I wake up with a raging headache, I look around to see that both Me and Maddie are in our dorm room. That's strange, I am wearing the same clothes as last night, the real question is what happened and how did I get here?
1 Month Later...
Abby's POV
It has been a month and thankfully not a lot has happened. Me and Maddie talked about Caiden speaking of which hasn't bothered me all month, maybe he finally came to his senses and is leaving me alone for good
We are in the hallway and I stop when I see Caiden, Maddie notices me and then turns me around
"Just talk to him"
"No Maddie. He's a jerk"
"He's not that bad-" She is cut off by my phone ringing. That's weird, it's from an unknown number. I pick it up with full curiosity
"Hello?"
"Hey sweetie"
"Umm who the hell is this?"
"It's your mother baby"
"I don't have a mother, so you have the wrong number-"
"I most certainly don't. I gave birth to you and your brother, I'm pretty sure that I know who you are Abigail" She says and I seethe through my teeth
"It's Abby. You do not have any right to call me after what you did" I whisper shout and Maddie looks at me with worry and I cover the phone
"I have to take this" I say while walking away. Once I am where nobody can hear me I start shouting
"What do you want Victoria" I spat and I hear her laugh on the other end
"You can call me mom-"
"I can buy I won't. You are nothing but DNA and blood to me"
"Well I want to rebuild our relationship"
"Well I don't. It's been 7 and a half years since you kicked me out! I was 13 and I had to fend for myself, you have no idea how hard that was for me. I watched as all the kids celebrated their birthdays and holidays while I stayed in the shadows unhappy and grieving. You automatically blamed me for what happened that day-"
"That's because your a little nuisance! You saw him and you did nothing-"
"THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO! He was going to do it anyway, but of course you f*cking blamed it on me and made me feel awful. Tell me, did you send me the letters?! Because if you did then your the nuisance, you made me feel even more pain. YOU KICKED ME PUT AND YOU KNEW THE TRUTH! You found the letters that day didn't you?" She doesn't answer
"DIDNT YOU?!" I shout and I can hear her crying
"Yes but-"
"There's no buts mother! You knew the truth yet you still left your daughter who just lost her best friend out in the cruel and cold world! Was it because of Caiden? Huh?! Because he was not the problem, it was you! You pressured him to be perfect and that's why he joined football. If that never would have happened then he would still be here! It's your f*cking fault that this family is even more broken now then it was back then, so you can take your sappy apology and shove it all the way up your ass, maybe it will give you a brain but I highly doubt it. Don't ever contact me again" I shout while hanging up the phone
I turn around the corner only to see Caiden so I scream and then slap him "you scared me!" I shout and he chuckles
"Sorry, I came to check on you. I saw that you looked upset so I followed you"
"So what did you do? Listen to my conversation?!" I shout and he puts on an innocent smile
"Of course you did" I say with pure anger while storming off but I get a raging pain in my head
"Hey, you okay?"
"I loved you too and your not stupid. Loving you was not my biggest mistake, not being there when you needed me was. I was not there, your right. I was a little 14 year old coward to afraid to admit the truth about Jack. I turned to my player ways and that was one of the biggest mistakes of my life and I made many but loving you was never one. Now, your not gonna remember this and your gonna go back to making me the image of the biggest duchebag in the world, and I do not care if you have bad breath, I am doing this one last time because I know you'll never let it happen again" He says while leaning in and kissing me and I kiss him back
Once I catch my breath, I push him off. "I'm fine. What happened that night at the party?"
"Umm, nothing you just got really drunk and almost passed out so Anthony took you upstairs" he says and I laugh
"For once can you stop freakin lying to me! I remember what happened! You kissed me and I kissed you back so stop lying to me. I said things and you said things, we equally exchanged words. God! I am so tired of all the lies and the falseness, for once can we have a society where everything is nice and dandy and people don't get hurt!" I scream as I fall against the wall
"Abby, Abby talk to me" he says and images flash through my head of the night he killed himself.
"People aren't always what they seem Abby" I finally understand. He wasn't talking about Caiden, he was talking about mom... Oh my god.
"Abby calm down" Caiden says and my breaths become shorter
"I c-can't b-b-breathe, Ca-Caiden" I choke and all flashes hit me.
Wes, you don't have to do this" I say and a tear slips down his face
"People aren't always what they seem Abby" He says while raising the knife to his throat
"NO!" I yell while running up to him but before I know it, he's gone. I scream out for my mom and dad, I scream out for him

"Oh my gosh! Caiden Baxter is asking me to dance? I'd love to!" I say like a cheerleader from the movies and he gives me a questioning look
"Really?"
"No" I say dryly and he laughs
"Come on, I'm not that bad of a dancer"
"Your not going to leave me alone are you?" I ask and he smiles
"You know me so well. How about that dance?" He says and I roll my eyes

"That's sweet and gross at the same time. But in a good way, Caiden I really like you and all... But I don't know if I am ready to have a relationship with you yet. After all, half of this year I was convinced that you killed my brother"
Killed my brother... Killed my brother... Killed my brother.... It just keeps repeating in my head to a point where I grab my head and start crying
"Make *breath* it *breath* stop! *breath*" I cry out as I try to catch my breath but I can't. It just keeps coming
"I don't want you in my house!Get out!"
"B-but mom, I'm your daughter-"
"Not anymore. You could have prevented this. It's your fault that my baby is dead! Get out, get out NOW!"
"Where am I going to go?"
"I don't f*cking care! Anywhere but here! Get out!" She shouts and I run out of the house crying. That was the last breath I took before everything went black
Caiden's POV
She breathes in and then just stops. Her eyes close and that's when I panic
"Abby? Abby come on wake up, ABBY? Abby stop playing around wake up" I shake her but she doesn't move
"ABBY!" I shout while shaking her and she doesn't respond. So I start screaming "HELP! PLEASE! SOMEBODY HELP ME!" I scream at the top of my lungs, I look at her and start crying
A few minutes later, Anthony and Maddie hear me screaming and they dash over to us
"What the hell happened?!" Anthony shouts and I break down
"I-i don't know she just panicked!" Anthony checks her pulse
"She's not breathing. She's going into Psychogenic Shock. We need to get her to the infirmary now or she might not make it" Anthony says and Maddie stars crying
"Sterilize her head" He shouts and Maddie holds her head while I grab her legs and Anthony grand her arms and we rush to the infirmary
"MOVE PEOPLE THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!" I shout and everyone moves out of the way. We make it to the infirmary and hand her to the doctors, Anthony explains what's happening to her and they tell us to sit down while they do their jobs.
Now we wait, oh god. Please I pray let her be okay
