*CLASS DISMISSAL*
"Want to hangout?" -tanong sa akin ni Bret kasama ang anim na lalaki na nasa likod niya.
"Don't worry, our girlfriends will be there." -sabi ni Charles.
"My girlfriend wants to meet you, too." -sabi ni Bobby.
"Sorry, I can't. I have important stuff to finish today." -I lied.
They just gave me an unsatisfied look. By the way, barkada ko na din sila. Classmates lang kami at magkakilala na kami ni Bret.
"Maybe next time. I'll come." -dugtong ko para umalis na sila.
"Next time, Gaille ah. You should make sure of that." -paga-asure sa akin ni Bret.
"YES, of course. Send my regards and thanks to Mary for the chocolates, too. Tell her, we'll plan our date together soon." -sagot ko kay Bret at nagsmile.
Mary is Bret's girlfriend. Bret introduced me to her this morning. She called Bret as B.I. instead of babe or bae or even their official endearments to each other. I just found Bret and Mary so cute together. Bret loves kissing Mary in the forehead and Mary loves kissing him in his jaw. I just admire their relationship but I admire Mary the most for being caring to Bret. She even brought me chocolates and I love it. I just love her already. Mary is so kind to me.
"Okay. I will." -Bret says and smiles at me.
Okay, BACK TO VINCENT CULLENS!
I texted him today to meet me at the rooftop again. Same time but he didn't showed up again like he did to me last time.
HE JUST MADE ME MONSTER TODAY. SO, I CALLED HIM.
"I'm glad you answer."
[V: glad you call.]
"Haven't you received my message?"
[V: I received.] -maikling sagot niya.
"We need to talk."
[We are already talking to each other.]
"In person not through the phone. Where could I meet you?"
[Riggs Building. Room 1295]
Bago ako makapagcomplain, pinatay niya na ang linya namin. DAMN! NOT IN THAT ROOM WHERE HE IS STAYING LIKE WTH!
But right now, I just found myself standing in front of his door #1295. Kumatok ako.
He opened the door revealing him only wearing a spongebob boxers. He's topless. Pawis na pawis siya. Pawis na pawis ang buong katawan niya including his face.
"Come in." -alok niya sa akin.
"No. You come out here. We're not going to talk there inside your room. We're going to talk up there at the building's rooftop." -naiinis kong sabi sa kanya.
"Okay. I'm just gonna get some clothes." -matamlay na sagot niya.
Looks like he's sick. May sipon siya at pulang-pula ang mata niya. Hindi naman siya nakainom kasi hindi siya amoy alak.
"Forget it." -sabi ko at pumasok sa room niya.
"Dito na lang tayo magusap."
Nakakadistract pa rin ang katawan niya. Damn! Don't look at his body, Gaille, You're not like this.
Pumunta siya sa may sofa at humiga siya dun na nakadapa at pinikit ang kanyang mata.
"Please, don't sleep."
"I'm not sleeping, I just closed my eyes. My head's burning. Just say what you want to say, I'm gonna listen." -sagot niya na nakapikit pa rin.
May sakit nga siya. Dahil siguro 'to kahapon.
"Umuwi ka na, V."
"Sorry, I'm not gonna do that."
"Why do you keep chasing me? Why not just give up?"
"That's out of my vocabulary."
"Kung napatawad na kita, aalis ka na? Babalik ka na ba dun?"
He's answering me with his eyes still closed.
"No."
"You're insane."
"I have my plans."
"Ano ba talaga ang plano mo ha?"
"Why would I tell you?"
"V, hinahanap ka na dun. Bumalik ka na. Umuwi ka na. Paano kung malaman 'to ng parents mo? Wag mong gawing miserable ang buhay mo."
"No."
"Wag mo na akong isipin. Isipin mo na lang na hindi tayo nagkakilala. V, why are you still here?"
This time tinignan niya ako. Eye to eye contact with V.
"I'm here because you're here."
"Don't be so childish."
"I'm not."
Umupo ako. Ang hirap niya talaga kausapin.
"Can you please get me a glass of water?" -utos niya sa akin. Pinikit niya na naman ang mga mata niya.
