Heres to Us

Here's to the ones
who love and love,
Until they've none left to give.
Here's to the ones
who fall in love so quickly,
And take years to get back up.
Here's to the ones
who get so attached to destruction,
And are too afraid to sever ties,
Even if it means freedom.
Here's to the ones
Who will never give up on you,
Despite the times you let them down.
Here's to the ones
Who despite their sufferings and pain,
They keep pushing forward,
Because they know,
you can't fight a war standing still.
Here's to the ones
Who see the good in everyone.
And although they've been hurt
Countless times, they keep going back
"Maybe this time will be different."
So here's to me,
Here's to you,
And here's to the ones
Just like us.
