I found Emmy and Peter and wondered what caught their eyes, then I saw what they saw, and I gasped. A animal came with a shield that glowed, then followed a shining girl.
She just smiled and said, "Collect all the shields and then lay them beneath the cross on the last island that is across from the island full of evil" Caspian then walks in and tries to ignore the shining lady.
I looked at Caspian, "You once liked this shining star did you?" He just smiled at me and looked at the star.
"I once did Sam, you have nothing to worry about," he said and took my hand. I looked away from him, but smiled. I pull out a note and gave it to Caspian. He took it and put it in his pocket, and looked at the shining star.
"Thanks for the help, but I am proudly taken by Sam," Caspian said once the star girl tried to take his hand.
He waved bye at her, and we left onto the Dawn Treader. Caspian held me on my sides, and he kissed my head. I looked at him and kissed him and he kissed me back, and he picked me up and sat down on his bed with me. He just held me close, and I could tell something was on his mind.
I turned to face him and I touched his face, "What it is that you are thinking of, I am sure that you will solve it my love. I know you can do so, because you are the smartest man I ever knew and loved. Forever I shall stay by your side my Caspian." We kissed for a second, the kiss was to help him forget what he was thinking of.
He smiled and hugged me closer to him, "Sam, you are the wisest girl I met. I do wish you could stay with me after this adventure ends." He kissed my head, and smiled again.
I took his hands and stared into his eyes, "I do wish too as well, I would hate staying away from my love. Aslan told me I have a choice in the end, and he has something to tell me. I hope father is okay." I said.
"What about your mother?" Caspian asked.
"My mother has been dead for years, she was ill...I was only 5 years old at the time," I said and Caspian looked into my green eyes. He kissed me softly, and I kissed him back. Peter then walked in, and just turned his head away.
"We have found another island about 50 feet or so away. Should we land Caspian?" Peter asked and smiled cause Caspian got up out of the bed and walked onto the deck to see the land. I followed them and saw the island in the distance, my brown hair flew back in the breeze. I could smell the sweet water and it made me smile. Everyday of this adventure has made me happier then I could ever be. The sun was in my eyes, today was warmer than the other days, and Caspian noticed it.
"Peter, I will decide on if we should check this island. Go get Emmy and tell her to stand watch and let me know of any changes. I am tired, so I will go nap. Come now Sam," Caspian said and he took my hand.
When I awoke I did not see Emmy or Peter, I checked the deck but I could not see the island anymore. I saw that we were in fact far away from it.
"Emmy! Peter!" I called out to hear no reply. I saw Eustace from the corner of my eye. I walked over to him and pulled him up.
"What's going on Sam?" He asked me in that stupid rich British accent.
"Emmy and Peter are gone, did you see anything?" I asked him.
"Yeah, it was raining very badly and they went against that end of the boat and were gone. I thought they went to explore it," He said and he looked worried.
I just smiled to assure him of their safety, "I will find them." I grabbed a sword, and prepared to jump off the boat to go to the island. I then heard footsteps behind me, darn, I was busted.
Caspian grabbed my sword from my hands and he stood over me, "Planning on going somewhere without telling me my beloved?" He cocked a eyebrow but had a plain look on his face.
I tried to get my sword back but he would not give, "I am going to find Emmy and Peter, they are my friends. Besides that I should be getting part in this adventure, but you will not let me get involved in much of the fighting. I should have a say in what goes on too." I said to Caspian coldly, yet I sounded hurt.
He looked at Eustace. "You were going to let her do this? Sam, I am protecting you from the evil of Narnia...I do not want you to get hurt or worse." he said while looking into my eyes.
I ran into his arms and started crying, "I am most terribly sorry Caspian, I did not think about your feelings, just about mine. I am so stupid." He tilted my head up. He kissed me and I was dazed by it. I knew why he kissed me, it was to keep my quiet.
He smiled, "I am not mad at you Sam, I do not blame you. I have kept you on a leash, and for that I am sorry. I just cannot let you leave me in the end, for the fear of you leaving me. Susan left me to go back home, and I am just hoping you will not too."
Eustace pretended to be sick by Caspian’s and my "love fest". His brown hair was in his face, although his beard was growing back I kissed him.
