"No problem Jai, you know I'm here for you. All the time, any time." He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Let's go back to your parents and find Dani."
Damn it... I feel like a girl with him sometimes... and damn it I kind of like this...
"Yeah... Let's get a few things covered... I gotta take my parents to the chalk-work before I go... see Jackson." I looked down. I couldn't look in Caleb's eyes as I talked about his cousin.
"...Yeah. Don't want to be late for your date." I heard him chuckle, it was fake... so fake.
"Yeah... I'm going to end this... soon." I whispered
"Cool" He sighed, he sounded happier.
"Let's go already I'm starved." I smirked, "Race you." I flipped us over and ran off, laughing at his growl
"That's cheating!" He laughed
"Sorry not sorry fool!" I yelled back, "Oi Dani, Kay! Stop being 'maybe lesbians' and come down for brunch!"
"Jai you ass! We traded clothes I wanted to try on some of the punk clothes we bought you!" Kay yelled down the stairs
"Meh tomato, gay toh-ma-toh" I shrugged grinning, then I was tackled.
"Got you!" Caleb yelled, he jerked me on to his shoulder and kicked the kitchen door open, "Food now! Jai here!" He bellowed
"Let me down ass!" I wiggled around trying to get down but I was failing as I was laughing, "What the hell?!" I yelled, "Did you slap my ass?!" I glared over my shoulder to the back of his head
"Yup, by the way... dat ass." He said. I could hear his smirk
"Wish I could say the same..." I smirked
"You did not dismiss my choice butt!" He gasped, "I never!"
"Meh... it's so-so" I shrugged as much as I could, "But there's better guy ass out there..."
"Uh huh... but this," slap "is my ass" He laughed
"That's my ass, and it won't be yours if you keep abusing it!" I growled
"So if I'm nice I can keep it?" He asked
"I DIDN'T SAY THAT!"
"You didn't not say it Jai." Kay smirked, coming down the stairs with Dani
"Caleb let me down you douche... I'm gonna get sick..." I fake whined
"I don't know, I like the view." He replied
"Please?" I whispered
"............fine" he grumbled and set me down gently
"Thanks." I said seriously
"You'll make it up to me later..." He sighed
"I will..." I whispered to him, I smirked inwardly as I saw him gulp.
"Soooo... you're sorta-but-not-quite an item?" Kay asked
"Don't label it Kay, it's our business." I smirked, "You look nice. Both of you." And they did, Kay had on the ripped white skinny jeans and a red shredded tank with black fishnet under it. Complete with black knee high boots. Dani was wearing a sky blue slit sleeve shirt and pink skinny jeans with tie-dye converse. Her red Mohawk really stood out with the colors.
"Aw... thanks Jai. Why are you two always shirtless?" She smiled incredulously
"More comfortable." We said shrugging
"Hey! Guys, eat get dressed, and let's go I want to go see the art!" Mom came swooping in in that model walk she does
"Art?" Kay asked
"We'll fill you in... over brunch, I'm still starving!" Caleb bumped me and yelled back, "Still racing Jai!"
"ASS!" I yelled jumping after him and tackling him down. "Sorry not sorry babe." I smirked as I climbed over him
"Men..." Kay and Dani sighed
"Jealous much?" I shouted at them and ran into the kitchen. I sat down and started tucking into another cinnamon bun. Caleb sat next to me and started filling up his plate.
"So art?" Kay asked as she sat down filling up a plate as well.
"Yeah, lemme recap for you Kay." Caleb started, his hand was on my thigh and he ate with the other as he told Kay of how I came up with chalk art after I had been doing our skate decks, then how we started a Facebook page and how mom caught us last night. His hand stayed on my thigh the whole time rubbing circles with his thumb... kind of distracting...
Which is why I didn't hear Kay at all...
"ai...Jai? JAIME!" Kay yelled
"Huh?" wow me... smooth...
