Chapter 15
Loving His Demons
Wyatt's POV
July 24th (9 weeks and 6 days)
"Babeee don't go" David whined and I roll my eyes in annoyance.
"I'll be gone for 1 maybe 2 hours I'm just going out to eat with Evan" I tell him and he groans.
"Why would you want to go out Evan?" He questions.
"Uh because he was nice to me and protected me when I was stripping and I'd like to consider him a friend." I state.
"Well I don't want you to leave me for him" he says and I groan
"Please David I'm not going to leave you but you're suffocating me! It's like wherever I am there you are up my ass! I need some space!" I yell out in frustration
"Space." He mumbles. "You're right space. I um I'll leave you alone for awhile" he says and gets up.
"Babe stop I didn't mean it like that. I love being with you. It's just some times you're a bit too much for me" I say softly
"You need space. It's fine totally fine I'll leave you alone" he says and gets up kisses my forehead and leaves. I frown but finish getting ready.
(Wyatt's Outfit)
I text Brayden after I finish getting ready.
Me: Hey me and David got into a tiny argument make sure he's okay and doesn't do anything stupid
Brayden: Sure thing what happened?
Me: He's just suffocating me I wanted to hangout with a friend and he didn't want that so out of frustration I said he was suffocating me and he took it the wrong way and now he says he's gonna leave me alone.
Brayden: I see. Are you coming to his place when your done?
Me: Yeah that was the plan I just need an hour or two away from him it's really not a big deal I love being with him but sometimes he's just too much to handle and I need a break I'm not used to all this attention.
Brayden: I understand go out and have fun I'll watch him
Me: Thank you so much
Brayden: No problem
I sigh and text David real quick
Me: You mean the world to me. I hope you know that. I'll see you in a few hours
After I finish texting him I grab my keys and wallet and head out of my apartment. I lock my door walk down the stairs and into the parking lot. I get into my car and take the 5 minute drive to the cafe I am meeting Evan at.
I get out of the car once I am there and head into the cafe I see Evan sitting at a booth so I walk over and sit across from him
"Hey! How are you? You look so good!" He says and I smile
"Thanks you look good too" I say. "How have you been?" He asks "I'm good I've been sick but other than that I'm fine" I say.
"How have you been?" I ask him he groans "My brothers been a bitch because he's about to pop and have his kid" he says and I spit my water out of my mouth.
"Excuse me what?" I ask
"My brother has a condition where he can get pregnant and he's about 8 months pregnant" he says and I look at him shocked
"I uh I have that condition too" I say and he smiles. "Really!? That's so cool!" He says and I blush "Yeah I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow" I say
"That's awesome! Congrats!" He says and I smile "Thanks" I say and we start eating our sandwhiches that we ordered.
"So are you happy now? I know you weren't too happy when you were working at the club" he says and I smile slightly
"I'm happier then I was. There are still some days where It's hard to get out of bed. I'm also anorexic according to my doctor so it's hard for me to eat sometimes. But my boyfriend is helping me. We uh-" I say faltering for a second
"We're kinda in an argument. I hurt his feelings and I didn't mean to" I sigh
"What happened?" He asked
"He didn't want me to come hangout with you because he thinks you're gonna steal me away or something so I got frustrated and said that he was suffocating me and he needs to give me some space and just took it the wrong way so now he's saying he'd leave me alone. But that's not what I want I just wanted a couple hours away nothing drastic" I say
"Hmm. Well I'm sure everything will be fine" he says with a smile and I sigh
"Yeah I hope" I say and look at my gold watch.
"I should probably get going" I say standing up. "Alright well it was nice talking to you if you ever meed anything I'm just a phone call away" he says and I nod
I leave the cafe and walk into the parking lot I unlock my car and get in. I drive towards Davids house which takes about 15 minutes. Once I'm there I get out of the car and walk up to the front door
I unlock the door with the Key David gave me last week and walk in. I see Brayden on the couch looking worried.
"Is he okay?" I ask and he shakes his head. "He's in his room just staring at the wall he hasn't taking his clothes off he's just laying there" he says and I nod my head and walk up the stairs and turn right and walk to his bedroom.
I walk into the bedroom and see him laying down in his suit.
I walk over and turn him over. He looks over at me blankly and I take off his suit jacket. I untuck his dress shirt and undo his zipper and pull down his pants I grab the clothes and put them in the laundry room. I walk into his closet
And grab two pairs of sweats. I quickly strip my jeans and and put on a pair of sweats. Then I put them in the laundry basket. I walk back into his bedroom and he's still laying where I put him.
