Here I was sitting in some abandoned mansion waiting around for Edith's witchy friend, I had left New Orleans after my phone call with Katherina, Kat had told me all about Elena shoving the cure down her throat and how Silas sucked her dry and now she was dying of old age, the one good thing was that she had finally been reunited with her long lost daughter who surprise, surprise was a vampire.
Marcel had been upset with my leaving but I had to save Katherina, not just because she was the only person who could win Elijah's heart and keep him away from the pregnant wolf, but it would drive Niklaus crazy to have her around. I had also bonded with the doppelganger and she had become a friend of sorts I was properly the only person in the world who understood the evil doppelganger.
"You're leaving but you just got here" Marcel said as I packed a bag.
"I'm sorry Marcellus but I have to do this she is part of my plan, and Katherina Petrova dying is not an option" I explained, Marcel looked away sighing heavily.
"I promise I will be back as soon as possible, I'll be gone a week max" I promised pulling my son into a hug. I pulled back and kissed his cheek.
"Did you get what I asked for?" I questioned. He nodded and handed me both Rebekah and Niklaus phones, Elijah had got a new one after Nik had destroyed his after he daggered him. I looked at both phones and saw missed calls from Damon Salvatore. I didn't need anyone knowing about Katherina's impending death before I had the chance to save her.
"Thank you my darling, oh and one more thing keep an eye on Elijah and the wolf slut I don't need there affection for one another growing, it will be much harder to kill her after the child is born if Elijah falls in love with her."
"No problem mom, I'll try my best" Marcel agreed.
"Such a good son" I laughed kissing his cheek once again before leaving the room.
I had told Niklaus I had business in Miami to finish, and left without further explanation. I then made a phone call to Edith De Martel sister of Aurora and Tristan she was the first person I ever turned, it was over a thousand years ago. She and her family had helped me run from Niklaus, when I left him in the 1950s, Edith was also part of the Strix, an elite organisation of vampires created by Elijah centuries ago, but that Elijah was no longer a part of.
Edith had bright green eyes, long wavy brown hair and sun kissed skin, many men had fallen for her over the centuries most had died as a result, Edith was strong willed, sarcastic, yet kind. Although she shared some of her looks with her younger sister she was nowhere near as crazy as Aurora.
"Where is she Edith?" I snapped.
"She will be here Thyra relax" Edith said calmly. Edith had put me in touch with a witch who had the power of necromancy; the Strix had used her plenty of times. Edith said she was the best of the best, but the witch was getting greedy so in exchange for help I had to dispose if the witch afterwards.
"She better be worth my time Edith" I huffed.
"Indeed I am" a voice said, I whirled around and saw a woman now stood in the rundown house, she had black hair, paper white skin and piercing blue eyes, she looked like death, fitting I suppose due to her gift.
"And who might you be darling?" I smirked knowing exactly who the necromancer was.
"I am Alexandra, call me Alex" she said in a thick Russian accident.
"That is my queue" Edith said standing up grabbing her coat.
"Your leaving?" I questioned.
"Not that I haven't had a great time catching up with my lovely sire, but I have business elsewhere" Edith smiled. I grinned in return and pulled her into a tight hug.
"It was wonderful to see you love, give my best to Tristan and Aurora" I replied kissing both of her cheeks. She nodded and in the blink of an eye Edith was gone.
"So I assume you have been informed of the task" I spoke to Alex the witch/necromancer.
"Yes you want me to bring the doppelganger Katerina Petrova back to life once she has past" Alex said, her Russian accident butchering the English language.
"Good shall we be off" I smiled clapping my hands.
"I need something's in order to do the ritual"
"Well speak up Alex" I was getting frustrated with the Russians short answers.
"I need blood from doppelganger before and doppelganger after" she informed me.
"Slight problem, my sister the first doppelganger has been dead for a millennia and the other is a vampire, so please tell me you can do the spell some other way" I ranted.
"Bone from first will do, and vampire blood is still blood that flow through second" she stated as if we were talking about the weather.
"Well getting blood from Elena will be simple I'll hold her down if I have to. Getting one of my sister's bones for you might me a little difficult, I don't suppose you can do a locater spell Alexandra".
Mystic Falls (TVD Season 5 Episode 11)
I sped through the streets of MysticFalls heading to the Salvatore where Katherina was, a shiver flew up my spine at the thoughts of digging up my sisters resting place last night.
