Those were only some of the messages from today. He's been trying to talk to me all week, but I'm not having it. I refused to get beaten up again for him.
After school he tried to talk to me, but I pretty much ran from him. It's breaking my heart. I really like Tyler.
"Reina!" I heard my mom yell from downstairs.
I quickly got up to see what she was calling me for. As I was halfway down the stairs I saw Tyler standing at the door. He frowned when he saw my face.
My mom knew what happened and it took a lot of begging to make her not go up to the school. I made her cover my face with make up to hide the scratches, bruises, and noticeable black eye.
"Reina!" My mom snapped me from my daydream.
"M-ma'am." I looked down at the ground.
"This young man came to see you." She smiled. I knew exactly why she was.
"O-okay." My eyes remained on the ground.
She gestured for him to follow me up to my room.
"Keep your door open." She said sternly as we walked up the stairs.
I still closed the door behind Tyler when he walked in. I sat on my bed, not bothering to say anything to him.
"So you not going to talk to me?" He spoke, obviously annoyed by the silence.
I still said nothing.
"Look at me." He told me with so much athourity.
My eyes remained where they were, on the ground.
His hand grabbed me by my chin, forcing me to look up at him.
"Who did this to you?" He asked in a softer tone. His eyes scanned over my face.
I pushed his hand away, not responding. It was none of his business anyway.
"Reina, I'm not going to ask you again. Who the fuck did this to you?" He began getting agitated with my silence.
"A-Angel." I finally admitted.
I glanced up at him to see him clench his jaw with his face turning red from anger. He looked down at me and his face softened.
"I'm sorry." He apologized, bending down to hug me, but I pushed him away.
"I-I ca-can't b-be a-around...you." I told him, quoting what Angel said.
"Who told you that?!" The volume of his voice made me flinch."I'm sorry, baby girl."
"A-Angel." I mumbled.
"Fuck her! The hell are you listening to that bitch for?!" He yelled.
I started crying, "I-I'm so-sorry, j-just st-stop y-y-yelling."
I hate when people yell at me. It scares me.
"No, no. I'm sorry." He sat next to me, pulling me onto his lap.
"I-I'm j-just s-scared, T-Ty." I laid my head on his chest, still crying.
"I know, stop crying." He wiped the tears on my face with his thumb. "I'll handle it."

I walked through the main entrance of the school hand in hand with Reina. I'll be so glad when I can make her mine. It's just not the right time yet.
I'm not ashamed of her. What is there to be ashamed of when you have a beautiful girl that stunts on all these basic hoes. People were staring at us, and I guess it was making Reina uncomfortable because she tried to slip her hand from mine.
But I kept a hold on her hand.
"Don't do it. Let them stare." I told her.
I walked up to Angel and she immediately shot Reina an evil glare. Reina slightly moved behind me.
"I thought I told you to stay away from him, you dumb bitch." Angel spat at Reina.
I let go of her hand and grabbed Angel by her arm, slamming her against the locker. The hallway got quiet.
I'm not the type to put my hands on females, but she was really getting to fresh with Reina. What kind of nigga would I be if I let Angel talk about her in front of me?
"Watch you're fucking mouth when you're talking to her. Next time you and you're little friends touch her, I'll beat your asses myself." I growled.
"Why you worried about her? I bet you I can do much more than she can." She smirked, licking her lips at me.
"That's the thing. She doesn't have to open her legs like automatic doors to gain my intrest. You were nothing, but a easy freshman who had no problem getting on her knees for the whole basketball team." I laughed in her face, making her smirk dissappear.
"But Tyler-"
"Stay away from me and mines." I let go of her, and walked away with my arm around Reina's waist.
I don't know what this girl is doing to me, but I like it. Everything about her is just so perfect. She has no imperfections in my eyes.

"Demitri, can you read this last part for me?" My therapist asked, holding the dreadful book in front of me.
"I...ma-"
"Wanted." She cut me off.
I rolled my eyes, "I...wanted....you...to c-"
"See." She corrected me. "Start over and take your time."
I'm taking all the time in the world. How much slower you want me to talk, bitch?
"I....m--wanted...you...to...see...m--what....real....courage...is...in-in....." I looked up at her.
"Instead."

"That's a G, Demitri." She politely spoke.
I huffed, pulling on my hair. It's I habit of mines when I'm frustrated. I really hated doing this.
"Getting....the...ib-"
"That's a D."
"Idea...that...courage is a....w--man m--with a...gun in...his hand." I finished the last part of the page.
"Good. You did much better today, I'll see you next week." My therapist said.
I quickly got up, and left her office. As my mom and I were leaving I saw Reina getting off the elevator with her mom. Her eyes widened at me before she quickly looked away.
Our moms exchanged a few words, but I kept quiet. She better keep her mouth shut.
I don't need anyone finding out I'm dyslexic.