I put some sweats on him and climbed into bed with him. I put the covers over us and rest my head on his chest tracing patterns onto his strong chest.
He doesn't move and I frown and I look at him and he's still staring at the ceiling.
I gently cup his face and pull him down and kiss him. It takes him a few minutes but he eventually responds wrapping his arms around my waist and squeezing me. I pull back and look into his eyes.
"There's my baby." I whisper caressing his cheek.
"I'm sorry" he says and I shake my head. "Don't be. It's fine let's get some sleep alright?" I ask and he nods his head and closes his eyes. I rest my head back on his chest and fall asleep.
July 25th (10 weeks)
I woke up the next morning wrapped safely in David's arms I shift slightly so I could see his face. David is looking directly at me I kiss his chin softly and smile at him.
"Are we good?" I ask him and he opens his mouth and then closes it.
"I don't want to annoy or suffocate you" he says quietly.
"You don't annoy me or suffocate me I am sorry I said that I love being with you I do. You make me so happy you do. I just... Sometimes I need alone time or to hang with other people and it's not because I don't want to be with you it's because I do want to be with you and if we don't have our space we'll drive each other crazy do you understand baby?" I ask and he nods his head and tightens his arms around me kissing my forehead.
"How was lunch with Evan?" He asks
"It was good. I had fun" I say with a smile and he nods his head "That's good beautiful."
We lay in comfortable silence for a couple of hours before David says "Do you want to go out and see a movie?" He asks and I nod my head "sure that sounds nice" I say
"Cool. Lets get dressed he said and we walk into his massive closet.

After we get dressed we head downstairs and out of the house into David's car he opens the door for him and I thank him. He closes my door and walks around and gets into the car.
We take the 5 minute drive to the movie theater in silence. Once we are there he pays for us to see Captin America and we head towards the concession stand
"Do you want anything?" He asks and I take a deep breath and close my eyes. You can do it Wyatt. It'll be okay just eat I open my eyes back up and smile.
"Small sprite and we can share some popcorn" I say and David smiles and tells the person what we want.
After we get our food we head into the theater and we sit at the very top row. The movie starts and we sit and watch the movie until it's over.
Once it's over we walk out the theater throwing the trash away and walking out of the movie place.
Once we get into the car my phone goes off. I see that it's a number I don't recognize but I answer it anyway.
"Hello?"
"Hi is this Wyatt Edley?" A woman asks
"He this is him" I say and david looks over confused.
"I am sorry to inform you but Mr. And Mrs. Davies passed away today" she says
I gasp tears coming to my eyes "W-what!? H-how!?" I ask
"Mr. Davies was in a bad car accident and passed away today and Mrs. Davies died during child birth today." She says
"Oh my god! What's going to happen to their kids" I ask frantically.
"If you will come down to the hospital I will be able to tell you" she says and I hang up.
"David please take me to the hospital" I say tears falling down my face.
"Why babe? What's going on?" He asks as he turns directions and starts heading towards the hospotal
"My sons mother, My best friend and her husband passed away" I say and he looks over shocked.
When we reach the hospital I rush to the front desk and they escort me to where I need to go.
"H-hi I am Wyatt Edley you called about my friends?" I say and she nods her head "I am so sorry for your loss. But in Mrs. Davies will she stated that she wanted you to be the guardian of Parker and her daughter." She says and I look over shocked. "W-Where are they?" I ask.
"Her daughter is in a room with Parker" she says and I start freaking out.
"I-I don't have any baby things! I can't take care of them!" I say and I feel arms wrapped around my waist.
"Shh calm down babe. I will help you. Don't worry." He says.
I turn around into his chest and cry. "I can't do this David!" I cry and he rubs my back soothingly.
"Hey, you can come live with me until you get the hang of it" he says and I look up.
"Really?" I sniff and he nods his head "Of course baby. I will help anyway I can." He says and I nod
"Okay" I whisper and the nurse leaves to go get them.
She comes back a few minutes later. "Uncle Wyatt!" Parker screams and runs over hugging my legs.
"Hey buddy!" I say with a smile.
The nurse has me sign some papers before I am allowed to take them home.
"This is the birth certificate of her daughter she didn't get to name her so you're going to have to do it." She says and I frown.
I look at the baby and take her out of her car seat picking her up carefully.
"Scarlette" I whisper with a smile on my face
