"Well, that was certainly fun." Jacob said as we ran through the crowd of people and I couldn't help but smile at his words, admitting to myself that it was indeed fun.

"I don't think the fun is over just yet Jacob, we still have Rexford Kaylock to deal with and something tells me that he won't be alone. In fact, wouldn't he be around where the Blighters reside in Whitechapel, you know like a stronghold?" I said.

"A stronghold huh? Looks like that would be our next destination." Before I could say anything else, someone roughly barged into my shoulder, catching me off guard and nearly sent me tumbling to the ground if it wasn't for Jacob catching me by wrapping his arms around my waist. "Are you alright?" I could hear the concern in his voice and replied,

"I'm alright. Geez, don't people know that when you barge into others, they could at least have the decency to apologise?" I lowered my arms onto my robe, only to realise that my pocket was empty. "Bloody hell, not again." I said as I let out a groan.

"What happened?" Jacob asked.

"Seems like I've been robbed once again." Before anything else was said, I looked around and caught a glance of someone running around the corner. I immediately took off after him, determined to get my money back. I pushed people out of the way, while keeping my eye on the thief. However, after a few moments of chasing him, I ended up losing sight of him due to the amount of people who were in my way and I let out a sigh. 'This is the second time I was robbed and the thief got away. Why can't they steal from someone else, or better yet not steal at all?' Not long later, I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Jacob standing there.

"Did you manage to get your money back love?" He said and all I did was shake my head.

"It would seem that he got away. Damn it, this is the second time I got robbed and the damn bastard got away."

"When was the other time you got robbed?"

"When I first arrived to London this little boy had taken my money from me. I chased him, only to end up in the Blighters territory, where four guys were hanging around."

"Hold on, four Blighters?"

"Yeah, and I killed each one of them. Anyway, once they were dead, someone behind me spoke up, saying how I possess quite the skill. I asked him who he was, and he said that his name is Henry Green."

"And then you two made your way back to his shop, where Evie and I were waiting for him?"

"Well, we talked for a bit first, and then we made our way back to his shop." Before anything else was said, I noticed Evie behind Jacob, walking up to us.

"There you two are, I've been looking for you." She said as she approached us.

"Yeah, sorry about that." I said as I rubbed the back of my neck.

"What happened?"

"Some bastard happened to barge into me, taking my money from my pocket as he did so. As soon as I noticed, I tried to catch him, only to end up losing him because of the bustling crowd of people. This is the second time this has happened; it's making me mad." My fists were clenched as I finished talking.

'Look love, why don't you take down some Blighters to deal with your anger? We are going to their stronghold here in Whitechapel, aren't we?" Jacob said as he looked towards his sister as he finished speaking.

"I suppose. I mean, the sooner we get this over with, the better right?" Evie said and I could see a smile on Jacob's face. 'He's obviously looking forward to another fight.' I thought.

"Well then, what are we waiting for?" I said. Evie and Jacob looked at each other, nodded and then the three of us walked off in search of the stronghold.

Time skip

After walking around for some time, we came across an area with a few broken buildings as well as the Blighters symbol painted on the wall. 'This is obviously the place.' Without saying a word to the twins, I climbed the closest building. They both saw what I was doing and followed right behind me. Once at the top, I activated my eagle vision and looked around.

"There are quite a few Blighters we need to take out if we want to rid this stronghold of them." I said as I deactivated my eagle vision.

"How many did you see exactly (Name)?" Evie asked.

"There are a total of ten in total. One of them is hiding in one of the damaged buildings, one happens to be a lookout and another one is a sniper. I also happened to see two people in green who are being guarded."

"They must be the Clinkers Greenie mentioned." Jacob said.

"Who are the Clinkers?"

"The gang who tried to take out the Blighters, though they've been very unsuccessful."

"Well, one of them is being guarded by two Blighters, while the other is only being guarded by one." Not long after, I saw a smile appear on Jacob's face. Before I could say anything, Evie spoke up and said,

"Jacob no."

"Come on Evie, this is our chance to step in and eliminate the Blighters. All we need to do is recruit those who are willing to fight with us, create our own gang call The Rooks."

"Jacob," Before Evie could say more, I spoke up and said,

"You know, he's onto something here. think about it, the Blighters have terrorised many people and I'm sure most of the people want to fight back and show the Blighters that they're not afraid to stand up for themselves. Starting a gang to rival another isn't such a bad idea."

