After the whole ex scene, I started explaining to him why we broke up.
"It was three to four summers ago, I can't remember, but before I transferred to Lakeview, I went to an all private school called Jefferson Winter High. I met him when we were just freshmen, and then we became friends until he told me he wanted to go to a movie premiere with me. I gladly accepted, and after the movies— who cares about first dates? I'll skip. Then later on at JWH, he told everyone that he loves me, and then courted me in front of everyone but I said yes. Then later on, at summer, we were almost two years together when he broke up with me for my ex best friend." I explained.
"Arrogant asshole.." Blake muttered. "I know right..."
"He does have the courage to come back to you again, huh." He said, suddenly propping his head on my lap. I gently stroked his hair as we continued to watch 50 First Dates.
"I still don't get it, why'd he come back to you, after wasting 2 years of your life, for absolutely nothing!" He said, turning to face me. "Hmmm, I don't know. But I have a plan."
He and I smirked and nodded.