He kissed me back and we looked at the island they might be on. I looked at it closely and saw two people there, I pointed at the island, "Is it me, or are there people on that island?"
Caspian went over my shoulders and leaned a little off the boat to see, he shook his head, "I see it too. Let's go save them."
Once we got to the island we had to search for them, I found Peter who almost kissed me. He backed off though and walked with me. Eustace found Emmy and you could hear him from over a mile away.
"Emmy, Emmy, I found you!" He said and started hugging her. Emmy hugged back, and she was kind of confused.
She just made a smile upon her face, "I guess you did. Thank you Eustace, you are one brave guy." She leaned down and planted a kiss on his cheek and he nearly fainted. I laughed and Caspian found us. He laughed a little too, and walked up to Peter.
Peter looked down at the ground, "Is Lucy and Susan alright?" He said.
Caspian nodded and handed him his sword, "They are doing fine, let us get back to them." We walked to the ship and Peter took his sword.
Susan and Lucy came out from the ship and hugged Peter. I smiled and got on the ship and sat on the edge of it as we were on the sea. Emmy and Peter both found shields, making about 5 or more shields. It seemed as we had like five thousand more the find. Susan walked over and sat by me.
She smiled and gave me a necklace that was her's. She looked out over the horizon with me, "How is Caspian doing?"
I looked at her, "He is fine. I heard you two had a relationship before I did with him. Is it true?" I asked.
I took the necklace slowly and looked at it and she smiled, "Yes, I kissed him, but that was all. I do still love him, but I am not a child no more, Narnia is for kids." She said to me.
I put the necklace on and turned back to the horizon, "Narnia is for those who choose to believe in it. Like the people who believe in Peter Pan, Narnia is like that...but something more. You find out a great secret after being here for awhile. Lucy told me she discovered God and Jesus after being here, I told her in America we know about both." I said and Susan gave me a big smile.
"Your from America? I'm currently staying there, where do you live?" She asked.
"Washington D.C, and live in New York sometimes. Maybe I should visit you sometime." I said and Caspian walked up to both of us.
He held out his hand to help us both down from where we were sitting, we both took his hand and got down.
He looked at me, "Dinner is in my chambers or room however you Americans call it, and Susan dinner is in there too for you. You can eat in there if you want, if not, your brothers and sister are eating in their room." He said with a smile and it faded. Edmund walked in with a piece of cake.
"Caspian we love this cake, what is it called?" He asked.
"Future wedding cake." He laughed and smiled.
"Really?" Edmund asked.
Caspian laughed again and put a chair on the deck for Edmund to sit. He smiled, "No, its just regular Narian cake. Did you get some fruits and vegetables?" He asked and sounded like Edmund's father or mother perhaps. Edmund looked at him and laughed.
"Of course I did Caspian. Lucy took most of them, Peter had the second most, and me third of course," Edmund said while eating the cake. I walked over to him and he stared at me. He took in my beauty as Caspian calls it.
I smiled softly and handed him a towel to wipe his face, "Maybe I can help you with your table manners King Edmund. After all if you are a king, you need to eat proper in front of all guest," I said. He took the towel and wiped his face. Susan, Caspian, and me laughed. Then we left to get food. Once we got it, Susan went to eat with her family. Eustace walks in with Emmy, and they sit down near us.
"How many more shields are left?" They both asked.
Caspian took a bite out of his food and went to answer them, "Like fourteen or thirteen more."
Emmy grabbed a small plate and cut a piece of pie out of the silver tray and she then grabbed to forks. She handed one to Eustace, "That is good I guess." She took a bite of the pie and enjoyed the first bite. Eustace then took his fork and got a bite as well. Caspian smiled because I made the pie for him when he got the ingredients for it.
He got up after finishing his plate, "I am glad you both love the pie, Sam made it for us. It took a while to cook over the fireplace I had installed for her to use. She is such a great cooker and cleaner. She managed to make sure every food pantry on this ship was clean." He said and pointed down to the lowest part of the ship.
I looked out the window and saw a green mist form and it transformed into my dad. I looked at it and fell down, everything went black.
