(A/N: I decided that I would draw a picture of Mayu and Mika together this time.

I wanted to draw it because there aren't many Mika x Mayu moments in this story (there will be soon though) so I thought this would be good to draw. :3

Hope u all like it! :3)

P.S. sorry about the youtube video. I couldn't find the actual, non-nightcore version of opening two to Owari No Seraph, so I could only use the nightcore version. >~<

Still, hope u enjoy this chapter!)

Mayu's P.O.V

I sighed, taking in a deep breath of the cool night air. It had been awhile since I had been out at night. I kinda started to miss looking at the stars.

"Lend me your power, Asuramaru." Yuu said, snapping me out of my thoughts. He looked up at Shinoa curiously. "So is this demon possession?" He asked. Shinoa shook her head.

"No, we need to take it a step further." She stated. I looked at her, starting to get slightly worried.

"Wait. A step further? This sounds a bit trouble some."

Shinoa pointed at Yuu's sword. "Maintain that condition, cut yourself, and say "drink my blood" to your sword." Yuu looked at Shinoa suspisously. "Blood? Sounds like a vampire."

Shinoa nodded. "Well, there's a lot between the relations of demons and devils. Would you like to hear about them?" She asked, smiling.

Kimizuki shook his head. "No, we just need to know how it works. Let's do this, Yuu." He said, drawing his weapons. Yuu smirked, about to cut himself. Mitsuba quickly stopped them.

"Stop! We're screwed if you both fail." She said as Shinoa nodded in agreement. "The demon could get out of control if the possession fails. That's why we came all the way out of the wall."

I gripped my weapon tightly. "What do you mean by get out of control?" I asked, starting to get worried. I looked over at Yuu.

"Does she mean...that if the demon gets out of control, we might go berserk like Yuu-kun did a couple weeks ago?"

Before either Shinoa or Mitsuba could answer my question, Yoichi cut us off. "You guys! We got a problem!" He shouted startling us all.

"What is it?!" I shouted back, getting ready to rush to his aid. Yoichi pulled back the string of his bow, causing an arrow to materialize.

"Four Horsemen of John are coming." He said, looking around the area to see how many there were. "Three, four, five of them." Yoichi stated.

Yuu clicked his tongue in annoyance."Bad timing." My eyes narrowed. "Need any help!" I asked. Yoichi shook his head. "No. I got this!"

Yoichi took a deep breath, pulling the string of the bow back a bit further.

"Shoot the enemies, Gekkouin. Let's protect everyone!"

My eyes widened as I saw this huge green and black demon materialize behind Yoichi. When did he learn to do that?!! Even I couldn't do that with all the harsh training a received a few days ago!

Yoichi fired the arrow, annihilating all of the Four Horsemen of John in the area. When he ran up to us, I gave him a giant hug. "That was so cool Yoichi-kun!!" I exclaimed as he laughed and hugged me back.

"W-Wait, did you just manifest your demon?! Oi, Shinoa! Explain!" Yuu shouted, pointing at Yoichi. "Did you give training to him only?!" Kimizuki asked, just as surprised.

Shinoa giggled. "No, Yoichi-san's curse-control ability was exceptionally high from the start." Mitsuba shrugged. "So he mastered manifestation himself."

Yoichi chuckled nervously. "Um, I've been talking to my demon a lot before I got to sleep, and now I just...can." I looked down at my scythe, completely confused.

"But wait..Konekomaru and I talk a lot too. So why didn't the same thing happen? Is it because I don't have that strong curse-control and biliary like Yoichi-kun, or is it something else..?"

"Drink my blood, Asuramaru!" Yuu shouted, snapping me out of my thoughts quickly. Before I could stop him, Yuu cut his hand on the blade of his sword. I watched as his blood was quickly absorbed by his weapon.

"You damn idiot!!"

Mitsuba grit her teeth and quickly drew her weapon. "Prepare to fight!" She shouted as everyone quickly drew their weapons, holding it infront of them defensively.

"Shit!"

I held up my scythe, my hands trembling slightly. Was the same thing going to happen again? I hoped not!!

Suddenly, Yuu collapsed onto the ground, startling us all. "Yuu-kun!" I shouted, quickly running towards him. I put my scythe away and put Yuu's head on my lap.

"What just happened?"

I turned towards Shinoa. "What happened to him?" Shinoa shook her head. "I don't know. He didn't lose control from the get-go so that's a relief for now. It'll take some time before he comes in contact with his demon." She said.

