Since we were happy again i decided to take connie out.
It was maybe 10:30 in the morning, and i wanted to make it an all day experience, so i left her a note for when she woke up..
Meet me at the Big D at 10:50
Oh and dress niceish
I kept looking at the clock frantically
"10:47" i said to myself quietly
"Might as well order something if you're just gonna stand there all day!"
I turned around quickly
"Oh hi sadie.."
I decided..todays the day I'm gonna make up with her...fully...i missed our talks and morning hellos... I may be all grown up now, but its still nice to have a friend
"Sadie, can i talk to you..?"
She looked at me in confusion
"Sure w-whats up?"
I leaned over the counter and gave her a big hug..
"Im so sorry i've been so awful to you...i haven't been a great friend to you for the past couple of years..and i know this cant make up for it, but I'm gonna try.."
I released and had my hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes..
"So, will you ever forgive me, and be my Best Friend again?"
She shook her head and wiped a tear away..
"Yes, Steven i forgive you, Thank you.."
I smile and playfully kissed her on the cheek..
She blushed and then handed me a bag of doughnuts..
"Its on the house.."
"Thanks, you're the best."
When i turned around to check the time i noticed connie
"Oh hey! You made it!"
She was leaning on the door.. She looked mad.
"Look, i apologized to her, nothing more.."
When i walked up closer to her, i noticed she was half sleep..
I softly smiled
"Awe"
I poked her cheek
"Hey Connie.. Good morning"
She wiped her eyes
"Good morning Steven"
I grabbed her hand and laughed
"Haha come on"
I pulled her over to the bench and gave her breakfast
She bit into and i couldn't help but just stare at her
When she noticed she started blushing
I just smiled and continued eating
After about 2 1/2 ish hours of just walking through town enjoying everything i took her out for lunch...
But it was a picnic on the beach
After i set everything up i decided to grab somethings
"Illl be right back!!" I started running...and picked up some flowers and a pizza...cause i only had a drink down there...
When i got back i noticed she was just starting off into the water with her hair blowing
"Connie.. Imm backk!"
She turned around so gracefully and i started blushing..
"Wow.."
She chuckled
"Heh what?"
I shook my head snapping out of it and handed her the flowers and then set up the pizza for us to eat..
Within 20mins connie starts to get really excited
"Steven!"
"Yesssss?"
She got really close to my face basically nose to nose
"I wanna go on an adventure today!"
I smiled
"Oh really? To where exactly?"
"Some where other than here.." She smiled and kissed me
"i mean, you are the warp master"
I smiled back and stood up..
"Ok, lets go then" i held out my hand
She blushed and smiled really big
"Whoohoo!"
She basically dragged me back to the house. she was so excited
__time jump__
As the tour continued i brought her to a place were there were multiple warp pad
"And this is where gems from home world try to come here.. I think.."
"Wow what is it called?"
"Hmm i don't quit remember..its been a while.."
I looked around and noticed stickers i left here when i was a kid..
"Heh"
Then music started playing..
"Huh?" I turned around and notice connie started playing it
"Dance with me"
I smiled
"Ok."
I pulled her in close and i twirled her..and as we continued to dance.. My gem started to glow..and then
We fused.
_Stevonnie's P.o.V__
Its been a while..since we were together..
Anyway i continued to dance and then a warp began to glow..
I turned around quickly
Thats not supposed to happen..
And when it showed up...i recognized the gem..
Peridot...
I whispered to myself..
"Whose there!" The gem yelled
"Steven whose peridot" i said..
"Steven? I know of a Steven.." Peridot said..
I was crouching behind a pad, but decided to stand up
"You're not Steven..." She slanted her eyes
Ever since she left..from the last battle..i haven't spoken to her.. But she went back to her old ways..
"No, I'm stevonnie.."
She pulled out her weapon, and then i went to pull out mine..but then my stomach started to hurt
I fell to my knees and held my stomach..
"s-steven..i need to get home.."
"O-ok"
"Hmmm" peridot said..and decided to warp back..and i did the same..
When i got back i immediately fell to the floor..
Garnet comes running over picking me up..
"You alright?"
I shook my head and i headed up stairs...
We unfused as soon as i hit the bed
_Steven's p.o.v__
She laid on the bed panting and kinda crying
"Are you ok.."
"Steven" she said softly.
She looked up at me and the light reflected off her eyes and made them even more beautiful..
"Yea?" I said slightly worried
"I need to tell you something"