"I asked what'd you tell mom and dad?" Kay rolled her eyes and huffed
"Oh, well I told them about how we were a street artist group, and mom and dad said they could get us paid work... maybe even start a line with our skateboards as well. Oh Caleb, Dani, we're getting a work shed in the backyard to use now too!" I smiled
"Sweet!" Dani smiled, "So now you're family knows and we'll get back up to work on it all?"
"Yeah, guess so!" I smiled
"That's awesome Jai... would you do me a favor then?" Kay grinned
"Sure, what's up?" I asked
"Will you paint something for me?" Kay asked
"Yeah, absolutely." I smiled back. I felt Caleb squeeze my knee, I glaced at him from the corner of my eye and saw his smile. I smiled and let my hand hold his and squeeze, then I squeezed his thigh a bit higher up than his own hand was on mine. I saw him gulp
"Tease..." he breathed quietly
"Sorry not sorry..." I whispered, feeling myself smirk.
"Let's go! Get dressed I wanna see this art stuff too Jai!" Kay jumped up, "I'll do the dishes, and you two guys get dressed... Dani... I guess be Dani?"
"NO! I will be Captain Jack Sparrow! YAHAHAHAAAA!" she cried and stood on her chair, "Now then, let us make preparations before we shove off!" she jumped off her chair and danced away
"Yeah okay... I'm gonna get dressed." I shook my head at Dani and headed to my room
"Jai! Wear the shirt on your bed as a guy! I think it'll be cool!" Kay shouted
"Yeah, yeah Kay." I walked up the stairs and went to my room. I closed the door and swapped my boxers and threw on some ripped jeans, socks, and converse. I grabbed the shirt Kay left me and... well it was sort of a shirt... it was a black tee shirt and had shreds at the bottom on one side, one of the sleeves, and slashes on the pec on the other side. The collar was frayed and had the shirt had safety pins on it. Too gothic for my usual style but... I kinda dug it. I threw it on and heard a whistle.
"Looks good... pretty hot, didn't know rips could do that..." Caleb said from my doorway, "Came to borrow a shirt, not peeping."
"I'm smaller than you, what are you gonna wear?"
"One of my old shirts you stole...like this Daft Punk one." He smirked as he held it up
"I'm keeping it. One of my favs..." I grumbled, thing was soft as hell
"Got it, looks better on you anyway." He grinned rakishly
"Really?" I asked sarcastically
"Yup, whole 'wearing my clothes' thing is kinda hot y'know." He slipped it on and grabbed his vans.
"Mhmm... then wear one of my bigger hoodies." I rolled my eyes how could that really...
"Here." I turned and he wore my red hoodie with the black paint spatter on it.
Huh... that IS kinda hot...
"Okay... you were right on that..." I sighed, "Let's go... and keep that on." I glared
"Yessir!" He mock-saluted
"Ass..." I grumbled
"Your ass" he smirked
"Mmm." I grunted, I grabbed a hat and went outside to the car and hopped in with Caleb right behind, Kay and Dani were riding behind us while Caleb and I gave directions to the park, once there I saw it was kind of crowded. "The fu-"
"Don't you curse in here!" Mom snapped
"Yes ma'am." I mock-saluted smirking
"Smartass spawn of mine..." She sighed as dad parked, chuckling.
"Looooove you mooooommy!" I grinned all cheeky-like
"Dude, I think everyone's crowding our chalk work..." Caleb nudged me with a grin, Kay and Dani walked to us.
"No way..." I smiled, everyone here was a possible fan? "Let's go look!" I grabbed his arm and I saw mom and the rest follow, I weaved through the crowd, and sure enough our work was in the middle, but what was really cool was I saw the girl who messaged us and two adults next to her. I guess they were her parents. They were all holding the other's hand and grinning. I felt my face stretch into a big grin. "We did well huh?" I asked Caleb
"Hells yeah we did..." He whispered back
"This is amazing Jai!" Kayla whisper yelled at me smiling her face off
"Thanks Kay, we did it last nig-"
"Jai?!" I heard someone yell my name, I glanced up and saw Mike, with what looked like Jackson right behind him