"So until then, we have to watch over him." Mitsuba added as the others put their weapons up. Shinoa smiled.

"That's the role for us comrades during this training."
.
.
.

*Timeskip: a little bit later.*

I looked over at Yuu, waiting to see if he was going to lose control. It had been awhile, so I was starting to get nervous.

"I hope he's okay.."

"Comrades, huh?" Kimizuki mumbled, startling us all. "Last time, Yoichi and I were interrogated by those Hiiragi's. They asked us what happened at the battlefield." He said. Shinoa looked at him seriously.

"And what did you tell them?" She asked. "I said I didn't know anything, like you ordered us to." Kimizuki replied, looking a bit concerned. "That was the right play."

Kimizuki didn't look so sure about it. "Is it the right play to continue keeping it a secret from Yuu?" He asked. He then glared at her. "If you're lying about being a comrade and are planning on using Yuu..." Kimizuki started to say, but he stopped, unsure what to say next.

"Then, what?" Shinoa asked, not even bothered by his glare. Kimizuki shook his head. "Nothing. I'll stay for my sister. Put on a mask of a friend, holding down the nausea." Mitsuba glared at him.

"Oi, Kimizuki. Watch your tongue! Shinoa's protecting Yuu from the upper--" Shinoa quickly stopped her. "I'm fine, Mitsu-chan." She then looked over at Yoichi, startling him. "And you agree, Yoichi-san?"

He looked down at the ground, trying to find the right answer. "Um, I believe  that you two are keeping it a secret for Yuu-kun's sake, but..." I sighed and threw another stick into the fire.

"I don't think we should keep any of this a secret from Yuu-kun. I think that we need to tell him." I stated, turning everyone's attention towards me. "I understand that you're doing this to protect Yuu-kun, but he needs to know at some point." I looked up at Shinoa.

"I know that we're comrades, but..I still think.." I said, remembering everything I heard back in the interrogation room. "You want an explanation." She replied. I nodded. "We're comrades, no, we're family, right?" I asked, causing Shinoa's eyes to widen a bit.

She nodded and smiled. "Yes, at least I want to be. So let's talk about everything after this training. Not just about Yuu-san, but about us."

Suddenly, Yuu screamed out in pain, causing us to all shoot up. "You guys, hold Yuu down!" Mitsuba shouted, trying to keep Yuu still. We all did what we were told and tried our best, but Yuu kept struggling.

"He must be in a lot of pain.."

"Yuu-kun...you gotta fight it.." I said, trying to keep Yuu's arm pinned. "It looks like it's already begun." Mitsuba stated, struggling to keep Yuu's leg pinned to the ground. Shinoa nodded. "Yes, it appears he came into contact with the demon." My eyes widened.

"I hope he isn't losing..."

Kimizuki turned towards me. "Oi, Mayu. Why don't you just kiss him again. It worked last time, didn't it?" I glared, feeling my face heat up. "Shut already dammit!!"

"Dammit, please be alright Yuu-kun!"

Yuuichiro's P.O.V

"Why would a child like this be born?"

As soon as I opened my eyes, I found myself back in my house. I turned towards the voice I heard and I saw my mother sitting in the corner, sobbing.

"We must kill the Owari No Seraph.."

My eyes widened. What was she talking about? Owari No Seraph? Was she talking and out me? I heard a small clanking noise and I turned to see my father in the kitchen, pulling a knife out of one of the drawers.

"Devil...you're a devil's child, Yuu." He said, looking sad. I backed slightly. "Oto-san.." I mumbled as my father started coming towards me. I continued to back away.

"This isn't happening...this is all a dream..."

"Come over here, Yuu. Let's all go to a better place." He said, pointing the knife at me. Frightened, u ran towards the front door and quickly opened it, only to find the bodies of my friends lying on the ground.

"This can't be happening...this is all just a nightmare..!"

I soon felt a sharp pain in my back, causing tears to fall from my eyes. I looked down at the ground, seeing my blood fall everywhere.

"You should have died here. Everyone died because you ran away." My father said, starting to sound like Asuramaru.

"Break down, Yuu."

I grit my teeth. "This isn't gonna make me lose control, Asuramaru." I stated, starting to feel my confidence come back.

"There's something I have to do. After all I made a promise to them. They need me."

