GAILLE's POV
Hindi ko pa rin makalimutan ang smirk ni V kagabi. Can't believe sinundan niya ako dito?
Sa kalagitnaan ng discussion ng teacher namin sa Algeb ay nag text siya sa akin.
May kasama pang banta 'tong text niya. How dare him text me this way?! GRRR!
When I got here sa rooftop, nandito na rin siya.
"Oh, ano na?" -tanong ko sa kanya.
Lalapitan na sana niya ako pero pinigilan ko siya.
"Let's talk like this. 3 meters away from each other."
Sinunod niya naman ang sinabi ko.
Nandito kami sa rooftop. Walang studyante dito. Kami lang dalawa.
"Buti naman at pumunta ka sa usapan natin."
"Of course, I'm not like you though."
Kumunot ang noo niya sa sinabi ko.
"I'm sorry though but how could you left without you letting me know? Bakit hindi mo sinabi na aalis ka sa araw na iyon?"
"Kailangan ko pa bang ipaalam yun sayo? Wala ka namang pakialam sa akin, diba?"
"Ano ba Gaille! Please, wag mo namang gawin sa akin 'to. Wag ka naman ganito sa akin."
"Ang alin, V?" -napasmirk ako sa sinabi niya. Damn!
"Being so cold to me."
"Ahh yun ba? Ginaya lang naman kita. Haven't you notice it?"
Napayuko siya sinabi ko.
"I'm sorry. Kasalanan ko lahat ng ito. Nadala lang ako sa galit ko nun. I never thought it will turned out this way. I'm sorry."
"Ewan ko. Ngayon break na kayo ni Kaylee saka mo pa ako mapapansin? What's with you, V?"
"Kung gusto mo, pwede mo akong gantihan Gaille. Patawarin mo lang ako. Please bumalik ka na."
"Wala akong balak maghiganti, V. Ang gusto ko lang ay mapalayo."
"I'm sorry na, Gaille. Kasalanan ko lahat."
"Mabuti at alam mo."
"Please, I'm begging you Gaille. Nagsisisi na ako. It was you all the time. I love you."
"What happened?"
"Kaylee came. I was distracted af."
Nagkaroon kami ng dalawang minuto na katahimikan at nagsalita siya ulit.
"The worst thing fate can do is, show you the right person at the wrong time. I know, you are that right person from the very start. That's why I was waiting for the right time. Guess what happens, it was a wrong time again."
I was just nodding at him when he said that. Please tell me, he was just joking.
"How did you wait for that right time, Vincent? What did you do so that you can't be bored waiting for that right person?" -tanong ko sa kanya na natatawa pa.
"I used Kaylee. I thought magseselos ka sa kanya. I thought marerealize mo na ako talaga para sa'yo. But these strange feelings of mine towards Kaylee came back."
Akala ko hindi niya ako sasagutin but he was brave.
He confessed to me that night. Jude's already my boyfriend that time and then I was shocked he's with a girl later in the morning. He introduced her as his new girlfriend to us. He just used Kaylee?

"I am afraid of being rejected, Gaille. You doesn't feel the same way. I want us to stay friends instead because I love it when you're around me."
"Why did you neglect me as your friend then?"
"Because I hate you. It feels like you just dumped m, you gave up on me, you rejected me and it feels like you gave me to Lucy and Kaylee. You supports me for Lucy and Kaylee. I hate that. I only want you but I even can't. So, I started being mean to you. I want to avoid you."
Nakikita ko ng pamumula ng mata niya ngayon. Umiiyak siya. Ako ba ang nagpaiyak sa kanya? Damn! I'm not like that.
"You never notice me. You never notice my feelings for you. You never listen when I confessed to you. It feels like a rejection." -dagdag niya pa.
"I noticed them, V." -sagot ko sa kanya.
"Why you didn't care?"
"I have a boyfriend at a wrong time. You were with Kaylee and I assume you really love her. Why would I court you when she's even your fiance already?Oh Rich Kids Problem."
"You should've told me on what you really feel towards me."
"We should not be selfish, V. Jude and Kaylee loved us that time and we should not disappoints them."
"But Gaille, let's start over. Begin again."
"Hindi madali 'yang sinasabi mo."
"Please, I'm begging you."
Na-feel ko na medyo umambon. Kaya binuksan ko ang payong ko. Ilang oras ay lumakas-lakas na ang ulan. Pero siya nakatayo pa din.
"Hoy, wala ka bang balak sumilong?" -sigaw ko sa kanya. Medyo madilim-dilim na.
Lumalakas na din ang ulan.
"Hindi ako aalis dito hanggang hindi mo ako napapatawad."
"Bahala ka." -umalis na ako. Iniwan ko na siya dun.
That talk with him was really drama af. Damn! I hate drama.
Nasa 5th floor na ako nasa 7th floor ang rooftop. Gamit ko ang hagdan. Lumalakas na talaga ang ulan at naisip ko si V doon sa rooftop. Nakakainis naman talaga.
