Chapter 26: Kuro vs. Maria

While Sakura and Alice is asleep, Roderich decided to watch over them for a while. He stood up and looked at Sakura's katana. He draws it and sees blood on it. "Zhis must be Luciano's blood..." He thought. As he puts it back at a nearby table, he heard very fast footsteps. "Roderich-san! Roderich-san!" He turned around to see two siblings: Maria and Kiku. He ran towards the alchmey-made bars and worriedly said, "Are you two okay?! How about Elizabeta? Is she okay?!" Maria and Kiku smiled very simply. "Don't worry, Roderich-san! All of us are ok. How about Alice-chan and Sakura-chan? Are they alright?" Roderich nodded. He felt tears coming from his eyes. "How did we get here? We defeated the guards and plus, I destroyed the security system." Maria explained. "Now stand back, I will destroy this alchemy-made bars here." Kiku muttered. He took out his sword and sliced the bars easily. The bars and the chains disappeared into thin air. "The chains...." Roderich started. "...disappeared into thin air." Maria continued for him. "The 2ps are coming here in any moment. You three need to escape. Me, Maria, Arthur, Elizabeta and Sebastian will fight them." Kiku explained. Roderich looked at them with worried eyes. "Are you sure zhat you can do it?" he(Roderich) asked. "Hai. We can do it. You can rely on us! Be safe." Maria said. After 10 minutes of escaping, the three of them finally made it. Maria and Kiku waited for the 2ps to appear. Finally, one of them arrived. It was the man whose name was mentioned several times: Kuro Honda. Like mentioned before, he was a powerful assassin that murdered almost everyone, even the king and queen, of Ashikaga Kingdom. Maria noticed him and snickers. She finally remembered who Kuro is. He was the one who stabbed her. Maria ran up to him and slashed her sword. Kuro instantly blocked her slash and pushed her. Luckily, Kiku catched her. "You won't kill me this time, Kuro!!" Maria screamed. Kuro chuckled from her words. "Are you sure? You did get an injury, Maria. Remember the samurai code?" Kuro asked the angry Japanese. Maria once remembered it. 'Treat reticence as a virtue.'  "Nīsan. Can you leave us for a moment? I want to be alone with Kuro." Kiku left and now its just only Kuro and Maria together. Maria has a katana necklace that can turn into a real one. She removed it from her neck and did turn into a real one. Her black eyes turned into red, symbolizing blood and death. Kuro's evil aura surrounded him, making Maria nervous for this fight. Was she going to die for real? No, she isn't going to. In fact, she is strong and serves as one of the samurais fighting in war. For a second, Maria thought, "I could use my new powers to defeat Kuro once and for all. My nīsan counts on me. My allies count on one of the strongest Japanese samurai. My kingdom needs me. I shall do this until my real death!" Maria took her katana, focusing on her powers, finally letting out some red and white aura. The flag colors of Japan. Kuro knew about this spell and takes out his katana tries to stab her. She quickly dodges it and attacks him instead. He lost few amounts of blood, but he's fine. After trying to concentrate, he slashed his sword to slice Maria's chest. He tried, and did. Maria was extreme pain for that injury. Maria's aura changed to blue, red and white, symbolizing the flags of Alfred and Arthur's countries. Maria's katana sliced Kuro's arm and leg. Until, Maria got an idea to distract him. She would give him a fan and if he liked it, she would secretly go at his back and stab him from behind. She did the plan, and it worked. "I was so proud of you, Maria...." Kuro whispered into Maria's ear. This shocked Maria. Kuro had never been like this before. He smiled and looks at her face and caresses it. "Ha. I remember this face. So kind..." Kuro recalled. Still in the shock, Maria lets go of her sword. "Why, Kuro....why..why did you do this?" she asked. Her body was shaking. Her fists were angry. Her eyes are returning to its original colors. She looks at the injured 2p and shouts, "How could you be this evil to me in 1945?! My people suffered from you, yet you killed my armies and lost some backup. But you? You just bombed my cities and killed my men! I was so hurt from you did in WW2, I wanted to have revenge from you!" Kuro still smiles, even though Maria said some negative things. "That's true that I bombed and killed your men, but I was also hurt for what I have done to you, as well. Gomenasai, Maria-chan...." He walks slowly, approaching her. Maria backs away from him. "Go away!" Maria screams. Kuro stops her and hugs her, even with his injury from her. His red eyes form red tears, but the color was unnoticeable. His heart was trying to tell something. Something very important to her. A hole has formed in Maria's heart, not knowing what kind of past Kuro has. Kiku watches from afar, very happy with her. "So, who won?" Kiku asked the two. Kuro smiled at his counterpart. "I guess your imōto won against me." Maria looked at Kuro, shocked. "Me?! Are you nuts, baka?!" Kuro had his tsundere face looking at Maria. "Oi! If I told my counterpart that you won, accept it, kono yaro!" he shouted. Kiku just laughs at the two. "Maria-chan, let's go now, shall we?" Maria looked at him happily. "Hai!" Kuro smiled again at the siblings. "I should have confessed Maria that I am her big brother too, huh?" he thought.

Dang, this chapter had 1,ooo words! Possibly one of my longest chapters. XD Baka literally means idiot and kono yaro means son of a bitch or something. AND THAT RUSSIA THINGY AT THAT MESSAGE WAS SO CUTE! (Spasibo, da!) Haha, the main reason why I didn't update last March because I have a fever and shit, so I have to rest. Ugh, my head hurts again... (Do you want vodka, da?) Nah, maybe next week. (; - ;) Anyways, While i was searching something from the internet, I saw no accurate pictures for it. And, yeah. I know WW2 even though i am a child. ^^ History lover~ So, yeah. I can start a Ask the nations in Hetalia or something. Send me a question when i make the first part, ne? Arigato!