I soon found myself back at the underground vampire facility, my eyes meeting both Mika's and Mayu's. They smiled at me, holding out their hands.

"Yuu-chan, let's protect our family. I'm counting on you." Mika said. I nodded. "Yeah. It's because you want my help that I can save you." I took both Mayu and Mika's hands. Mayu smiled at me.

"Remember, Yuu-kun. As long as you hold the light in your heart close to you.."

"You won't ever fall prey to the darkness."
.
.
.

"Hmm, I thought I'd win."Asuramaru said as I sat up, sounding extremely disappointed. I smirked. "I already know how you fight." Asuramaru laughed. "Stop acting tough. You're a devil abandoned by your parents."

I shook my head, not giving into Asuramaru's harsh words. "If Mika needs my help and if Guren, Mayu, and the others need me, I don't care if I'm a devil or whatever." I said. I didn't care.

"Oh yeah? You seem stronger than before, but that whatever attitude you have is sort of annoying." He said, sounding irritated. I smiled. "What'll you do about it?"

Suddenly, Asuramaru charged towards me. "I'm gonna kill you!" Before he could hit me, I threw my sword aside, startling him. He glared at me. "What are you doing?!" He shouted.

"I don't want to hurt you." I stated, making Asuramaru laugh. "What are you saying?" He asked, sounding like he didn't believe me. "I need you, Asuramaru. Could you help save Mika with me?" I asked, hoping he would help.

Asuramaru's eyes narrowed. "What's in it for me? I smiled. "You can be my friend." I said, startling him.

"It's tough to be alone. It's tough to feel unwanted by everybody. I know that very well. But," I said, putting my hand on my heart. "There's always that one person that'll love you no matter what you are.." I said, Mayu's face and warm smile popping into my mind.

Asuramaru smirked. "So you're gonna be my friend?" I nodded.

"Yeah!"
.
.
.

I opened my eyes to find ten pairs of worried eyes staring back at me. I sat up slowly, my head pounding. "Did I cause you guys any trouble?" I asked, hoping I didn't hurt any one.

Suddenly, I found myself being hugged tightly. "You idiot! I'm glad you're alright!" Mayu exclaimed. "Jeez, you were going berserk." Kimizuki stated. I hung my head. "I had no clue."

Mayu let me go. "It's alright, don't feel bad about any of this." Even though she said that, I still couldn't help but feel upset. "So, did you succeed?" Kimizuki asked, I nodded.

"It was seriously difficult. I'm glad that it's over.."

"Anyway, this is really tiring. Let's do Kimizuki's training next week." Mitsuba spoke up, sounding a bit tired. "Huh?! Shut up. Do it now!" Kimizuki protested. "Well, now is a little too soon." Yoichi mumbled, catching Kimizuki's attention. "What?! You too?"

I couldn't help but laugh at this situation. Shinoa turned towards me. "Must've been hard. So? Were you okay? Were you able to fight it's psychological attacks?" I nodded.

"Yeah. And thanks to you guys, I'm not alone anymore." I said quietly. Shinoa looked at me curiously and I quickly shook my head.

"Never mind, it's nothing."

Normal P.O.V

"Well, to put it simply, humans are defective items, letting their desires run loose, taking part in the forbidden experiment." Ferid said, presenting his information to the Progenitor Council.

"If you would watch this, you'll understand immediately." He said, causing the other Progenitor's to go silent. Ferid soon snapped his fingers, causing the door of the room to open.

Krul's eyes widened in anger as Mika stepped into the room. Why was he here? Was this all Ferid's idea? As soon as Mika stepped into the room, he pulled up a video file that showed the event that took place two weeks ago.

Mika watched as he once again saw his family turn into some sort of mindless monster of destruction, and it hurt him deeply. Mika tried not show any emotion, but his eyes widened as soon as Mayu popped onto the screen.

Everytime he saw Mayu and Yuu together it made him extremely jealous. His eyes narrowed as he again witnessed Mayu kiss Yuu. It hurt him a lot and it was hard to push away.

Suddenly, the room became filled with angered shouts and questions, snapping Mika out of his thoughts.

"Wait, what was that...?"
.
.
.
"Why does that human girl look just like Riza-Sama?!!"
.
.
.

"If they put that in practical use..."
.
.
.

"Why was Riza-Sama there?!"
.
.
.