Hindi ko sana papansinin yun pero sa sitwasyon niya ngayon hindi niya talaga kayang tumayo. Hinawakan ko ang noo niya. Damn! 100°!
"The water, Gaille. Please include my medicine."
"Kumain ka na ba?"
Hindi niya ako sinagot.
"KUMAIN KA NA BA?" -tanong ko ulit. This time nilakasan ko na ang boses ko para marinig niya talaga.
"Shh.. Don't shout please." -matamlay na sabi niya.
"Then answer me."
"Not yet."
"Magpapakamatay ka?"
"No, I still need to marry my future wife."
Wala na talaga siya sa katinuan niya. Damn! I'm not good at this. Hindi ako nagluluto.
"Lola, hindi pa siya kumakain."
I asked my Granny to come over and prepare him some soup para mainitan naman ang tiyan ng lalaking 'to.
"Okay, I'll just buy the ingredients I need."
Lumabas si Lola at naiwan ako sa natutulog na V dito sa sofa pa rin. Nakaupo naman ako sa carpet niya dito at nakaharap sa kanya.
"Ligo-ligo ka pa kasi sa ulan. You deserve that." -sabi ko sa kanya habang natutulog siya.
"I can hear you." -he says and smiles. Nakapikit pa rin ang mga mata niya.
"I don't really care." -sagot ko sa kanya.
"Thank you, Gaille." -sabi niya sa akin. Kahit hirap siya idilat ang mata niya, idinilat niya pa rin ito para lang makita ako.
"It's no big deal." -sagot ko sa kanya at nagiwas ng tingin.
"I love you."
Natigilan ako sa sinabi niya. Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin.
"I love you, Gaille." -sabi niya ulit at inabot ang kamay ko.
"No, V. No."
"Gaille, stop being indenial. Alam kong hindi mo ako matitiis. Tell me you love me, too."
"Don't force me, V."
"I'm not forcing you. Alam kong yan ang gustong isigaw ng puso mo. You just don't want to spit it out because you don't trust me."
Paano niya nahulaan lahat ng yun?
"Mas mabuti pang magpahinga ka na lang para makauwi ka na sa inyo."
Umalis ako para pumunta sa kwarto niya. Kumuha ako ng t-shirt at kumot mula doon sa mini-closet.
"Wear this." -sabi ko sa kanya.
Tumayo siya at kinuha ang t-shirt.
"I'm sorry." -sabi niya sa akin.
Hindi ko mabilang kung nakailang sorry na siya sa akin. Gusto ko naman talaga siyang patawarin pero hindi pa muna ngayon. I still need to redeem myself.
Sa gabing ito, siya lang inakaso ko. Dahil gabi na, kailangan na naming umuwi ni Lola.
"You can stay here Gaille to take care of your boyfriend." -sabi ng lola ko.
Gusto ko sabihin kay lola na hindi ko boyfriend si V. Hindi pa ako nakapagsinungaling sa kanya. Nasabi na rin ni V kaya paninindigan ko na lang.
"I still have classes tomorrow, lola."
"Nagpaalam ka na ba sa kanya?"
"Ofcourse."
Today is another day. Maulan pa rin... I mean, sobrang lakas ng ulan. Bagyo na siguro talaga 'to. I hope okay na si V ngayon. Iniwan ko lang naman siya kahapon sa room niya.
Tumawag naman si Sam sa phone ko.
[Samantha: GAILLE, YOU NEED TO COME OVER. AS IN, RIGHT NOW.] -nagaalalang sagot agad ni Sam sa akin pagkapick-up sa call.
"Wait, Sam? Where? Calm down, please. Is there any problem?"
[Samantha: It's V. Inuwi siya ng mommy niya kaninang madaling araw dito. Tapos wala pa ngayon ang parents niya because of the urgent business meeting. Hindi namin alam kung saan yung business meeting. His mom called us to come over here. Nagwawala siya, Gaille. Nasuntok niya pa si Jimin.]
"What? Okay lang ba si Jimin?"
Nakauwi na pala siya.
[Samantha: Okay lang si Jimin pero si V hindi. His breaking his things inside his room. Gustong pumasok ni Jin to confront him pero natatakot ako. We need you here.]