Binalikan ko siya at yun nakatayo pa din ang mokong. Gusto niya siguro magkasakit. Mga 3 meters ang pagitan namin.
"Vincent! Halika na nga dito. Basang-basa ka na." -sigaw ko sa kanya.
"Ayoko. Patawarin mo na ako, Gaille. Please, wag ka nang magalit."
Hindi na ako nagsalita. Lumapit na ako sa kanya. Hinila ko na siya at bumaba na kami galing sa rooftop.
Huminto ako para kausapin siya. Nandito kami sa may hagdanan. Hindi kami gumamit ng elevator.
"Hindi mo ba iniisip ang sarili mo?"
"Wala akong time para magisip sa sarili ko." -sagot niya.
"Baliw ka na siguro."
"Baliw na nga. SAYO."
I just glared at him because of what he have said. He run his fingers through his still wet hair. He just look so cool.
"Uuwi na ako. Umuwi ka na rin. Wag ka nang bumalik pa dito. Gusto ko na manahimik." -sabi ko sa kanya. Straight in his eyes.
"I won't do that. I will do whatever I want." -sagot niya sa akin.
"Ano ba talaga ang gusto mo?"
"IKAW." -he answers directly.
"Ano ang tinatanong ko hindi SINO."
"I want my Gaille back. I don'want our memories and relationship will end up like this. Gaille and I should keep going." -sagot niya sa akin.
"Akala mo ganun lang kadali yun?"
"I didn't say anything that it would be easy."
UGH! Naisahan niya ako sa sagot niya sa akin ah. I should be the one that would be cold here not him.
"Why are you staring at me like that, Gaille?" -tanong niya sa akin with that smirk on his face again.
"Alam ko noon pa na gusto mo ako." -dagdag niya pa.
"My feelings for you were just confused, V. Ibig sabihin nun hindi naman talaga kita gusto."
Napakaconfident niya talaga sa sarili niya. Hindi naman talaga siya nagbago simula nung nagkakilala kami. Still mayabang.
He just made me feel uncomfortable around him.
"Kung wala ka nang sasabihin, aalis na ako. Uuwi na ako."
Iniwan ko na siya. This time, hindi ko na siya babalikan dun. It's worthless.
I went home by riding a cab. Maulan. May bagyo ata at sobrang traffic. Sobrang traffic halos hindi na gumagalaw ang mga sasakyan.
Nakarating na ako sa bahay. Kaming dalawa lang pala ng lola ko dito sa bahay niya with her scary but cute cats. My lola owned I think more than 15 cats. She loves it though and I support her.
"Lola, I told you that I will do the laundry and clean the kitchen." -sabi ko sa kanya.
Napansin ko kasi na napakalinis na ng kitchen. Kanina umaga lang nagkalat ang nga pusa ni lola dahil sa mga chips and stuff.
"You don't need to do the chores. Lola, I'm here. I could do it."
"I'm not the one who did that, apo."
"Who else? You hired someone?"
"Nope. He said, he's Vincent Cullens."
Damn! That guy again. HE SHOULD NOT BE AROUND MY GRANNY.
"Bakit ka nagpapasok ng hindi mo kilala sa bahay, lola? Maybe, he's a bad guy."
"Nope. He told me, he's your boyfriend. I smiled and let him in. He's indeed a nice guy, Gaille." -sabi ng lola ko na nakangiti.
WHAT?! NO WAY. NO WAY. SASABOG NA TALAGA AKO DITO.
"Did you tell mom about him?" -kinakabahan kong tanong kay lola.
"Nope. I know your mom. I won't tell her about this anyway."
Niyakap ko si Lola. She is really the best aside for my another lola who were at London right now.
Ginagawa ni V yun? He don't need to do it to impress me though or whatever his purpose is.
I should talk to him right after my class tomorrow. He should stop chasing me here. Nagaaksaya lang siya ng oras.
I checked my phone and got a text message from Sam.
NAPAKATIGAS TALAGA NG ULO NG LALAKING 'TO.
May tumawag sa akin and it's Bret. My mood suddenly changed.
[Bret: My girlfriend Mary, want to meet you tomorrow.]
"Sure, I want to meet her, too. "
[Bret: She want to thank you for taking care of me. hahaha Bati na po kami.]
"Hahaha that's good to hear for the both of you."
Yes, Bret already have a girlfriend named Mary. I'm happy for him after his sad break-up with now Jude's fiancee, Christine. Pero ngayon, nakabangon na siya mula sa kanyang pagkakadapa kay Christine.
Nagaway kasi silang dalawa kaya hindi siya pumunta sa apartment ni Bret. Sakto naman na nadun ako. They kidnapped me, remember? Lmao
[Bret: I'll hang up now. See you tomorrow, Gaille.]
"Okay. Bye."
Well, I am now really excited to meet her. I'm glad I suddenly forgot my little problem with V. I hope I could find a solution and solve this immediately.
