Horrible.
Thats how that date went. I don't think anyone of us could see where it was going.
Flashback
The drive to the restaurant was quiet. Everything seemed so awkward. Jacob and Kiara were in the other car that was driving behind us. "So tell me again why they have to come?" I asked Jen who was driving while Anna was in the passenger seat. Me and Foster sat in the back.
"She's my friend and I let her come along. Deal with it." Anna snaps at me. I go to snap at her but Foster grabs my hand. I look at him but he just shakes his head, silently telling me to just drop it.
I internally huff but stay quiet. We pull up to the restaurant a little while later. Just as I'm about to climb out of the car Foster stops me. I look at him curiously but he only smiles.
"Stay here." He says and immediately climbs out of the car. He runs to my side and opens the door for me with a big smile. I smile back shyly and take the hand he offers me.
We meet Jen and Anna at the entrance of the restaurant while we wait for Jacob and Kiara.
The pull up soon enough, Jacob climbs out of the car and walks towards us, leaving Kiara there. She frowns but doesn't say anything, silently climbing out of the car.
She makes it to the group and we all walk in. Jen asks for our reservations and the waitress immediately takes us to our table. Jen sits next to Anna while I sit in between Foster and Jacob and Kiara sits next to Anna.
"Hi I'm Joshua and I'll be your server tonight. So what drinks can I get you guys?" A guy who looks a bit older says when he reaches our table. I look at the group and catch Anna staring at him, hungrily. I keep an eye on her but she quickly looks away from him and rather looks at the menu.
We order our drinks quickly and he rushes off to get them. The table suddenly goes silent, and awkward silent. I clear my throat and go to speak but Foster beats me to it.
"So Kiara when did Jacob ask you out?"
She smiles and starts to babble on and on about how he asked her out. "So I was in History lesson when he suddenly walked in and said 'We're going out tonight' then he left. I told Anna about it then she suggested we come on this date, so here we are." She smiles widely, you can see she really likes Jacob but when I look over at him I see him starring at his phone.
I kick him under the table and grab his phone. I put it into my pocket while ignoring the glare he's throwing my way. "What about you and Foster? Are you two a couple?" Kiara asks making me chuckle. "No we're just here as friends." I say to her smiling, I feel Foster fidget next to me but he says nothing.
I hear Jacob chuckle but again he says nothing as well. I look over Jen and Anna and they seem to be in their own little world with each other. Anna suddenly excuses herself from the table and walks towards the direction of the bathroom.
As she walks past Joshua she sends him a wink then walks into the bathroom.
"Excuse me." I say standning up and walking to the bathroom. I silently creep inside, making sure not to make any noise.
"Yes...I know I'm not allowed to...yes I'm using her...Jennifer is not important to me at all, all part of the plan remember-"
I don't listen to anything else, I dash out of the bathroom and run to Jen. "Jen! We need to get out of here." I say desperately, making everyone look at me. "Why? What's wrong? Is it Dennis?" She's asks me worriedly.
"I think Anna's working for him. She's just using you Jen. She doesn't have feeling for you." I say to her honestly, I see the hurt cross her face but it hardens the next minute.
"Is it true?" She asks behind me. I turn around and see Anna standing there looking utterly confused. "Is what true?" She asks playing dumb.
"Are you just using me?"
"What? Are you crazy, Jen I like you so much. Tori's lying, just a second ago she was threatening me to stay away from you or else she would beat me up." She fake whimpers. My mouth drops to the floor as I stare at her.
"Jen thats not true! I swear, why would I do that?" I say to her as she looks in between us. "Jen please you have to believe me, look how she grabbed my arm." She says and pulls her sleeve up. It shows a huge red mark, that was just recently made, its in the shape of a hand.
Jen turns to me and glares. "How could you? You knew how important this was to me and then you go and hurt my girlfriend, then you go and accuse her of using me. Fuck you Tori. I hate you!" She yells and stomps out of the restaurant.
I run out the restaurant to try and catch Jen but she's gone. I groan and take my phone out and try to call her. She doesn't pick up.
I sigh then walk back into the restaurant. Kiara is sitting next to Jacob now and holding onto his arm for dear life.
"Jacob can we please leave? Maybe we can go out with just you and me?" Kiara says whike batting her lashes for him.
"Gawd you're annoying," He says to her, groaning, "Could you please just leave me the hell alone?" He sneers at her and pulls her off of him. She sits there shocked then tears begin to fall. She runs out the restaurant bawling her eyes out.
"What the hell Jacob-"
"Excuse me but I'm going to have to ask you all to leave please." Joshua says kindly, frankly I don't blame them for kicking us out.
All three if us stand up and leave. I don't see Kiara anywhere so she must have gotten a ride. We all climb into Jacobs car without a single word uttered. The drive to my house is long and awkward, there seems to be tension for reasons unknown, well to me at least.
As we park in my drive way I go to open my door but am stopped, again, but this time it's by both guys. I look at them strangely and they look at each other. They both climb out of the car and open fight to open the door.
Jacob pushes Foster suddenly making him fall to the ground. "What the hell!" I yell as I climb out the car. I help Foster up then glare at the both of them. "What's wrong with the two of you? This whole day you both have been acting weird with each other."
"He needs to learn to stay away when told to." Jacob sneers at Foster. Foster goes to attack him but I stop him. "She doesn't belong to you, in fact I'll prove it." Just as I go to ask what they're talking about, lips suddenly kiss mine. I'm shocked as I see its Foster.
I push him off and slap him across the face. Before I can yell he's suddenly tackled by Jacob. "You asshole!" He yells throwing punches to Foster, I look down at Foster and see that other Foster, the monster.
"Both of you stop this!" I yell ripping Jacob off. I kneel down next to Foster and make him look at me. "Calm down." I say simply and he does.
When he's calmed down enough I stand up and look at both of them.
"You two have no right to do what you just did. I see what you're both playing out but let me get this through your tiny brains. I am not some object you can claim. If you think thats who I am to you then the both of you can go fuck yourselves!" I yell then stomp into my house.
I ignore Ellies questions and just slam my door shut. I didn't lock it so he immediately comes in and lays down on the bed with me.
I sigh and place my head on his chest as he wraps his arms around me. "What happened?"
I tell him the whole story and I can't even tell which part makes him more angry, the fact that Jen didn't believe me or the fact thag Foster and Jacob used me for some game between them.
"Why do I keep getting hurt Ellie? Everyone keeps breaking me. I don't have anyone." I sigh out sadly.
His grip tightens around me. "I'll always be here for you Tori. I may not have been for most of your life but I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere. Not that you could get rid of me." I chuckle and look up at him.
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"Family time!" Clarkson yells from my door before running and jumping onto us. I love my brothers, even if I haven't know them most of my life.
Okay maybe not the whole date, but most of it was awful. I haven't spoken to the guys for over a week and Jen won't return my calls. Everytime I keep going to her house her mom tells me she's by Anna. Problem is that neither me or Jen's mom knows where Anna lives.
I hope she's okay.
Its finally Jefferys wedding today and I'm excited. We were all invited, so I'll have to see the guys today. I'll just have to play nice for now.
I can do that. Right?