Suddenly, Krul shot up out of her throne, her eyes wide. Mika looked at her curiously, wondering why she suddenly shot up like that. Suddenly, Krul mumbled something, making Mika's eyes widen.

"Mayu..."

Did he hear that right? And if he did...

How did Krul know Mayu?

Ferid clapped his hands, silencing the room. "That's right! Humans are finally succeeding in weaponizing the Owari No Seraph! We have a serious situation!" He said, causing the Progenitor's to start whispering among themselves.

"B-But Krul-Sama had put an end to that experiment, exterminating the Hyakuya Sect." One of the Progenitor's spoke up, sounding both outraged and nervous.

"Yes, I stopped it eight years ago." Krul said, sitting back down. "I killed all children carrying factors of the Owari No Seraph with my own hands." She said, startling Mika. But..she wasn't the one who killed them.

Ferid smirked. "Is that so? You killed all the test subjects?" He asked, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Krul turned towards him and glared. "That is what I sa--" She started to say, but she was cut off.

"But, how has the research come this far, then?"

Krul turned her glare towards the voice that dared interrupt her. The Progenitor who spoke soon came into view. He looked like a child around ten, maybe twelve years of age. His hair was red on one side, and silver on the other. But, what was really noticeable was that he and Krul didn't seem to like each other.

"Other than the Hyakuya Sect, there weren't any other organizations with research this advanced." He said, the other Progenitor's soon going silent. "Krul, if your management failed, this is a major liability issue for--" He started to say, but Krul cut him off.

"Silence, Lest Karr! Are you picking a fight with me?" Krul snarrled, causing Lest to smile. "Perhaps. If this is too much for you to handle, I don't mind replacing you to be the ruler of Japan." Krul bared her fangs, angered by his sudden threat.

"Don't push it, brat." She growled, shooting out of her throne. Lest laughed at her anger. "We're only about 200 years apart. Besides, I'm much stronger than--" He taunted, but Ferid stopped him.

"Now, now, you two. Anyway, it doesn't change the fact that humans are succeeding in the weaponization, Krul-Sama. So, how will you handle that? He asked as Krul sat back down with a sigh. "Our basic stance won't change. We'll send our main units to destroy the Japanese Imperial Demon Army."

Lest nodded. "Looking forward to it." He said before he went out of view. After a while of silence, one of the Progenitors spoke.

"By the way, Ferid Bathroy. Who is the young boy behind you?"
.

Mikaela's P.O.V

When the Progenitor Council meeting finished, Krul turned towards Ferid, completely angry.

"What are you trying to do?!" She shouted, quickly swing at him. Ferid dodged, not seeming affected by her anger. "Why did you bring Mikaela here?! And that video you played..." She said, clenching her fists.

"WHY THE HELL WAS MAYU THERE?!!"

My eyes widened. She knew Mayu?! How was this even possible? What was Mayu to her exactly?

Krul glared at Ferid. "Are you conspiring against me?!" Ferid chuckled. "So scary. But, you can't kill me, right? After all, if I die, the information I have may leak to the Progenitor Council." He stated.

"Of course, I'll be punished, too, if they found out I let Yuu-kun escape." Suddenly, Ferid smirked. "Oh, hold on. Does that mean we're allies with shared secrets? He asked, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"What the hell is he playing at?"

Soon, Ferid turned towards Krul, holding his hand out to her.

"Take my hand, Krul Tepes."

I looked at him, wondering what the hell was with that sudden change of attitude. What was this vampire planning anyway? Ferid laughed. "Just kidding." He said, starting to walk away. "Be nice to me next time."

I looked over at Krul, seeing that she was completely beyond angry. "Krul.." I started to say, but she cut me off.

"When you see Mayu again on the battlefield, bring her back here and make sure she doesn't fall into the hands of either Ferid Bathroy or the Japanese Imperial Demon Army." She ordered, surprising me. Before I could ask her how she knew Mayu, she cut me off again.

"That's an order. I don't need to give you any type of explanation!"

Mayu's P.O.V

"Dammit..this is starting to get difficult.."

Currently we were trying to keep Kimizuki pinned to the ground so he wouldn't attack any of us, but it was starting to get difficult.

"Dammit...why do I have a bad feeling about this..."

"Oi, Shinoa! Was I like this, too?!" Yuu asked, struggling to keep Kimizuki's leg pinned to the ground. Shinoa shook her head. "No, we might be in a little trouble!" Mitsuba nodded. "The demon may take over his body." She said, startling all of us.

