~Jacob's POV

"What do you mean you're closed?! It's Friday night!" Ray Ray exclaimed to the manager of the nearest strip club we could find. Unfortunately, it wasn't open for business tonight.

"We have some technical issues to take care of tonight, sorry fellas. Everything should be up and running again next week." Bored and with no place to go, Ray Ray and I got back in the car.

"Fuck, I was ready to get twerked on by some Big Booty Judy, man. Brought my ones and everything." Ray Ray whined, putting his key into the ignition and pulling out of the parking lot. I stifled a laugh at his sorrow, but it was relatable. I was looking forward to having a good night too.

"I mean, we don't have to go home, Ray Ray." I pointed out. "It's Los Angeles, I'm sure there's another club right around the corner." And sure enough, as soon as Ray Ray turned the corner, we were damn near blinded with the illuminated sign of Red, the nightclub we used to sneak into when we were teens. Well, technically we didn't sneak. We would get in through Diggy Simmons, who was already famous and had the power to get us in through his name. We didn't need that anymore, obviously. But this club brings back too many bad memories that I didn't feel like revisiting.

Before I could even get a word out, Ray Ray had already parked the car, hopped out, and was on his way in. It wasn't till now that I realized this was our first time going out without bodyguards, or any type of security. It felt weird, but I liked it. I enjoyed feeling like a normal human again.

Well, until we walked inside.

We barely took two steps in when the DJ announced our presence. Ray Ray, being the fame-hungry guy he is, soaked up all the praise that was being sent our way through cheers, while I made a beeline for the bar.

I sat down, and ordered a shot of vodka. I didn't really know where Ray Ray was, but I decided to just let him do his thing. I downed my first shot and ordered another soon after.

"Keep a running tab, I have a feeling I'll be having a few more," I informed the bartender.

"Tab? For Mindless Behavior? Hell no, it's on the house." She winked, pouring my drink. I have to admit, that was one of the benefits I'll miss if Mindless Behavior doesn't get signed again. We rarely had to pay for a thing when we went out, which really didn't make much sense considering we made so much.

She slid my drink across the counter before looking me up and down. "Shouldn't you be in V.I.P?" She scrunched her eyebrows in confusion.

I shrugged. "Not really feeling all that tonight, yanno?"

Uber Everywhere began, and a smile came to face as I recalled Ray Ray's goofy ass dancing to this song the night before we left Atlantic. He was wearing socks on the wooden floor and slid, busting his ass. I turned to face the dance floor, hoping to spot him attempting to do the same dance. I didn't find him, but what I did find made me almost choke on the small amount of alcohol I swallowed from the shot glass.

~Aliyah's POV

I tried to enjoy myself after Ray Ray and Jacob's arrival, but it was irritating hearing someone talking about them or swooning over them every five seconds. Call me a hater, but I was not longer having fun with them there, and Jayden noticed quick. I felt like an idiot for letting them take away from the night that was supposed to belong to Jayden and I. It shouldn't bother me, and yet, here I am rolling my eyes so far back they just might get stuck back there.

"You okay?" He asked, his eyebrows knitted.

"...No, not really." I sigh. I don't want to ruin the night for Jayden, but it's become a nuisance.

"It's okay. We can just hit up a bar or something..alright?" He took my hand and we made our way off of the dance floor and to the door when we were interrupted by a certain someone's slurred voice.

"Aw, leaving so soon?" I turned around, and there Jacob was, sitting at the bar with some groupie ho. She was lightskinned, with long blonde weave, big breasts that nearly fell out of her dress, and pink acrylic nails that were unnecessarily long.

"Yeah, it got dull after a while..." I responded, not bothering to make eye contact. Even with his Ray Ban shades on, I could feel his eyes as he traveled from Jayden to me.

"Dull? You sure it isn't because you have an early shift tomorrow at Walmart?" He smirks. I roll my eyes, not letting his petty comment get to me. Sure, it hurt, but shit. It takes two to tango. I felt Jayden's grip on my hand tighten but I wasn't going to just walk away and let Jacob disrespect me.

"Actually no, I work afternoon shifts. What about you? Does Mindless Behavior work in the morning or after- oh wait..." I sarcastically grin at the woman sitting next to him. "Don't waste your time honey, they just went broke." The flirty smile that she was using to get with Jacob had washed off her face instantly.

"Wait...you're broke?" Jacob's jaw dropped, and I can't deny that that wasn't a low blow, but I was just getting started.

"I'm not broke, she's lying." Jacob assured her.

"Ali, let's just go." Jayden keeps trying to pull me away but I'm not having it.

"Then why aren't you in V.I.P, pal?" Jacob's cheeks are turning bright red as the girl that was sitting next to him gave him a sympathetic smile as she got up and walked away.

"Really, Aliyah?" He chided. I innocently shrugged my shoulders.
"You started it."

"Whatever. You can leave now, I heard there's a cleanup in aisle 3 anyways." He shot back.

"Already took care of it. It was your career." I winked before following Jayden outside to his car. I couldn't stop laughing at how extremely petty Jacob was, and how he thought he could out-petty me. Give me a break.

"Was that really necessary?" Jayden angrily questioned as we got in his car.

"Uh, yeah. It was. He disrespected me and I wasn't having it." I replied as I put my seatbelt on.

"The whole reason we're leaving is because he's here...you couldn't just walk away? You had to entertain him and his stupid remarks, huh?"

"Why are you so upset?" I asked, confused. This had nothing to do with Jayden, so I don't see why he thinks he has the right to be salty with me.

Despite it being dark outside and in the car, I could still see his jaw clenched. "I'm fine. I think I just need to go home..." he announced.

"Okay..." The rest of the ride was silent as he drove me back to my place. I didn't get what about Jacob's stupid comments was bothering Jayden so much, especially if they didn't bother me?

"Thanks for the night out, Jay. Goodnight." I kissed his cheek before exiting his car.

"Night," he grumbled as I shut his car door. I rolled my eyes at his temper tantrum as I made my way up to the apartment, kicking my shoes off once I got in.

~Jacob's POV

I watched as Aliyah left the club with Jayden, wondering what she was doing here with him. Were they together?

No, that couldn't be it. If Aliyah was really Jayden's girl he would've came at me for what I said to her, not stand there like a little puppy dog. That's probably what it is. He's her puppy dog.

He'll just do whatever she wants him to, because he has feelings for her, and she was obviously too busy with Capitol to care. That was easy. I chuckled to myself at their situation as I drank my fourth shot when Ray Ray sat down next to me, panting.

"Man, the girls in here are fine as hell! What are you doin' up here?!" He exclaimed, and for once, he's right. What was I doing up here by my lonesome? I'm Jacob "Princeton" Perez, dammit. Aliyah's name shouldn't even ring a bell. Fuck her and her crack-head boyfriend.

I walked down to the dance floor with Ray, scooping up the first piece of ass that came my way. We came out for a good night, and we were gonna get it, whether Aliyah was here or not.