I was in the woods beside the old waterfall, in mystic falls, a thousand years ago this was the place Elijah and Tatia would meet to be alone, after my sister was killed Elijah had buried Tatia in their special place. I knew she was buried here but where I didn't know, well that was until Alex had done a locater spell to find the grave. I watched as two compelled humans dug my sister up.
"We found bones" one of them informed me.
I hopped into the hole and bent down, I looked around the grave, looking for conformation that this was indeed Tatia, a piece of silver caught my eye, I bent down and grabbed the bit of silver. I cleaned it off with my fingers and saw old Viking makings.
"Tatia" the makings said. I reached under my blouse and pulled out a similar piece of silver that hung on a modern silver chain, it had the same type of makings except mine said "Thyra" mother and father have given the necklaces to us as children. I bent back down and put the silver back in place beside my sisters bones.
"Forgive me Tatia" I whispered.
I had gotten one of Tatia's bones and given it to Alex, now all I had to do was get Elena's blood and Katherina and I could once again get the hell away from this danger magnet of a town. Soon enough I pulled up to the Salvatore boarding house, I smirked ready to ruffle a few feathers.
I listened at the door for moment, I heard a thick accent explain that they had locked Matt in a safe. I assumed this was Kats daughter Nadia. Katherina had told me her daughters plan to save her using traveller magic but that was just a disaster waiting to happen, especially when she told me her plans to jump into Elena's body.
I decided it was time to make my entrance I walked in quietly and started clapping slowly. Everyone tuned to face me; Damon, Stefan, Elena, Jeremy, Bonnie and Caroline looked at me with a mixture of anger, hate and fear.
"You are definitely your mother's daughter" I smirked eyeing up Nadia who looked at me with confusion.
"Who the hell are you?" Nadia questioned.
"Thyra Mikaelson born Thyra Petrova, your great, great, great and so on ... aunt" I laughed.
"Come to say your goodbyes wifey" Damon glared.
"I've come for Katherina, because if you all think I'm going to let her die in the presence off people she hates you are horribly wrong" I spat.
"She's too weak to move" Stefan explained.
"Did I give you an option ripper" I glared.
"Jeremy Gilbert, didn't I have Katherina kill you" I bragged, looking at the little Gilbert, who glared at me.
Elena growled and ran for me, I caught her by the neck and turned her to face everybody her back against my front, and then I grabbed a syringe from my pocket plunging it into her back taking her blood, while at the same time digging my nails into her neck.
Blood poured from her neck wounds, she hissed from the pain in her neck not feeling me remove the blood with my syringe. I pulled the needle out and placed it back in my jacket pocket making sure no one saw.
"Now Elena I'd advise you to not do that again otherwise I'd have to remove you're pretty little head from your body" I sneered, pushing her to the ground.
"Now if you want Nadia here to give up Matt's location I suggest that none of you touch me" I spat at the rest of the group.

I didn't know why the travellers needed their blood nor did I care, but to get Nadia on my side I had to give her this. Elena, Stefan headed towards the door soon afterwards.
"Thank you Thyra" She replied with grateful expression, I knew she was thanking me for saving her mother who she barley knew yet.
When the car pulled out of the driveway, Caroline, Jeremy and Bonnie got up to go look for.
"You might want to try, north east of the estate, beside an old cherry tree" I mused leaning against the stairs on my way up to see Katherina.
"Why would you help us?" Jeremy asked suspiciously.
"My sister Rebekah has a thing for the human and I hate seeing her upset" I shrugged walking up the stairs.
I walked into the room and saw Katherina lying there asleep looking frail Damon by her side with an evil grin on his face. I knew he was tampering with her memories he then lifted up a pillow and went to place it over her face. I sped forward and grabbed him by the back of the neck flinging him backwards.
"Bad boy" I laughed.
"You're still here?" Damon groaned standing up.
"Of course I am, I told you I was taking her" I replied.
"Why?"
"I told you I'm not leaving her here to die surrounded by people who hate her" I spoke repeating my earlier statement.
"Why don't you tell me the real reason Thyra" Damon smirked coming closer, as if flirting would make me tell him.
"Oh Damon what would the lovely Elena say about flirting with the person she hates most in the world well besides Kat" I flirted back running my hand down his chest.
"Haven't you heard Thyra, Damon finally got the girl only to breakup with her" Katherine laughed weakly, Damon glared at the doppelganger making me laugh.
