Okay now that your back....
This chapter won't have Harry in it. Sorry harry fans!! Although I don't think any harry fans ARE reading this. I mean if they love harry and all why would they be reading a book called a DRACO MALFOY love story?? Makes ya wonder. oh by the way last chapter was suppose to take place in year six. this chapter takes place in year six aswell. sorry for the confusion! okay anyway hope u like this chapter.....and jeremy ;)
Chapter Ten:
Draco had to protect me? What kind of crap was this?? I sighed. Only a week Sam. Just a week. I entered the dining area. Snape was already at the head table. He nodded my way. How did he get there so fast? Well a turtle could have past me I was moving so slow. Draco was staring at me. Snape must have talked to him.
"Well aren't you a naughty girl?" Draco teased.
"Shut it" I said.
"Oh come on Sam. It's just a week" Draco said.
"Unless you beg for more" Draco said wiggling his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes and sat down.
"Come on Sam. If we're going to make this work you have to at least try and be happy" Draco said.
"Maybe I should jump again" I thought out loud.
"Sam. Please. Just give me a chance. And I'll prove to you that I'm a good guy" Draco said.
"Fine" I sighed. I looked around the room. Anything to distract me from Draco. Someone was staring at me. He had blonde hair and blue eyes. He looked super cute. He caught me catching him and smiled. I smiled back. He seemed nice enough. He was in Ravenclaw.
"Who are you staring at?" Draco said looking towards where I was. Draco saw the mysterious boy and narrowed his eyes. Draco put his arm around me and made a face that looked like a sneer.
The boy looked from Draco to me to back at Draco and then looked away. He looked sad.
"Hey why did you do that?" I asked upset.
"You're dating me Sam" Draco said.
"Yes but only for a week" I said looking back at the boy. He was staring at me again. I smiled and he smiled back.
"Stop it!!" Draco exclaimed.
"Then you stop ruining my life!!"
"Look. Your Dad said to protect you. That's just what I'm going to do" Draco said. I sighed. He put his arm around me again.
"At least act like your happy" He muttered.
I sighed again and leaned my head onto his shoulder. This wasn't so bad. It could have been worse. We could have been snogging.
Draco rubbed my shoulder.
"Why did you jump?" He asked.
"Because of you" I said blankly. Nothing in my tone said that I was joking. Draco nodded.
"Want me to walk you down to Potions?" He asked.
"Sure" I shrugged.
Didn't we have Potions with the Ravenclaws? I looked back over at the strange boy. Again he was staring at me. Did I have something on my face? Did he think I was weird? The only thing I knew was I was totally over with Harry. He was out of my life. Out goes one boy in comes another.
Or maybe two....(re-fering to the mysterious guy)

