The (old) New Directions stood in the auditorium, wearing blue and were preparing to perform. They ignored Will's advice to give up and decided to perform. They were getting ready in the auditorium with one last rehearsal then they were heading out to perform.
"We can do this." Ryley tells everyone.
"Let's hope people actually watch our performance and like it." Jake says.
They leave the auditorium and head to the courtyard. They all go sit on the steps. Ryley has an old school stereo and she presses play, the music playing through out the courtyard. They begin the moves like in the music video of the song.
[Ryley with ND Girls with ND Boys Harmonizing:]

Kitty with the New Directions girls move through the tables, people watching in curiosity.

They finish to the courtyard just clapping for them. No cheering, just claps at random around the place. Not the response they were expecting.

After their performance, the club all get changed into their regular clothes and head to their classes of the afternoon. Ryley, Angie, Gabe and Natalie all had History class next with Will as their teacher.
Ryley and Natalie sat in second to front row on the right side with Angie and Gabe sitting behind them. When Will wasn't talking, the four were talking about how they thought their performance went and how they thought they'd get a better reaction than the one they got.
"Ms Berry, can I please talk to you?" Will asks.
"Uh, yeah." Ryley says, exchanging nervous glances with her friends. She follows Will out of the classroom and into the hallway.
"I told you guys to give up on Glee club." Will says.
"We're not giving up." Ryley says.
"Figgins isn't bringing back the Glee club anytime soon." Will says.
"I know but if we-" Ryley starts.
"He's still not going to say yes." Will says.
"I thought that someone like you who has been with the New Directions since the start would want the club back." Ryley says.
"I want the Glee club back as much as of you guys do but like I said, Figgins isn't bringing back the club." Will says.
"Well, we won't give up until he does." Ryley says then returns to the classroom.
Will groans then follows her back into the classroom.

"How did the attempt go to bring back the club?" Rachel asks over Skype with Ryley after school. She's sitting at the table in her kitchen with her laptop sitting on top of wedding magazines she's been going through all day.
"We didn't get the reception we wanted." Ryley says. She's sitting at her desk in her room.
"How did they react?" Rachel asks.
"Just a small applause." Ryley says.
"What did you guys perform again?" Rachel asks.
"Acapella by Karmin." Ryley says.
"That's a good song," Rachel says, "Why did they not like it?"
"Because we're the Glee club aka the non-existent loser club." Ryley says.
"Anything else happen today?" Rachel asks.
"Mr Schue told me to give up on bringing the club back." Ryley says.
"Why?" Rachel asks.
"He knows Figgins isn't going to bring back the club anytime soon," Ryley says, "He told me to give up."
"Keep trying, Rye. Don't give up on the club." Rachel says.
"I'll try," Ryley says then sighs, "So how's the wedding planning?"
"Great," Rachel says with a smile, "With Finn here, it's going better than ever."
"Isn't he returning to Lima tomorrow?" Ryley asks.
"Yes but I can plan what I need to plan while he's not here." Rachel says.
"Like what?" Finn asks from a distance at Rachel's end.
"Wedding dresses." Rachel says.
"Oh." Finn says.
"Hey Finn." Ryley calls out.
"Hey Rye." Finn calls out from Rachel's end. She then hears his footsteps leave the room.
"Not very talkative today, isn't he?" Ryley asks.
"He's just tired." Rachel says.
"Why?" Ryley asks.
"Wedding planning." Rachel says.
"Why aren't you tired then?" Ryley asks.
"I drink a lot of coffee." Rachel says, picking up a Starbucks cup from beside the computer and taking a long drink from it.
"Ugh, coffee." Ryley says.
"You don't like coffee?" Rachel asks.
"It's disgusting." Ryley says.
"How are we sisters?" Rachel asks.
"Sort of sisters." Ryley says.
"That proves why you don't like coffee then." Rachel says.
"I better get going. Tons of homework and planning for our next bring back the Glee club mission. Tell Blaine, Kurt and Santana hi from me." Ryley says.
"Will do. Tell Dad and Daddy I love them for me." Rachel says.
"Will do," Ryley says, "Bye Rach."
"Bye Rye." Rachel says then logs off.
Ryley sighs then leans back in her chair. She closes her laptop and begins planning the next bring back the Glee club mission.