"There's my girl" I grinned walking towards Katherina kissing her cheek; Kat smiled a rare smile towards me.
"Damon really, I'm so disappointed, the Damon I remember took what he wanted no excuses" I said turning back to face him.
"He was so afraid to dirty her white dove feathers that he let her little wings fly free, and it was all my fault, oops" Katherine smirked, Damon's face grew angry and he grabbed a syringe and stabbed Katherina in the arm.
"What the hell did you do?" I shouted.
"Relax it's a sedative, it will shut her up for a while" Damon explained, making me glare at him.
"As much as I hate Elena, you are an idiot, seriously you follow her around like a puppy for years only to dump her" I scoffed.
"Well not everyone can have a perfect marriage like yours" he said making me flinch at his statement.
"I've actually decided to move on from Niklaus, after a thousand years I'm finally done with my marriage" I informed the dark haired vampire.
"So you've finally seen the light" Damon laughed.
"Now if only you got over your obsession with the doppelgangers, we could finally get together old friend" I smirked licking my lips seductively, as I walked closer to him.
Damon swallowed thickly as I inched my lips closer. I leaned up and proceeded to bush my lips against his, it had been decades since I had kissed Damon. The last time it had been a simple goodbye kiss before I compelled him to forget me, that was back in 1977, when we had been friends, best friends, I had given him back his memories when I had come back to Mystic Falls over a year ago.
My thoughts where interrupted by Damon grabbing the back of my head and crashing his lips to mine, the kiss was intense, full of hunger and need, I grabbed his raven coloured locks pulling them tightly making him groan. He grasped my hips tightly lifting me up in the air making me wrap my legs around his waist.
The next thing I knew my back was against a mattress, Damon pulled away from my lips and started kissing down my neck I looked around a realized we were in his bedroom, I turned my attention back to Damon whose crystal blue eyes bore into mine, I smiled slyly and ripped open his shirt making buttons fly everywhere he looked at me in amusement as his hands ran along my torso.
"What are you waiting for Mr Salvatore" I smirked.

A while later I was getting dressed in some of Katherina's clothes as Damon had ruined my own.
"Tell have his bedrooms skills improved" Katherina asked from her spot in Stefan's bed.
"Immensely" I smirked, thinking back to my time in Damon's bed.
"Now, down to business, I have a witch waiting to bring you back from the dead, so I have to get you out of here before you kick the bucket, she has to do the spell before you're body decomposes" I explained.
"Lovely" she replied dryly.
"Then you are coming to New Orleans, Nadia can come too"
"What about Klaus I don't want him anywhere near Nadia" she panicked.
"Leave Klaus to me, I'll explain when your alive again we don't have time now"
"And, Elijah?"
"Elijah is the reason you're coming, after today no more running, lying, throwing people in front of the bus to save yourself, this is you're second chance Katherina and if you mess it up I will kill you myself. Be the person Elijah fell in love with, the girl you still are deep down, you have your daughter back and a chance with a man I know you still love deep down" I said softly.
"Thank you Thyra" she said with tears in her eyes. It was a shocking site to see. I said nothing about her tears and lifted her up in my arms zooming down to my car, I lay her in the back seat with a blanket before closing the door.
"Leaving so soon, I feel cheap" I heard Damon say from the porch.
"I'm sorry Damon" I said walking towards him. I grabbed his face and kissed his lips lightly.
"I should have screwed you in the seventies, but it was worth the wait. If you're ever in New Orleans look me up" I smirked.
"Bye wifey" he laughed.
"Goodbye Damon" I whispered, then snapped his neck so he wouldn't follow me. I then hopped into the car and drove away.
"Give me your phone" I said to Katherina, who handed it over. First I text Nadia where to meet us then, I pulled up another contact in Katherine's phone and typed quickly and hitting send, before handing it back to Kat, Katerina looked at the text and laughed weakly.
"And they say I'm evil" she teased.

A/N Thyra saves the day and sleeps with Damon haha, a lot of you asked for Thyra to get with someone else so I hope you are happy I know I am!!!
No Damon will not come to New Orleans, because a lot will happen when Thyra gets back and Damon doesn't fit into that plan, I didn't intend for them to sleep together but it just happened and I thought it would be a great way for Thyra to ruin Elena's life.

Edith won't come back into the story until Aurora and Tristan come to New Orleans. Edith was briefly mentioned in The Original Wife so I thought I'd throw her back in here.