Draco walked me down to Potions. It was....suprisingly nice. Weird I know. We held hands the entire way. It wasn't so bad. My biggest fear was that my hands would start to get all sweaty. Draco and I talked. It was shocking how we had so much in common.
We finally arrived at the class. We were the first one's. We walked in. Snape was there.
"Good morning" He said. He still had a slight hint of his coldness in him but I could live with it.
"I see you have lasted 20 minutes dry?" Snape said.
We took our seats next to each other. More and more people started to fill in. I finally noticed the boy. He smiled at me. It was like a half smile. I smiled back at him.
Draco cleared his throat.
I whipped my head back to him.
"So...Sam. Let's study later on" Draco said.
"Alright" I said. I glanced back at the boy. He looked super cute.
Class begun and I immediately started to take notes. Draco stared at me. More like gazed. You have to admit he isn't such a bad guy. I mean, sure he can be mean but when he's not...
Sam what the heck are you saying??
I mentally sighed. Well all I really knew is that I had to spend one full week without killing myself, which is going to be hard!!! And one week of being Draco Malfoy's girlfriend.
Oh just kill me now. Oh wait that's how I got into this mess.
**Mysterious Boy's POV**
I was staring at this girl. She had beautiful black straight hair and smoky blue eyes. She looked amazing. Only problem was was that she was always with that boy who looked like he was constepated. He was always glaring at someone. Most of the time me. He might have been her boyfriend. What a shame. I really like her too. And it looked like she kinda liked me aswell.
"Jeremy" Someone whispered.
"What?" I whispered back.
"Why are you staring at that girl? She's obviously with Draco"
Oh so that was his name. Draco. Unusual name.
"She's beautiful" I whispered to Seth.
"Yeah but she's taken. Dude have you ever crossed paths with Draco Malfoy?" Seth asked.
"No"
"You don't want to. His dad could kill you faster than-"
"Is there something you two would like to share to the class?" Snape asked us.
"Just enjoying the lesson sir" I said. I glimpsed at the girl. She was smiling at me.
"Then tell me. What was the last thing I said?" Snape asked with his arms crossed. I looked at the board. Maybe he wrote something on it.
"Uhh....Dragons tooth?" I asked.
Snape exhaled.
"Detention. After school. And as for you Mr. Styles"
He turned to Seth.
"Pay attention in class or it will be a week for you" Snape warned.
"Jeremy Rivers. You will also be here at lunch to help me clean out the cauldrons" Snape said coldly.
"Yes Professor" I said smiling.
"Something funny?" He snapped.
"No Professor" I said still smiling.
"Wipe that look off of your face Rivers" Snape sneered.
"Professor it's not a look. It's just my face" I said. I heared muffled laughter. I glimpsed at Sam again. She was trying not to laugh but you could so tell she thought I was funny.
"One weeks worth of detention" Snape said.
"Yes Professor" I said still smiling. Why am I doing this you ask? Well to make that girl smile of course.
"Wipe that grin off your face before I wipe it off for you" Snape warned. I stopped smiling but then as soon as Snape turned his back I began smiling again. I began making funny faces behind Snapes back. Everyone had to try not to laugh. You could say I was a class clown. But the only real reason I was doing this was to get that girls attention. It wouldn't have mattered if I was quiet anyway. Our eyes seemed glued to each other. Too bad she's with that Draco guy. Unless.....
**Sam's POV**
Jeremy Rivers. Interesting name. Interseting guy. Every time he would make a joke he would glance at me to make sure I was watching.
"You don't seriously think he's funny do you?" Draco asked.
"Draco your jelousy is showing" I said laughing.
"I'm not jelous!" Draco exclaimed.
"I just don't think he's funny" he mumbled.
"You don't think anyone is funny" I said.
"I think you're funny" Draco said.
I didn't know what to say to that. I mean, when your worst enemy is now you boyfriend for a week you really don't know what to say. I mean Draco's good looking and all. But it's not like I have feelings for him.....
By the time class ended Jeremy had earned one month's worth of detention. He didn't seem upset at all. He kept glancing at me to make sure I was watching. It was kind of hard not to. Draco walked me down to Charms. I saw Hermione in the halls. Hermione, Ron, and I haven't really spoken in a long time. Could it be because of the break-up?
"Hi Hermione" I smiled and waved. Hermione took one glance at me and then hurried down the hallway. I got a sad look on my face.
"Hey don't mind her. She's just a filthy mudblood" Draco sneered at her.
"Don't talk that way about my friends" I said.
"Friends? She ignored you Sam" Draco said.
I sighed.
"Maybe she just didn't hear me?" I asked. I knew it was a long shot considering she looked at me but I would believe anything as long as it wasn't they didn't like me anymore.
"Let's just go" I said to Draco. We finally reached Charms class and took our seats. We had this class with the Gryffandors. Good-bye comfort, hello awkwardness.
Harry enterd the class. I didn't even bother to look at him. For some reason I felt the urge to stare at Draco. He was searching through the textbook. I just stared at him. He looked so cute. The way his eyes would soften around me. The way he seemed more relaxed. He had his right hand on his cheek so his body weight was on his arm. Draco glanced at me.
"What?" He asked.
"Nothing" I smiled looking away. You know...it pains me to say this but...maybe this could work out. I mean....maybe.
I thought back to the very first train ride. Or maybe it couldn't.
But Draco seems to have forgotten that day. Maybe I should too. Here we go with the maybe's again. I looked back over at Draco. He was staring at the board. He looked boreder than ever. I smiled to myself. This was so strange. I mean we were suppose to be enemies right?
Draco looked at me again.
"What?" He smiled. I shook my head. Draco and I both stared at each other all class. His grey eyes were soft. That's when I liked them most. Not when they were all cold like when we first met. We would occasonally smile at one another. You know maybe this could work....

"I didn't kiss him he kissed me!!" I shouted.
"Well you looked pretty into it when I got there!" Harry shouted. We were arguing about the kiss Draco and I shared. Harry had pulled me over into an empty classroom before lunch.
"'Sides what are you doing with him now??" Harry asked.
I didn't answer him. How in the world was I suppose to explain his? My father Snape wants me to be safe because I almost killed myself so Draco is my boyfriend body guard? Yeah that's gunna make him think I don't need to go in the wacky shack.
Sarcasm.
I sighed. Should I tell him the truth?
"Why does it matter to you? I'm not your girlfriend anymore. I can do what I want" I said.
"Well I never expected you do be with Malfoy!" Harry exclaimed.
"Sam? You in here?" Draco asked.
"Yeah! In here" I said.
"Well come on! We are going to be late for-" Draco noticed Harry in the room. He stared at him.
"Lunch" Draco said.
"What's Potter doing in here with you?" Draco sneered at Harry.
"It's fine. I was just leaving" I said grabbing on to Draco's arm. Draco put his arm around me and glared at Harry.
"Come on" I said tugging him away. Harry glared at Draco while I tried to get him away.
"What was Potter doing in there with you?" Draco sneered.
"It's nothing okay. He's not in my life anymore" I said. Draco's face softened a bit. I sat at the lunch table with Draco right next to me. I looked at my father at the head table. He wasn't looking at me though he was looking at Draco. Draco was looking at him too. I got a confused look on my face but then decided to drop it. Maybe things were better left unsaid.
"Sam there's something I have to tell you" Draco said.
"What?"I asked. He looked worried.
"I....I'm really happy that you've given me a chance." I had a feeling that wasn't it.
"That's it?" I said raising an eyebrow. Draco glanced at Snape.
"Yeah. That's it" Draco said.
He wasn't telling me everything. And I was going to get to the bottom of it

okay i lied. Harry did make a small appearence. yay harry fans!! (if there are stil even any out there reading this) okay what are your thoughts of jeremy? cute right? Thanks to chupacabra for the amazing idea of adding another guy! Even if Harry is long gone you know what they say. When one door closes another door opens. And this door's name is jeremy!! well they don't say that last part that was just a little added bonus I decided to throw in. anyway........ hope u liked it!