Yuu looked up at Mitsuba. "Then whatever we going to do?!" He asked, hoping it wasn't going to be as bad as it sounded. "Yuu-san! Please prepare for the worst!"

I grit my teeth, not knowing what to do. My arms were starting to get tired and I knew they would give way soon.

"What should I do? We can't continue with this.."

"Mayu. Use a sealing spell on Kimizuki. It'll work, but only for a little while." Konekomaru said, startling me.

"But, I don't know how to do that?"

"Trust me, you'll know what to do when it comes to you. Right now, you have to do it quickly!"

I nodded, deciding to take Konekomaru's word for it. I quickly let go of Kimizuki's arm and grabbed my scythe. I cut my thumb on the blade, causing a small moth to fly out of the weapon.

"From the sacred purity of this delicate creature, I seal thee away O darkness. Return to the depths from which you emerged!"

Suddenly, as if answering to my comand, the moth flew onto Kimizuki's forehead, causing thorn vines to wrap around his arms and legs.

The others quickly backed away, wondering what just happened. "M-Mayu-san. Did you do that just now?" Shinoa asked. I nodded.

"I used a sealing spell on him. It'll give us a break for a little while, in hopes he doesn't free himself." I panted, my energy feeling very low.

Mitsuba gave a sigh of relief and sat down. "And now...we wait.."

Normal P.O.V

"Die!"

Kimizuki lunged at his demon, only to have his attack quickly blocked. "So desperate." Kimizuki grit his teeth, frustrated. "Yield to me, Kiseki-o!" He ordered, but Kiseki-o just ignored him.

"Not to a weakling."

Suddenly, Kiseki-o stabbed him, causing Kimizuki to fall to his knees and cough up blood. "Your body is mine. So go ahead..and break."

Kimizuki's eyes widened as he felt a sharp pain in his neck. Was it really going to end this way..was he really going to lose..?
.
.
.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself back with his sister Mirai. A sudden knock at the door caused the two to look in that direction. Kimizuki glared.

"Onii-chan.." She said, feeling worried and scared. Kimizuki smiled and smoothed out his sisters hair. "Don't worry. It's okay." He quickly got up and looked out the soor, sighing in relief as he saw it was just a few of his friends.

He stepped outside, closing the door behind him. "How's Mirai doing?" One of his friends asked, sounding worried. Kimizuki shook his head. "Not good. It's progressing fast."

His friend sighed, about to get straight to the point. "The thing is, we're low on food. We won't last three days with what we have." Kimizuki's eyes widened slightly. "Are we leaving here?" His friend nodded.

"Yeah. We're going to leave tomorrow morning." He stated, causing Kimizuki to panic. "Hold on. I need to get ready to move Mirai--" He started to say, but one of his other friends quickly cut him off.

"Leave her behind. She'll only slow us down." He stated bluntly, not even thinking what those words would do. "What did you just say?!" Kimizuki yelled, grabbing the boy by the collar of his shirt.

"Calm down!" One of Kimizuki's friends exclaimed, putting a hand on his shoulder. "Listen, Kimizuki. We have responsibilities. Tomorrow, we have to move while protecting the little ones that survived." He stated, pulling a small knife out of his pocket.

"It's a tough world. We don't have the luxury to take care of the sick." He said, handing Kimizuki the knife. Kimizuki's eyes widened. He wasn't asking him to do what he think he was asking?! "You do it. It's for your sister's best."

Kimizuki shook his head. "Shut up, I can't do--" He started to say, but he was cut off again. "Mirai asked me to." His friend said, causing Kimizuki's eyes to widen even more.

"She said she doesn't want to get in your way, but she can't do it herself because she can't move." Before Kimizuki could say anything in protest, he found himself being pinned. "If you can't do it, we will."

Kimizuki quickly pushed his friends out of the way and ran towards the front door, ignoring his friends that were yelling for him to come back.

When he was inside, he quickly locked the door. A minute later, his friends started pounding on the door. "Open the door, Kimizuki!" One of them shouted. "Let's head towards the back, where the balcony is."

Not wasting any more time, Kimizuki ran towards the glass door of the balcony, looking to see which directions his friends were coming from.

"Onii-chan..." Mirai mumbled, but her brother didn't hear her. "Oi, Onii-chan? I don't want to slow you down." She said, he voice starting to sound slightly demonic.

