At last, you asked my name. I’m Charles Castro.” Tapos nag-bow pa siya. He’s insane. I hate him. How can he make fun of me, it’s not like I’m a part of the royal family.
“Okay, Mr. Castro.” I paused to inhale, a deep one. “What are you doing here? Why are you following me? Are you a killer that was sent by the enemies of our family? Can you please explain?” I asked him really annoyed.
“Oh that was harsh of you. Are you nuts? I’m not a killer Jill and if you’re asking who am I, well… I might be your future boyfriend.” Then he gave me a lopsided grin.
“Yeah right. You might be. In your dreams bastard!” Then I left him. Jizz it’s super lamig kaya. We’re here at the beach and it’s already 15 past midnight. It’s just that I can’t sleep that’s why I got here.
“Ooopps. Where are you going?”
“You know what if you aren’t really handsome, I might think you’re a rapist.”
“So you find me handsome?”
“Shut up.”
I am literally hugging myself now. Naman! Ang lamig kase, tapos may jerk pa na parang dog na sunud ng sunod saken. Kung i-report ko na kaya to ng harassment and stalking? Aish.
I felt a pair of hands encircled my shoulder, I was about to scream when I remembered na may kasama pala ako. He shifted his other arm on my waits hugging me real tight, one hand on my shoulder and the other hand on my waist.
“Castro, what are you doing?”
“Giving you my warmth?” He asked innocently.
“Pervert.”
“My middle name is pervert.” He chuckeled Then he pulled my waist closer to him. Gosh. I can feel that his fingers are long. OMG. That is so attractive. One of my conditions to like a guy is if he has long fingers. Aish. Why am I even thinking about this.
“Oh ba’t namumula ka?”
“Because it’s cold. Stupid.” I’m just telling the truth. Hands up in the air.
Minutes passed and none of us is talking. I’m a bit sleepy an rin. Maybe malapit ng mag one in the morning. Patay talaga ako kay dad pag nalaman niyang lumabas ako ng room and worst my kasama akong stranger. Isn’t odd that I feel comfortable with someone who I don’t even know. This is funny.
“Seriously, who are you?” I spoke breaking the silence.
“I’m Charles Castro.” He answered casually.
“You know that’s not what I meant, please stop annoying me and why are you following me? This is too much.”
“Okay, I’m annoying you because your reactions are really cute.” I blushed on what he said and I struggle to hide my face from him. Baka asarin na naman niya ako. Di lang naman talaga ako sanay sa mga compliments eh. “Following, stalking, whatever you call it. I don’t know. Why do I even follow you? Do I look insane now?”
“You’re a loon.” I said trying to hide my amusement.
“Pwede namang crazy na lang eh bakit loon pa?”
“You don’t care. Aish.”
“You’re attractive, sexy, hot, beautiful, and gorgeous maybe those are the reasons why I’m following you and you’re different you are too naïve not to even notice that I am attracted to you.” He spoke out of nowhere.
“Is that even possible? We just met like one week ago.”
“Romeo fell in love to Juliet in just one glance, that could also happen to me.”
“You’re impulsive.”
“I am not, I just know what I feel.”
“Tss. Shut up. How can you say those words to me? Don’t you know how embarrassing it is to hear compliments?”
“Maraming babae diyan na gustong-gusto makarinig ng mga ganyang salita galling saken tapos ikaw sasabihin mo lang saaken na wag kong sabihin sayo yan. You really are innocent.”
“I am not innocent! I’ve read Fifty Shades of Grey! How can you say I’m innocent!?”
“You’re innocent. Haha.” Then he pinched my cheeks slightly. Arrgh. Kawawa naman yung cheeks ko lagi na lang kinukurot. Para naman akong bata nito eh.

“Ano?”
“Can I check your hands? Your fingers are really sexy and long.”
He chuckled. “Here” I noticed that he always chuckle which is bagay naman sakanya. I reach for his hand and stared at his fingers. I know I look stupid but I really can’t help it. His hands are attractive.
“You’re drooling.”
“I’m not!” I hissed angrily at him and I forcefully push his hands back to him. Serves him right.
We stoped walking for a while at umupo sa may sand ng beach just like kanina nakahawak pa rin yung kamay niya sa waist ko. It’s amazing how I perfectly fit on his arms. Eh ang taba ko na nga eh.
Pout.
“Di ka ba takot?”
“Saan?”
“Saaken” Who knows I might be a killer or a kidnapper.”
“You just told me that you’re not a killer. Duh.” Without noticing he ruffled my hair. He is so like my kuya.
“But Jill, I’m serious I like you even if you’re not good at kissing.”
“Liar! I am not a bad kisser! How dare you!”
“Oh bakit ang defensive mo? Hahaha.”
Bad kisser ba talaga ako? Nakakahiya!

“I can be your teacher. I’ll teach you how to kiss with passion.” He wink suggestively. Are we playing seducing games here? I hope not. I might lose.
“Eww! You Per – “
I was cut as he claimed my lips. His hands snaking on the nape of my neck. I can feel his warm breaths in my lips. The kiss lasted for like ten seconds and when he pulled from it he gave me his maddening lopsided grin.
“Tsk.”That was all I managed to say. Cause’ I know little by little I’m losing my sanity with this stranger.
