-----Elena's POV -------
Sarah and I walked out to the guest house where Sofie was. I opened the door and the first thing I saw was her suitcase that she had finish packing standing next to the door. I took it and put it under my bed so she couldn't go without talking to us. She stepped out of the bathroom and looked surprised when she saw us, like she thought we had forgotten her.
"Sofie what are you doing?" I asked. She walked into the bathroom again and got some of her things, when she came back into the room she discovered that the suitcase was gone.
"Where's my suitcase?" She asked
" I will tell you we're it is when you have told us what you're doing" I said. Sarah and I sat down in Sarah's bed. Sarah moved to the side so Sofie could sit down between us but she sat down on the bed next to Sarah's. She was not happy but she wasn't mad either, she was sad. I felt really bad seeing her sad and not knowing why.
" we can sit here all night so when you feel ready to tell us we'll listen" Sarah said and grabbed a magazine. It took about five minutes before Sofie decided to tell us.
"Do you guys remember what we said before we came here?" She asked
" Yes" Sarah said and I nodded. Well I think I know what she meant.
" have this trip been like we said it should be?" She asked
I was about to say yes when I realized she was right. We haven't done anything of the things we said like see the Hollywood sign, visit the walk of fame, go to Las Vegas, New York and much more and the only thing we have done is going to Texas. And that's because of me. If I hadn't fell in love with Nick we would have done all those things. But if we had done all those things she shouldn't have a boyfriend right now. So this can't be why she want to go home.
"No" I said " I'm sorry but that's not the reason you want to go home, because I see how happy you are with Joe" she looked down at the fetes.
"Sofie why do you want to go home, you were so happy this morning" Sarah said " have something happened between you and Joe?
"No we're fine" she said then she took a deep breath before she continued. " we're going to forget each other".
Sarah and I looked at each other and understood that we're going to go to the same university in England for a year and Sofie is going to be home in Sweden.
" no we're not, we have known each other since kindergarden and we will stick together till we die" Sarah said and walked over and sat down next to Sofie at her bed.
" yeah and we have had our ups and downs but we have got through it together" I said and sat down on the other side next to Sofie.
" but you two are going to be in an another country" she said
" you can come with us" Sarah said
" yeah you don't have a job so you can try to get one in England" I said. Sofie looked at the both of us and you could see that she liked the idea but then she looked down again.
" I don't want to feel like a dog that follows you two everywhere you go" she said
" then apply to a school in London didn't you want to study design?" I asked
"Yes" she answered
" then apply to a university where you study design, I know that there must be at least one university where you can do that" I said. I could see that she liked the idea. I walked to the side of my bed and pulled out the suitcase under the bed. I put it in front of Sofie.
" if you want to go home we can't stop you but I'll give you two choices. You can go and get into the car and we can drive you to the airport or we can go to the house and look on the Internet after an university's in London that has a design program" I said. Sofie looked at the suitcase and then at us. She stood up and grabbed the suitcase she was going home. Or that's what I thought but then she laid the suitcase on her bed and opened it.
" are you two going to help me get my clothes back into the wardrobe or what?" She asked. I looked at her and smiled then Sarah and I walked up to her and gave her a big hug.
When we had got all of Sofie's clothes back in the wardrobe we walked into the house and sat down at the computer and started searching for university's in London. We found two university's that seemed to be like a really good school.
"I liked that on the most" Sofie said. I clicked on the information icon. We looked for information about how you apply.
"Last day to apply 27 Th. july" I read out loud.
" we're to late" Sofie said and she was right the 27 th July was three days ago. She got up from the chair and said that she wanted to be alone for a while before she left the room. I turned off the computer and walked out of the room with Sarah. We saw Sofie out in the backyard were she was sitting under the big tree.
"What are we going to do?" Sarah asked.
"I don't know, I guess we have to do our best to keep in touch with her when school start" I said
" yeah I guess you're right" Sarah said. We stood there quiet for a while looking at Sofie. I heard Nick and Joe coming into the room talking about a fan they had seen on the concert yesterday. They stopped talking when they saw Sarah and me standing there.
"What are you two looking at?" Joe asked, we turned around.
"Sofie she's sad because she's afraid that our friendship will not be the same when we go to London and she will be back home in Sweden" I said
" We told her that she could apply to a design school in London but the last day to apply was three days ago"
" oh that's to bad" Nick said.