Kimizuki ignored that. "Shut up, Mirai." He said, trying to stay focused. He didn't want his emotions to break through.

"Please, kill me."

Kimizuki turned towards his sister, his eyes widened in shock and anger. Why would she say something like that! He could never do anything like that at all!

"I don't want to see you in pain because of me." Mirai said, sounding like she was going to cry. Kimizuki covered his ears, his emotions starting to get out of control.

"Shut up! Shut up! Just shut up!" He shouted. He couldn't take much more of this. Suddenly, Mirai laughed. "There, just now. Just now, you wanted to become free." She said, her voice sounding more and more like that of a demons.

Kimizuki's eyes widened even more. That wasn't true, he never thought that for one second! "I'm sick of it. Why do I have to go through this? I'm just a kid, too. If only I could kill my sister, right here." Mirai stated.

"No..." Kimizuki started to say, but he was cut off. "Wouldn't it be easier if I could just round away from this burden?" Mirai said as she looked up at Kimizuki. "That's what you thought."

Kimizuki grit his teeth, starting to get angry. "No! I'm not thinking that at all!!" The demon smirked. "I'm not wrong, Shiho Kimizuki. Don't fight it. Free yourself."

Suddenly, Kimizuki felt a pair of arms wrap around him. "Thanks, Onii-chan, for putting me out of my misery." Mirai said, making Kimizuki feel like he was going to cry.

"I'm sorry, Mirai." He said, his hands trembling. Mirai shook her head. "Don't apologize. This is what I wanted." She said, hugging her brother even tighter.

"Can I ask you one more thing?" Kimizuki asked, startling Mirai. "I met these two people recently. A boy and a girl. This boy insanely gets on my nerves. He doesn't listen to a damn thing the girl tells him and it pisses me off so much that I hate him. He even says that he'll risk his life to save his family not related to him by blood. What do you think? He's an idiot, right?"

"Yeah.." Mirai said, starting to get suspisous. Kimizuki turned around and bent down infront of his sister, putting his hand on her shoulder. "But I can't let an idiot like that beat me. And you're my family by blood at that. So if I have to kill you, I'd rather..." He said, pointing the blade of the knife at himself.

Mirai's eyes widened. "No, don't, Onii-chan!" She shouted, but it was already to late. Kimizuki quickly stabbed himself, causing the fake reality to disappear.

Kimizuki looked up and smiled at the demon, his fear disappearing along with the fake reality. "It's over."

Before Kiseki-o could react, Kimizuki swung his weapon at him, slicing him in half. Kiseki-o chuckled.

"I'll be damned."

Mayu's P.O.V

"Come, Kiseki-o."

Suddenly, Kimizuki swung his weapon, cutting the thorn vines that were keeping him pinned to the ground. My eyes widened and I quickly jumped back, holding up my scythe in defense.

"Shit! Don't tell me he's..."

The other quickly jumped back with me, preparing to fight. Kimizuki laughed. "Chill out, you guys. I'm okay." He said, startling us.

"He's alright?! That jerk is okay! Thank goodness!"

"Oi! If you were okay, then why did you attack me?!" Yuu shouted, sounding pretty angry. "Because we need to see who's stronger. You or me." Kimizuki challenged, pointing his weapon at Yuu.

Yuu smirked. "So you succeeded." Kimizuki nodded. "This makes me stronger than you at any given time."

Yuu's smirk faded and he quickly accepted Kimizuki's challenge. "Oh yeah? You wanna do it for real?!"" Mitsuba went to stop them, but Shinoa stopped her instead. "This will be interesting." I sighed.

"Idiots..."

Yuu readied his sword. "Come, Asuramaru!" He shouted, causing his sword to erupt in red flames.

"Fan out! Asura-Kannon!"

Suddenly, more swords appeared behind Yuu, causing Kimizuki to back up slightly. Yuu chuckled deviously. "Don't cry, Kimizuki!" Yuu taunted, charging forward.

When he did, the swords that were behind him started flying towards Kimizuki. He quickly blocked the attack, causing the swords to fly off in different directions. I giggled a bit.

"It would've been funny if one of the swords just happen to hit a vampire that was patrolling the area."

"Open the devil's coffin, on the count of nine. Kiseki-o!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts when the atmosphere around us suddenly changed. I looked up to see a giant coffin appear behind Kimizuki.

"This don't seem good."

