"Na In!" I heard someone shout from behind me.
I turned around to find that Jeongguk was running towards me.
What was he doing here?
To see how much humiliation I just went through?
"Don't come here," I said to him. "I don't know how to face you right now."
"Na In stop!" He shouted from behind me.
"No you stop!" I shouted back.
My heart was aching.
I didn't know how to face Jeongguk.
I was mad at the fact that he knew this all along and never told me.
But I was also feeling humiliated at how stupid I was for sticking by Yoongi's side for all that time.
"Stop it Na In!" He shouted as he turned me around. "Get a hold of yourself!"
"How can I?" I screamed, tears pouring down my shattered face.
"You know it's not worth crying for him!" He yelled. "Stop crying over someone who doesn't treat you like human!"
Everything he said was right.
I shouldn't be crying over something like this.
I shouldn't be crying over Yoongi.
But even so,
I couldn't stop crying.
Jeongguk stared at my tearful eyes, looking at me with compassion.
"It hurts me seeing you like this, you know that right?" He whispered as he pulled me in for a hug.
I stared up into his eyes,
my vision still blurry from the tears falling down.
The look in his eyes looked just as painful as the emotions clogging up my heart.
"Jeongguk, why are you doing this?" I asked him.
"Come on, I'll take you home." He said.
"But why are you doing this?" I continued to ask him.
"Na In, stop." Jeongguk sternly said. "Let's go back now."
By then, I had stopped crying.
Jeongguk being by my side made everything feel so much better.
That night, was one of the most heartbreaking nights of my life, but also the day that made me realize something important.
That I was beginning to love Jeon Jeongguk.
