That night after Castiel and dean had gotten home from their walk cas had gone upstairs beaming like a child. They had kissed again! Balthazar had seen him but didn't question it, liking to see his brother happy again. Castiel had went upstairs looking for his book when he remembered he had left it out in the car. He got up, walking downstairs an opening the front door, seeing the poring rain. He sighed, grabbing a jacket and some shoes and running outside to the car. He grabbed his book and was going to go back inside when he saw dean run past his house, his father calling his name.
"Dean?" Cas asked but the other boy didn't stop. Cas frowned before closing the car door and taking off after the eldest Winchester.
"Dean!" He yelled but that only made dean run faster down the street, loosing Castiel about 3 blocks away from their houses. He slowed down and eventually stopped, watching his lover run around a corner and disappear. He waited for about 10 minutes before walking back to his house. But he didn't go inside. He sat on the porch outside, waiting for dean to return. But he didn't. So Castiel got up again and followed down the street where dean had gone, searching around till he finally found him sitting on the ground in a meadow, staring at his hands. Cas slowly walked over, sitting down beside him
"Dean..-"
"He found out"
"What?"
"My dad. He found out we're dating" he said making cas tense
"W-what?"
"I'm sorry cas. God I'm so so sorry" he said fighting back tears. Castiel was silent before hugging the eldest Winchester
"It's ok dean. I forgive you" he said as dean hugged back
"How? He might tell your family then..-" he was cut off when cas kissed him
"I won't let that happen. I promise" he said smiling At him. Cas wiped away his tears, kissing his cheek "I swear to god I won't let that happen. Even if they do find out they can't do anything about it" he said smiling, a hand on deans cheek. Dean gave a weak smile back
"Ok" he managed and collapsed into his lovers arms, hiding his face in his shoulder as Castiel rubbed his back. Castiel looked up at the sky, the rain falling onto his face.

Dean had been too afraid to go back home but he had too due to the fact he needed to look after Sam since john had to go on a trip for his new work, leaving the two boys home by themselves for about 3-5 days. Every time their dad phoned, dean would have about a 5 minute conversation or less before john had to go or he would pass over the phone to Sam. He was always too scared to talk to john but soon had to face him when he got home. Dean was in his room when john came in. Sam going to greet him. The eldest Winchester could hear his father and brother talking before footsteps started up the stairs, making him tense. The footsteps stopped in front of his room
"Dean?" His fathers voice echoed through his door
"Y-yeah?" He asked, trying to hide the fear rising in his voice
"Can we talk?" his father said as dean braced himself for the worst