" yeah and we don't know what to do" I said. Nick gave me a hug and said " you will figure it out" but I wasn't so sure about that.
" I think I should go talk to her" Joe said and we nodded.
Sofie's POV
What am I going to do, my two best friends will have a blast in London and forget me, and I will have to figure out how to keep my relationship with Joe as good as it is right now. Speaking of the devil. I looked up to see Joe walking in the direction towards me. He gave me a smile and I smiled back, or I tried to smile as good as I could.
"Hey" he said and sat down next to me in the grass. He grabbed my hand and laid it in his lap, I lean my head against his shoulder.
" so Sarah and Sofie told me what happened and what's going on with you" he started " you know that they will never forget you because then they wouldn't be that worried. He said.
"I know, but just thinking that they will not be a few blocks away scares me" I said.
" but it's not just that that scares you" he said and he was right. I have hear many people say that long distance relationships never works even if you really love each other.
"No" I said
" we'll make it work" he said
" but almost every long distance relationships ends with someone getting really hurt and I don't want that" I said
" then we will be the first ones who makes it work! He said " I love you and I have never felt this way that I do right now and I'm not letting it go away without a fight" he continued. I was chocked did he just say that he loved me?
I looked up at him " you love me? I asked.
"Yes I do" he answered
" I love you too " I said and gave him a big long hug when we let go he kissed me and it was magical. I guess it gets that when you have just said the L word for the first time.
" I think it will work" I said and leaned my head on his shoulder again.
" me too" he said " now lets go back inside and spend every minute we can with the other before the summer is over. He continued. We stood up and walk towards the house hand in hand.
When we came inside I grabbed Elena's and Sarah's hand and walked to the living room where we could talk alone.
" I just want to tell you guys that I will be fine home in Sweden when you two are in England. I guess that I always picture that we would do everything together but I know that's not possible. BUT we have to Skype everyday and I will visit you every weekend" I said and it felt good saying it because it made me realize that the situation wasn't so bad that I thought.
" I like those rules. And we are still going to do everything together it only for a year and we will have holidays break where we can come home" Sarah said.
" And I want you to know that if anything happens we will come home and be by your side, it only takes 4 hours to get there" Elena said. "Besides Sarah is going to diss me some nights when she have planes with Niall, and you know how much I hate being alone"
" That sounded like I will be going on a date every night" Sarah said and I started laughing but then I realized that Elena will have the same dilemma as me, cause we both will have our boyfriends on the other side of the Ocean.
" so Elena have you and nick talked about this situation? " I asked
" Yeah, but he is taking this so cool. He said that we will make it work we have the social medias and that he will come visit me when he can" she said.
They had the same plane as Joe and me but she didn't seem so happy about the plan and I know that the only way to do it.
" but you don't know if it's going to work? I asked
" I don't know, all I know is that I don't want to be that girl that tries the long distance relationship thing and the gets her heart broken because it didn't work." She said
" but there is no other way" I said
" well there is one" she said
" wait are you thinking about breaking up with Nick?" Sarah asked.
" maybe" Elena said and looked out of the window where she saw Nick and Joe playing football.
I was in chock. I hadn't even thought about that option because I know how much Elena loves Nick and how heart broken she would be if they broke up. But then I understood, she have experience a bad break up where she hadn't seen her boyfriend over 2 weeks and when they where going to meet he broke up with her. She was laying in her bed for days crying and thinking of what she had done wrong.
" I understand why you're thinking about it and I would do that to if the same thing had happened to me as for you with Daniel" I said and Elena looked up surprised that I had figure out the reason. " but I think you should explain how you feel to Nick and she if you two can come up with a plan so he doesn't think that you're breaking up with him because this was just a summer romance"
" yeah I know but I'll think I will do it tomorrow when we're alone" Elena said
" you know that whatever you two decides we will be there for you now and forever" Sarah said and I started to cry I couldn't help it.
" Sofie don't cry" Sarah said
" I'm sorry but what you just said made me so happy" I said
" oh Sofie" Sarah and Elena said and gave me a big hug.
How could I have such luck to find the two best friends you could ask for?

I'm sorry for not updating in a while but I have been on vacation with my family but now I'm home and I will try to update one chapter a week :) but there is only 2-3 chapters left....
So do you think that Elena will break up with Nick? :)
