"Man how the hell did this shit happen?!"
"While you two were preoccupied we went to check out what was going on in the back next thing we know we were being ambushed. When everything was done they were laying on the floor bleeding out."
"What happened to the fucking plan?"
"The fucking plan went out the window when we walked in and we saw people waiting for us with damn guns and then started fucking shooting!" when we got back to the truck Spider and Jumper's bodies laid in the back dead. They had been shot multiple times and didn't have a chance.
We got back to the house and no one was in the mood to talk. I went upstairs to find my phone since we decided to leave them. When I turned my phone on I saw I had a lot of messages from Ariel. I knew she was probably pissed at me but I couldn't tell her about what we went to do. I listened to the message and cursed.
"Come on Big we gotta go," I said heading out the door with him behind me. "Where the hell we going?"
"Kelsey is in labor," I said getting in the car and driving off.
Ariel POV
"Kelsey you are not going to be able to hold this baby inside you for much longer."
"You don't fucking know that," she said squeezing my hand to death and glaring at me. "Find the one who did this to me before I kill him!" just as I was about to respond Biggy and Kameron walked in like nothing was going on. "And where the hell have you two been?!"
"We got caught up," Kameron said looking down. I noticed a bruise on his face and knew something had happened. I narrowed my eyes at him but then snapped out of it when Kelsey squeezed my hand again. "Biggy if you don't take her hand before I lose all feeling in it!" he took her hand from me and I wiggled it around to get feeling back in it. I walked up to Kameron and just grabbed his shirt pulling him out the door.
"You tell me where the hell you were or I swear Kameron I will fucking kill you," I said mad as hell. He didn't say anything but just stood there like I was fucking playing. "NOW!" people stopped to look and see what was going on but I didn't care because I was about to kill my boyfriend.
"We got a tip on where Collin was and went to check it out."
"And?"
"And we found him."
"You better tell me they are dead and that's why you didn't pick up your phone or else Kameron you are going to wish you were dead," I said stepping closer. I had just had my hand squeezed to death, my emotions all over the place, and now he was acting like he couldn't use his fucking mouth. "Your dad and him put a gun to me and Biggy head. And while we were there they ambushed our men and now Spider and Jumper are dead." I took in what he was saying and just nodded my head and went back inside. I was done with this conversation and he better hope I wasn't done with him. I was tired of being left out of the loop because all it did was make more trouble. While he was on his little adventure I could've been attacked and then what. It was shit like that, that made me want to just say fuck it.
When I got back inside the doctor was kneeled down and Kelsey was finally pushing. They said something was wrong and it was a reason she just went into labor and they needed to get the baby out immediately but Kelsey being Kelsey refused until Biggy was here. Kameron came to stand behind me but I moved and sat down. I didn't want to be around him right now.
After an hour the baby was finally here but it wasn't crying and barely breathing so they took to the back to stabilize it. Kelsey went into a frenzy saying how she couldn't lose another baby and frankly I couldn't blame her. I decided to give them their privacy and went to find some food. Just as I was about to reach the elevator I was pulled back into an empty room. "Talk to me Ariel."
"What for Kameron," I asked sitting down on the bed crossing my arms. "Look I'm sorry but I had to make a decision and I did."
"Okay so what do you want me to say? What's the point you are going to make decisions regardless of what I say?"
"It had nothing to do with that I was trying to protect you."
"And who said I wanted to be protected! The bastard came in my home and beat me unconscious and now look at your damn face!"
"I can handle myself."
"Oh so you can put yourself in danger but me I have to sit at home like a good little wife because I'm fucking PREGNANT!"
"No because I fucking love you! If I die fine but if you die I won't be able to handle it. I need you and my children to make it."
"Kameron I understand what you are saying but what do you think will happen if I lose you? I feel the same way you do and the fact you keep putting yourself in harm's way has the same effect on me. I need you here with me just like you need me here with you."
"Your dad said my dad was going to die and then I was next," he said sitting down next to me. "And you believe him?"
"I believe he's going to try," he said smirking showing me he was still his old self. "I promise I won't make a move without you. I just didn't want to bother you because I knew all this was getting to you. I just want you to have a normal life where you don't have to worry about looking over your shoulder." I grabbed his hand, "When it comes to being with you there is never going to be a normal life."
"You sure you want to be with me?"
"I think it's a little too late to ask that," I said rubbing my stomach and laughing. "Whatever." We ended up kissing which almost led to more. "We should go and see what's going on with them."
When we walked back in Kelsey was holding the cutest baby boy. He had her looks and Biggy hair, he was gorgeous. "And is this little guy," I asked taking him from Kelsey. "Say hello to Mr. Nikko Demetri Givens."
"OMG hello Nikko I am your auntie and this guy right here looking like a bad guy is your uncle and he is crazy but he is crazy about you already." He started reaching for my face and laughing it just made me want me children to be here sooner.
Soon Nikko was ripped from me by Biggy and I had no chance of getting him back.
We were all gathered in the room laughing and cooing over the baby when Kameron got a call. He looked at me and I knew something was wrong. He was now pacing and so I got up and held him in place and just wrapped my arm around his waist. His breathing was rough and harsh. When he got off the phone all eyes were on him. "What happened?"
"My mom is up but she doesn't have long," he said with sad eyes. I nodded and took his hand leading him out to go see his mom. "My dad said she relapsed and the damage to her liver was too severe. So when she woke up she went into some kind of shock and then everything started shutting down. Her body couldn't recover from the stab wounds properly." I grabbed his hand as he led us to her room. I was about to stop and let him go by himself but he wouldn't let me.
"I need you by my side right now."
"You made it," his dad said coming up to us. You could tell he was hurting but wouldn't dare let us see it. "Yea Kelsey just had her baby so we were already here."
"Well she is waiting for you."
Kameron POV
I slowly walked up to her and saw as her eyes met mine. She was pale and looked like death was circling her waiting for her to just let go. She put her hand up for me to hold so I did. When our hands connected her cold ones made my warm ones shiver. "Glad you came," she said trying to talk but it only came out as a whisper. "Couldn't let you down," I said trying to lighten the mood. "Kameron I-I love you with all my heart and I know you love me too. I need you to promise me you will not turn out like me and your father."
"What do you mean?"
"Don't let other people and things get in the way of your one true love like we did. We lost a lifetime together because of someone else don't let that happen to you."
"I won't mom I promise." She reached up and grabbed my face and pulling my down to her. "Don't let her go," she said looking at me dead in my eyes and then next thing I knew she started seizing. Within a flash she was still and the life she had left and death finally collected. I stood there not knowing what to do until Ariel pulled my hand and sat me down and laid my head in her lap and just let me cry. I didn't even know I was crying but it was the only thing I knew to do.