The coffin slowly opened, revealing a pair of glowing purple eyes.

"One, two, three, four..."

Yuu quickly backed away, sensing that it was about to get dangerous. "Oi! Don't run away!" Kimizuki shouted, sounding extremely disappointed. Yuu pointed at the coffin above Kimizuki.

"But, that! I can tell that's bad! I'm totally getting the bad-news vibe from it!" Yuu shouted, looking like a freaked out cat who saw a big dog. I laughed.

"Tsk, he's an idiot but has good intuition." Kimizuki mumbled, but Yuu heard him. "What?! You better say that again!!"

Kimizuki sighed. "Well, I guess his idiocy saved me this time around..." Yuu looked at him curiously, wondering what he said. Kimizuki looked away, embarrassed. "I mean, it's a pain to deal with an idiot!" He shouted back, causing Yuu's eyebrow to twitch in frustration.

"Screw you. Fine, let's settle this!" He shouted, cracking his knuckles. I sighed and mentally face palmed.

"Not again..."

I heard Konekomaru chuckle deviously. "Oi, Mayu. Why don't we go show them who's really the strong one." I smirked.

"Yes. That sounds like a good idea, Konekomaru!"

I quickly jumped up on one of the light posts and charged downwards, swinging my scythe behind me.

"On my command, Konekomaru! Let's show these idiots who is the strongest!"

Before the two boys could hit each other, I swung my scythe, causing the ground around them to crack and crumble.

"Obliterate everything in your path, Konekomaru-kuchiku-kan!"

Soon after, the ground was lit up with purple flams, destroying everything around it. Both Yuu and Kimizuki barely dodged my attack, trying to figure out where the hell that came from.

I smirked. "You two idiots done with your fight, or do I have to do that again?" I asked, startling the two boys. "Mayu?! That was you?!!" Yuu shouted, sounding like he was about to have a heart attack.

I nodded. "Yup. So, you boys gonna continue to bicker?" I asked once more. They both shook their heads and I laughed. "That's the answer I wanted to hear." I said as I snapped my fingers, causing the flames to turn into a swarm of moth's and vanish.

"That was fun! Let's do that again sometime, Konekomaru!"

Normal P.O.V

"Shinoa, that was.." Mitsuba said, looking at the three up ahead. Shinoa nodded. "Yes, they tried to use their special abilities that they normally wouldn't be able to." She stated.

"And Yoichi and Mayu succeeding in manifestation without training, too. How did Lieutenant colonel Guren gather them?"

*Timeskip: a few hours later*

"Hey, what's going on?" Mitsuba asked as Shinoa pulled up the files on the computer. "Well, it looks like someone has deleted the data about their pasts." She said, examining both Yuu's, Yoichi's, and Kimizuki's files.

Mitsuba turned towards Shinoa, suspisous of this "Someone". Shinoa sighed. "It has to be Lieutenant colonel Guren." Mitsuba shook her head. "Is Lieutenant colonel Guren going to fight the Army's upper members?"

Shinoa's eyes narrowed. "I hope it's that simple." Mitsuba looked back at the files. "Human experimentation and war with vampires...I have a horrible feeling that something horrible's about to happen." Shinoa stated, starting to worry Mitsuba.

Shinoa began typing again, starting to do a search on Mayu this time. "Huh..? That's strange.." She mumbled, catching Mitsuba's attention.

"What is it?" She asked as she looked over Shinoa's shoulder. "For some reason, Mayu's file isn't showing." She stated as she began looking through the deleted files.

Mitsuba looked at the computer screen curiously. "Did Lieutenant colonel Guren delete her file or something?" She asked. Shinoa shook her head, her eyes soon growing wide. "No, her file is not among the deleted ones. What could that mean..."

Suddenly, Shinoa shot up out of her chair, startling Mitsuba. "What...you gotta be kidding me..."

Mitsuba grabbed Shinoa's shoulder. "What is it?! What's wrong?!" She asked. Shinoa began looking through the computer agaon, proving her guess correct.

"The reason why Mayu-san wasn't summoned by the Hiiragi's that day...is because they didn't even know that she existed!!"

Mitsuba's eyes widened. "What?!" Shinoa turned towards Mitsuba. "I looked under Mayu-san's name in the existing and deleted files and I found nothing..which means.."

"Mayu-san...doesn't even exist in the Japanese Imperial Demon Army!"
