(Dan x pregnant reader)
- one month later -
Phil, (bff/n) and I have been planning a little surprise for dan. I still wasn't 100% sure with it though.
I sat down on the cushioned seat on the back porch under the shade of the big umbrella taking a sip form ( y/f/d). I lay my hand on my stomach, thankfully my stomach hadn't grown that big for my first month. Although I felt like he would probably just assume that I was putting on a little weight. Oh yeah he wasn't at home at the moment he was out buying some last minute items from here and there he also had to pick up ( bff/n) and Phil.
I finished packing my bags and everything and was only left to wonder on about that same thought.
" Phil what if he leaves me" I frowned staring into the front facing camera
" oh please (n/n) please don't be so negative, I know my friend well okay ? I know he'd never do such a thing" Phil smiled at you
" how's the preparation for the surprise ?" He said the smile still stuck to his lips.
" it's all ready for (bff/n) to come and pick up" I smiled again feeling the nervousness kick in . " you know I think we should have this added on at the end of the show." He said looking away from the phone for a moment
We discussed our plan for the following minutes while they waited for dan to arrive to pick them up. " this is going to be the best surprise !!! I also bought what you asked me too " (bff /n) added
"Yeah..." my smile dropped momentarily.
" hey now everything will be okay " (bff/n) said noting the sad aura that seemed to surround you . You heard a few dings in the background coming from (bff/n) phone. " hey dan's here " Phil said turning over to (bff/n) who was holding his phone.
" we'll see you soon (n/n)" they both said before ending the call and running down stairs to get into the car.
I lay my hand on my stomach once again. " good thing you haven't grown much yet ...we don't want him to find out yet " I smiled rather calmly then usual. I closed my eyes leaning back further into the chair.
Shortly after I had closed my eyes to rest for a bit I heard the door open and footsteps inching closer to me.
I heard the click of the back door being unlocked.
" honey I'm home!" He said in a mocking tone as he engulfed me in a tight hug . I noticed (bff/n) grabbing the box from the kitchen and stuffing it into one of her bags.
"Y/n ?" DAn asked noting that you had stayed silent for a bit.
" oh sorry I spaced out for a second" I smiled looking back at him .
He nodded " hey (y/n do you have everything ready ?!
" yeah I finished packing yesterday" I smiled pulling (y/f/n) Into a side hug as Dan walked up the stairs to grab our luggage.
"You'll do great " Phil gave me a thumbs up along with a reassuring smile.
" Thank you " I breathed in feeling a little more relaxed by this point.
"Okay everyone has everything," Dan asked his voice sounding a little out of breath as he pulled the heavy bags down the stairs behind him being careful with his steps.
" where's (y/f/n) " he asked once he looked over in our direction.
"right here" they walked back into the living room their mouth was stuffed with cheezits and the box was placed in their hand as they walked closer.
Dan let out a loud sigh . " well then (n/n) remind me to restock on cheezits " He commented in a sarcastic tone as he pulled our stuff out the front door.
I turned to (y/f/n) and he raised his hands to form a thumbs up.
" come on guys! Phil and I need time to rehearse "
After the long trip to get to our destination (y/f/n) and I was hanging out in the hotel while we waited for the time that we would be heading over. The guys had left earlier than expected since Phil had to go pick something up from the store before they went to the building ...or something like that.
after passing some time in the hotel (f/n) and I headed over to the concert hall where the show would be held. Not really surprised by the large line that formed outside of it filled with the voices of their excited fans who were ready to enjoy the show. You could hear the sounds of squealing get louder once they noticed you inching closer to the front of the building. The both of you waved at the fans before walking inside.
"It's Showtime" (f/n) smiled sitting down and placing a drink between the both of you.
Before we knew it the fans started walking into their seats and in less than a minute the whole hall was filled from the first floor to the second. The show started, You noticed that dan would look over at you every few minutes after speaking which made you question If Phil had mentioned anything to him about the surprise.
" someone seems rather distracted don't you guys think ?" Phil asked the crowd pulling Dan closer to him by wrapping an arm around him which dan instantly pushed away. " shut up" Dan crossed his arms faking being annoyed while he stared back at the audience.
