Harry sat on the couch at the studio rubbing circles on his very upset stomach. He didn't want to come in today but he knew they were recording. He sat and listened as a women from management went over all the songs that they wanted to have done by the end of the day. Louis looked over at his boyfriend knowing how ill he was. He gently put his hand on Harry's knee and smiled at him.
"Everyone understand what needs done today?" the women asked. Everyone nodded. "Alright. Liam we want you first." Liam stood up and followed the women out of the room. Harry groaned and put his head on Louis's shoulder. Louis combed through his curly hair was his fingers and whispered softly to him.
"You alright Harry?" Niall asked looking over at him.
"He doesn't feel well," Louis explained still playing with Harry's hair.
"Why'd you come in if you're ill Harry?" Niall asked sounding concerned.
"Management was is on our asses to get this done. They wouldn't have let me miss this session," Harry explained sadly.
"That's shit. If you're sick you need to be home," Niall huffed angrily.
"Couldn't agree more, Nialler," Louis agreed. Harry sighed placing his hand on his bloated stomach. "Does it hurt more now Hazza?" Harry nodded. Louis put his hand on top of Harry's that was already rested on his stomach and gently added pressure hoping to ease his pain. "Does that help?" Louis asked.
"Yes, thank you Lou," Harry sighed with relief. Niall looked over at them sadly.
"I'm sorry you're ill Harry." Niall smiled slightly at him.
"Don't worry Nialler, I'll be fine," Harry reassured him. Niall sighed and sat back on the couch pulling out his phone. Harry shut his eyes and let Louis comfort him as best he could. Harry was almost asleep when Liam and the women from management came back in.
"Louis. You're next," she ordered. Louis gently sat Harry up and stood up. He pulled Liam in like he was hugging him and whispered in his ear to look after Harry. Liam nodded and Louis left the room. Harry could already feel his stomach tossing around without Louis there to comfort him. He whimpered a little and Liam sat down next to him putting his arm around Harry and pulling him into his chest.
"Com'ere Haz," he whispered. Harry rested his head on Liam's chest letting Liam's strong arms wrap around him. "Where does it hurt?" Liam asked softly. Harry took Liam's hand and placed it on the spot Louis's hand had been. Liam gently added pressure just like Louis and Harry immediately felt relief.
"Thank you," Harry muttered letting his eyes shut again.
"Are you done Liam?" Niall asked looking up from his phone.
"Just with the first song. I guess they want to get all of our parts on each song before moving on." Harry groaned realizing it was going to be a long day. Liam rubbed down Harry's side. "I'm sorry Haz," Liam sighed. They sat there like that until Louis was done.
"Harry, let's go," the women called impatiently. Harry stood up slowly and made his way out the door and into the recording room. He put his headphones on and waited for the music to start. When he started singing he knew he didn't sound very good and he could tell management wasn't happy.
"I'm sorry. I'm really not well. Could I come back in later in the week and finish?" Harry pleaded.
"We need to have this done Harry. Just try it again." Harry sighed and sang it again. They let him out and he walked back in plopping down on Louis's lap resting his head in the crook of his neck. Niall left to record and Louis rubbed Harry's back trying to comfort him.
"They won't let me leave. I told them I wasn't feeling well," Harry whimpered. Louis's heart broke. Harry would never ask to leave unless he was really unwell. He held him closer and Liam ran his fingers through Harry's hair.
"I'll take care of you love. It's alright," Louis whispered. Harry curled in tighter to Louis wishing his pain would go away. When Niall came back the women took Liam again to start on the next song.
"How we doing Haz?" Niall asked putting his hand on Harry's back. Harry just shook his head. Niall looked over at Louis sadly.
"Hazza I think you've got a temperature," Louis told him. "Sit up for me love." Harry sat up and Louis put his hand on Harry's head. "Yeah you're a bit warm love." Harry groaned and curled back into Louis. He felt his stomach slosh around and nothing was helping anymore. He hiccupped a little and groaned.
"Louis," he whispered.
"What is it love?"
"I think I'm gonna be sick," Harry groaned.
"Niall give me that trash can," Louis instructed. Niall jumped up and grabbed the trash can for Louis. Louis moved Harry so he was sitting on the couch next to him when Niall came back. Niall handed the trash to Harry and sat back down next to him resting his hand on Harry's back. Harry coughed and gagged bringing nothing up.
"Poor guy," Niall whispered to himself. Harry groaned and gagged again as his stomach sent up what was inside.
"That's it Hazza," Louis encouraged him. He retched hard over the bin and Louis became angry Harry wasn't at home. "Stay with him Niall," he hissed through his teeth as he stood up.
"Lou," Harry started before being cut off by more retching.
"It's alright Harry. I've got you," Niall reassured him rubbing his back. Louis stomped out the door and Harry could hear him arguing with management outside the door.
"I don't care if it needs done. Push it back. Harry's in the puking his guts out. You really think he's fit to record?" Louis yelled.
"We have a deadline Mr. Tomlinson," the women replied angrily.
"Then push it back. He shouldn't be here I need to take him home!" Louis shouted.
"Have him finish this song then you two can leave."
"Finish the song? He can't even finish a sentence without puking. Push it back. I'm taking him home!" Louis was fuming. "I'll come in tomorrow and finish my parts. But Harry needs to rest. We're all going to get sick then you'll really have a problem." That seemed to do the trick.
"Fine. Take him home. I expect you in here in the morning," she told him sternly.
"Deal." Louis stormed away and walked back in the room. His eyes softened when he looked at Harry. "Come on Haz. I'm taking you home." Harry nodded and stood up. "Thank you Nialler."
"Feel better Harry!" Niall called after them. Harry gave him a weak thumbs up before Louis guided him out the door and to the car.
"I should've never brought you in," Louis huffed angrily.
"Lou," Harry started.
"No I mean it. I should've never let them talk me in to bringing you in. You're sick." Louis started the car and drove off. Harry groaned as the car moved down the street. He prayed he could make it home. No sooner did Louis pull in the driveway Harry jumped out of the car and began heaving onto the pavement.
"Louis," Harry called weakly. Louis rushed to Harry's side keeping his steady as heaves racked his body. When he was done Louis put his arm around him and led him inside the house and into their bedroom. He gently laid Harry down covering him up with the blankets.
"I'll be right back," Louis whispered. He left the room and grabbed a bottle of water and the heating pad for Harry's stomach as well as the bucket from under the sink. "Here Hazza," Louis said softly as he reentered the room. He handed Harry the water and set the bucket down beside the bed. Then he plugged in the heating pad and placed it on Harry's sore belly. He then slowly got into bed with Harry and wrapped his arms around him. "It's alright now Haz. Rest." Harry let his eyes shut and his exhausted body found sleep quickly. Louis nursed him all night making sure he was comfortable. Harry was feeling a little better by morning when Louis left to go record. He made it back into the studio later that week and finished his recordings.