"6 hours ang byahe, Sam. I can't make it."
[Samantha: V is waiting for you here. He's looking for you.]
Damn! Bakit ang hirap nito? Kahit maulan, I still went to the bus station. It's already 9 in the morning. Malakas pa din ang ulan. I can't believe that I'm heading there for V.
It's already 4pm nang nakarating ako. Pinagbuksan ako ni Sam ng gate.
"I miss you." -sabi niya sa akin at niyakap ako.
"I miss you, too." -niyakap ko siya pabalik
"Nandun sila sa loob."
Nasa sala silang lahat including Jude. I damn missed him.
"V is in his room. Hindi pa siya kumakain." -sabi ni Jimin.
"Alam niya ba na pupunta ako?"
"No, but he's expecting you." -sagot ni Jimin.
"Ako na ang bahala sa kanya."
Pumunta ako sa taas. Kumatok ako sa kwarto niya. It's open kaya pumasok ako.
Nakayuko lang siya. Nakaupo sa kama niya. Makalat ang buong kwarto niya. Mga basag na vase na nagkalat.
"V, it's Gaille." -nakayuko pa rin siya.
May sugat ang kamay niya.
"Are you happy now? I'm already messed up." -cold na pagkakasabi niya.
Nilapitan ko siya.
"Why are you here? I thought you don't like me anymore. You should leave me leave me now." -sabi niya at naiwas ng tingin.
"Look what I've done. I am like this and you're probably hating me right now. You can leave me if you want." -dagdag niya pa.
Sinamahan ko siyang umupo sa kama niya.
"I won't leave you right now. I'm not gonna do that."
Napatingin siya sa akin sa sinabi ko. Hinawakan ko ang braso niya pero he didn't mind it. Kaya niyakap ko siya pero madali lang.
"You should not be sorry, V." -sabi ko sa kanya at hinawakan ang kamay niya.
"Do you really love me?" -tanong ko sa kanya. He nods.
"Then look at me." -sabi ko at nagsmile sa kanya.
"Is that really you, Gaille?" -tanong niya sa akin.
"Of course. I don't want to see you like this anymore." -sagot ko sa kanya.
Iniwan ko muna siya para kunin ang first-aid kit niya sa banyo niya. Ginamot ko ang sugat niya and wrap it with bandage.
"Don't do this next time, okay?" -sabi ko sa kanya.
He was just staring at me the whole time. Lumapit ako sa kanya to peck a kiss through his lips. Nabigla ako sa ginawa ko.
"Why did you do that?" -tanong niya sa akin. This time, he's smiling at me. He smiled already.
"Why are you asking? You are my boyfriend." -I told him and smiled.
"Did you just said that? Oh, yes! You are mine now." -sabi niya at binuhat niya ako. He looks like he is so happy. Parang kanina lang nagwawala daw siya.
"Oh, put me down." -pero hindi niya ako pinakinggan.
Binuhat niya ako at umupo siya sa sofa na nasa kwarto niya and I am sitting on his lap. I am not comfortable. Tatayo na sana ako para tumabi sa kanya pero pinigilan niya ako.
"Just sit here on my lap."
Sinunod ko na lang siya. Nakahawak siya sa beywang ko.
"Do you really accept me as your boyfriend? Real boyfriend already?" -natawa ako sa tanong niya. It was fake before and now it's for real.
"My lola's worrying about you though. I've never done lying to her. Panindigan natin ang sinabi mo sa kanya. Loko ka!"
Tumawa lang siya sa sinabi ko.
"Do it again, Gaille."
I put my arms around his neck. I already what he really mean but I need his confirmation.
"Do what?"
"Your lips on my lips."
I do what he said and he respond to me directly. I closed my eyes and feels his lips through my lips. His lips were soft and thin. Really suits me. We never done this kiss before. His kiss were careful and tender. No rush, no pressure.
"I love you." -he said against my lips.
"I love you, too."
"Please, stay with me tonight."
"Sure." -I answered then he kiss me again.
No more hate. I just want him to be mine. I am a straight-forward person though.
