Chapter 38: Moving and Surprises

Ari's POV

"Ronnie." I said as I was looking through color schemes and furniture catalogs.

"Yes babe?" He asked, pausing the TV.

"I think we should tell Mason about the move." It's been a week since we've been home and so far, only Ronnie and I know about the new house. We haven't told anybody else.

"Okay, MASON!" Ronnie called. Soon, Mason came running in.

"Yes?"

"Can you close the door and come up here with us?" He nodded and closed the door, jumping onto the bed. I grabbed him and sat him on my lap, running my fingers through his hair. "So, Mason. I just wanted to have a talk with you. You know how daddy and I got married?" Mason nodded. "Well, we're officially a family now so we kind of want to make it more official."

"What do you mean?"

"Well-"

"What your mom's trying to say is I bought us a new house." Ronnie said. I turned my head and glared at him and he shrugged.

"Really?" He asked, tears forming in his eyes.

"Yeah, what do you think?" He shook his head.

"I don't want to move mommy, I like living here!" He cried, wrapping his arms around my neck. "I don't wanna leave, I like living with Uncle Jacky and Uncle Ryan and Uncle Ron and Uncle Derek, please don't make us move mommy! We're all one big family, right?"

"Mason, we're going to be right down the street from this house, you'll always see the guys."

"Yeah, and I'll take you to concerts and the studio as much as possible." Ronnie said.

"Look, we'll go to the house tomorrow and you can pick your room, it's a really nice house Mason, you'll love it."

"Okay, I'm not going to move unless I like it." He pouted.

"Okay, then let's go right now! Sound good?" He nodded. "Okay, go get your shoes on, but this is our little secret, all right?" He jumped off the bed with another nod, running down the stairs.

"Come on Ronnie, let's go." I said, swinging my legs over the side of the bed. I just really wanted to hurry up and tell everyone else. He groaned, getting off the bed, We pulled on our shoes and Ronnie went down to Mason while I went to go get Macy who was messing around in her room. I picked her up and carried her down the stairs.

"We'll be back!" I called, following Ronnie and Mason out the door. I got the kids strapped into the car while Ronnie started it up. I climbed in and we drove to the house, Ronnie parking in the driveway. I let Mason run up to the door with Ronnie while I got Macy up. I walked up to the door when I heard Mason.

"WOW!" I heard Mason yell. I smiled, walking into the house. I saw Mason running everywhere and soon into the backyard.

"Do you like it Mason?" I asked and he nodded. "Okay, let's go upstairs and I want you to show me which room you want." I said, pulling out a pad of paper from my purse. Mason started up the stairs, Ronnie and I following him. He ran around the hall until he pointed at a door.

"Okay Mason." I said, writing his name down on a sheet of paper and ripping it out. I pulled tape out as well and ripped off a piece, sticking it to the paper. "Go tape it on your door, have daddy lift you." He ran over to his door and Ronnie lifted him up so he could put the paper on the door.

"Now pick out what room you want to be your toy room." I said, scribbling 'toy' on another paper. He ran up to the room and did the same thing. "Now, pick out Macy's room for her." He nodded and we did the same thing. We finished up and drove back to the house.

"So, what do you think Mason?" I asked, unstrapping him and taking him out of the car. "Are you okay with moving?" He nodded.

"Good." I smiled, walking into the house with him. "EVERYONE GET YOUR BUTTS DOWN HERE!" I demanded, placing Macy in her playpen. Everyone eventually made their way to the couches and I sat down next to Ronnie.

"So, we have some news." I said, looking around at everyone.

"RONNIE'S PREGNANT!" Ryan yelled causing everyone to look at him. "Fine, fine, then, you're pregnant?" He tried again.

"Wrong and wrong. When we came home last week, Ronnie let me see the new house he bought for us." Everyone's jaws dropped.

"So, you guys are moving out?" Jacky asked. We both nodded.

"When?" Ryan asked.

"We don't know but we want to be moved out within two months. We're going to paint before we move furniture in."

"Well I'm going to miss you sis." Jacky said with a smile.

"I'll miss you too Jacky, I'll miss you all but we're just down the street, not very far at all."