"See, (Name) agrees with me." Jacob said and I couldn't help but hear the smug tone in his voice.

"Let's just go and get rid of the Blighters." Evie said and I happen to have detected a hint of defeat in her voice.

"I'll go and deal with the lookout." The twins just nodded their heads and I jumped off the building, landing onto the next and then the one after that, keeping an eye on the lookout and making sure that he doesn't spot me and alert the others. I ran along each building, eventually finding myself balancing on the rope that's connected from one building to the other. I looked around and locked my sights on the lookout, noticing that he was with another Blighter. I flicked my wrist and jumped down, landing on the lookout, knocking the breath out of him. Before the other could say another, I plunged my hidden blade deep within his torso, watching as he fell to the ground and bled out. Then, I plunged my blade deep within the lookout's neck, the sound of him choking on his blood was the only thing I heard before his eyes rolled to the back of his head as he took his last breath. I looked around and caught a glimpse of a Blighter in the building. Before she could notice me, I got up from the ground and ran into the building, making sure my hood was up and began sneaking up the stairs, making sure not to make any sounds. A few moments later, I was up the stairs and saw the Blighter, who happened to be looking out the window. I slowly snuck up behind her.

"What the bloody hell happened down there?" She said and just as she turned around, only to run into me.

"They met my blade, just like you will." Before anything else could happen, I covered her mouth and plunged my blade into her stomach, watching as she fell to the ground and bled out, slowly losing her life. I turned around and made my way out the building, activating my eagle vision to see if there are any enemies near me. As I looked around, I noticed the silhouette of Jacob, who jumped down from the broken fence and double assassinated the Blighters who were guarding the Clinker. 'He's fine.' I thought as I looked around once again, this time catching the silhouette of Evie, who assassinated the other Blighter who was guarding the other clinker. 'Six down, four to go.' I looked around once more and noticed that I was close to the sniper. I deactivated my eagle vision, climbed out of the building, jumped onto another building and looked over the edge, noticing that the sniper was only a few meters below me, her back facing towards me. Just as I was about to jump down and assassinate her, she let out a gasp and said,

"What the bloody hell." Then, she turned around and saw me standing on the building. I had a look of confusion on my face as I wondered how she had spotted me, since I was being so quiet. Not long after, I noticed that the sun was shining right behind me, casting my shadow on the ground below.

"Damn it." I muttered out just as I dodged an incoming bullet and quickly jumped down from the building, landing near the Blighter. Once my feet were on the ground, I pulled out my cane sword and prepared myself for a fight. She began to pull back the rifle and just before she could be prepared, I swung my weapon straight at her head, only for her to dodge and parry, putting just enough strength behind her hit that sent me stumbling a few steps back. It was only for a few seconds that my guard was lowered, but that was all it took for her to hit me once again, this time it was aimed at my torso, knocking the breath out of me. Just as I was trying to recover, she hit me once more, sending me tumbling to the floor. I groaned in pain as I held my stomach, knowing that it would cause me trouble later on. I looked up and, just before she could kill me, she suddenly let out a gasp and fell to the ground, a pool of blood beginning to surround her.

"You alright?" A voice spoke as they held out their hand. My eyes travelled from their arm up to their face and saw a pair of familiar brown eyes looking at me with a hint of concern.

"Thank you Jacob." I said as I grabbed his hand. He helped me off the ground. "I would probably be dead if it weren't for you."

"What happened anyway?

"My guard was lowered for only a few seconds, but that was all it took for her to knock me down. Anyway, what about the others? Are they dead?"

"Yeah, Evie and I dealt with them. Come on, let's go find her." I just nodded my head and we both went off in search of Evie. It didn't take long to find her as she was with the two clinkers who were saved. One of them had a piece of wood burning and he walked up to the flag, that had the Blighter's symbol on it, and burnt it, indicating that this is no longer their territory.

"Thank you so much for saving us." One of the clinkers said.

"It's no problem." I replied.

"You know," Jacob began to say and I had a slight idea on where he was going with this. "if you want to take down the Blighters, join our gang, The Rooks, and help us take back London."

"Jacob," Evie said.

"Come on Evie, this is our chance to step in and stop the Blighters."

"That sounds like a great idea." One of the Clinkers said before Evie could say anything else. "My buddy and I will join your gang."

"Great. My name is Jacob Frye and this is my sister, Evie." Jacob said as he pointed to Evie. Then he pointed to me, "And finally, this is (Name)." Before anything else was said, a voice interrupted us.