" How about we start answering some questions from the audience now?" Phil asked walking closer to the end of the stage making sure he was careful of where he stood so he wouldn't fall off the stage like last time. He met eyes with you and noticed how nervous you were. he nodded at you reassuringly before turning to look for any raised hands in the audience. After picking a few more questions alongside dan, he decided to interrupt dan mid-sentence.
" Wait dan we can't end the questions just there someone else wants to ask you something" Phil spoke loudly into the mic making dan raise a brow.
" but don't you think we've answered enough?" dan asked crossing his arms as he watched Phil inch closer to you and (f/n).
" This Lovely lady over here seems to have a question for you dan". Dan looked at you with a rather confused expression once he realized he was pointing at you.
" would you do the honor of joining us on stage ?" he walked down the side steps and helped you stand up and walked you up the stairs toward dan holding the box in his other arm.
I now stood in front of dan nervously avoiding eye contact as I took a moment to look at (f/n) the audience fell completely silent waiting for what would happen next.
"you got this " (f/n) and Phil both motioned a thumbs up at me as they whisper shouted their comment.
" so my lovely (y/n) " he paused holding your hand with his free hand " what is your question?" he seemed rather curious now.
Phil handed you the box patting your back and handing you his mic before backing away from the both of you.
" I want you to open this first " I answered pushing the box closer to him " that's not a question (n/n) " he teased earning a few chuckles from the audience before it grew silent again.
" I'm only kidding " he looked down at the box seeing the neatly wrapped box " AWW a gift for me? how cute " he smirked tugging at the bright colored ribbon at that was holding it all together. After removing the wrapping paper and the ribbon he stopped and looked at you and Phil cautiously waiting for something to pop out. " It's not a snake is it" he questioned in a goofy tone.
" Why don't you just open it and find out already " someone spoke up from the crowd earning a fake glare from dan in response.
he lifted the lip from the box while flinching in the process since he was expecting there to be a jump scare.
" hahaha," he faked a laugh as he breathed more relaxed now. he grabbed a handful of the colorful tissue paper and threw it out onto the stage in a childish manner earning a few giggles for his actions.
he pulled out the small clothing holding it up. the audience gasped suddenly remaining silent. " umm thanks (y/n) but I don't think It'll fit me " He answered seeming oblivious to it's meaning.
he fell silent then he suddenly jumped a little his eyes grew wide when he faced you finally, the idea hit him. " y-y/n?!" his mouth hung open.
I smiled at the audience turning to look at him again. " my question for you dan is... are you ready to be a dad?" I bit my lip closing my eyes tightly the sudden rush of emotions filled my chest as I waited for him to reply the audience 'awwed' at the both of you.
He now stood in front of you when you opened your eyes. " actually (n/n) I'd like to answer your question with a question of my own. I tilted my head slightly in a confused manner. He lowered himself to his knees in front of me. he reached his hand into his pocket pulling out a small red velvet colored box.
you did nothing but cover your mouth and let the tears flow through your eyes which only earned a few more awws from the crow as they started cheering the both of you on.
" baby don't cry " Dan smiled up at you and held one of your hands in his while the other hand remained to cover your mouth. " will you make me the happiest person and marry me ?" he opened the box revealing the glowing ring inside.
You felt the same tears forming in your eyes as you nodded your head. "Yes!!" he stood now his hands still holding onto yours, he removed the ring from the box and slid it onto your finger followed by him leaning in and pressing his lips on yours to which the crowd cheered.
" Alright guys, there are children here". Phil added as you guys broke away from the kiss and smiled at each other before he led you to the edge of the stage and helped you down to your seat so they could continue the show with much more energy and a smile planted on his lips.

☆ Hello, everyone as you can tell I've changed my username from youtubertrashunite, to what I have currently, as for me going back and editing my works I have done this because I wasn't too happy with what I have written but I hope anyone who's reading this currently likes the stories..... I have also been changing the titles of each part to the titles of songs from a certain kpop group....oops ☆