"I WANT TO SEE THIS HOUSE!" Ryan declared.

"We'll take you guys down there tomorrow." I said with a smile and they agreed.

*One Week Later*

"Ronnie!" I squealed as he splashed paint on me. I looked over to see him doubled over with laughter. We showed everyone the house and they loved it. We had finally got our paint and decided to start with the downstairs first. The guys were watching the kids and we were going to let Mason help paint his room.

I continued to paint and all of a sudden, felt like I had to throw up. I dropped my roller and sprinted to the bathroom, hanging my head over the toilet.

"You okay?" Ronnie asked, coming next to me and holding my hair back.

"I'm fine, it's probably just the paint fumes." I said, standing up and washing out my mouth.

"Here." He said, running out of the bathroom and back in, returning with a mask. I thanked him and strapped it on, going back to painting. After I threw up a couple more times, we decided to head back home and I went straight to bed, not feeling good at all.

*One Week Later*

I had been sick the entire week and Ronnie and the guys were over at the house painting. Today, I had a doctor's appointment and Ronnie was driving me because I still didn't feel very good. He pulled into the parking lot and we walked in together. He went to go find a seat while I checked myself in. I sat down next to Ronnie and grabbed his hand, resting my head on his shoulder.

"What if something's really wrong with me Ronnie?"

"I bet it's just a stomach bug, don't get too worried." He said, kissing the top of my head.

"Arianna Radke?" A nurse called five minutes later. I stood up and pulled Ronnie with me, the nurse leading us to a room. I walked in and sat on the table, waiting for the doctor to come in. He came in about five minutes later and sat down in front of me.

"So, Ari, what seems to be the problem?"

"For the past week, I've been throwing up. I've also just felt really sick and cramping and everything has just been horrible. I've never felt this bad. When I first threw up, I thought it was just paint fumes because I was painting but that was at the beginning of the week." I said, explaining a few more symptoms as well.

"Okay, we'll do a few tests on you and see what's going on." He said with a smile, rolling over to a counter in the room. They did a few tests on me and the doctor came in a but later.

"Okay, for this last test, I'm going to need you to lay down and lift up your shirt a bit." He said as the nurse rolled in an ultrasound machine, shit. I laid down and lifted my shirt up, curling my toes as he squirted the gel onto my stomach. I looked at Ronnie and he had a worried look on his face, scooting closer to the table and grabbing my hand. The doctor moved the machine around my flat stomach looking on the screen.

"Well Mrs. Radke, it looks like I know why you're so sick. You're four weeks pregnant!" He exclaimed. My jaw dropped.

"W-What?" He nodded, continuing to move the machine on my stomach,

"There's the baby and there's the heartbeat."

"Oh my God." I heard Ronnie say as the doctor smiled and turned the machine off. He printed out a picture for us, wiped off my stomach and left. I was frozen, not knowing what to think.

"W-Wow, y-you're pregnant."

"Oh my God." I said, buring my face in my hands. "Damnit Ronnie! I thought we were careful!" I exclaimed, slapping his arm.

"We were! He said four weeks so we must have forgot to use a condom on our honeymoon!" Ronnie exclaimed. I groaned. "Ari, this is great! Another kid!"

"What about when you go on tour Ronnie! I could barley handle two! What am I going to do with three?"

"Look, most of the times when I go on tour, Mason will be in school so for a couple hours a day, you have only two kids to watch. I'm sure Logan will come over and help you, she's your best friend Ari!" I sighed. "You can't tell me that you're not happy about having another kid." He smiled, pecking my lips.

"I mean I am just..." I sighed. "It's just going to take a little getting used to, three kids, wow. You know what this means, correct?"

"Umm, three kids?"

"I can't paint or lift heavy things."

"Oh fuck." Ronnie said, a wave of realization washing over his face. "It's okay, I can get the guys to help me." He smiled. "Come on, let's get home." He said, allowing me to jump off. He grabbed my hand and I checked myself out, both of us walking out to the car.

"Ronnie, I think I want to tell Mason first and then everyone, but in a bit, not today."

"Deal." He smiled, kissing my lips.
