Jessie's POV.
Ouch, my head is killing.
I'm never going to drink again, I feel awful.
I moan as I roll out of bed seeing the full bottle of whiskey that I didn't drink.
Crap. Last night, I kissed Danny.
What am I going to say if he asks me about it? I'm not going to get out of this. Alcohol is never a good solution, why did I think it was? I smell breakfast cooking downstairs, I go downstairs practically drifting to the food.
I sat at the table just as Danny walked into the room and sits on the seat opposite me. I take a deep breath trying to think of how to approach last night.
"Morning," he says casually, "how did you sleep?"
"Okay thanks," I mumble, "can I ask you something?"
I avoid eye contact with him, my palms start getting sweaty. Here goes nothing.
"Do you know what happened last night?" I ask nervously, what if he laughs at me? Or if he does remember?
"No sorry" He shakes his head, he avoids my gaze as he excuses himself and runs upstairs. He must have remembered and blocked it out. Now he hates me.
No, he can't hate me!
My mum follows him upstairs and I look down at my plate. What if he thought I forgot it and now he doesn't want to be near me because of...because of what? No he said he'd be right back.

It's now 3pm and Danny is still up in his room. Mark and Glen came round to try and cheer him up but nothing is working. I knew I shouldn't have talked about last night.
"What's up with him?" Mark asks
"I don't know, I've never seem him like this before" Glen replies, is it really that bad? Have I really hurt him that much? No I couldn't have...
"Do you know anything Jess?" Mark asks me, I don't like it when people call me 'Jess'. Danny was the only person I wanted to call me it.
"No, why should I?" I pause for a second then realise, "Oh yeah, i'm meant to be his bestfriend" Nice one Jessie, I mentally kick myself.
"I'm going to lay down" I walk upstairs and turn down the hall when I bump into someone.
"Sorry" I say as I stumble back.
"It's fine" Danny mumbles as he keeps his head down.
"Dan," I say as I see his eyes slightly, "have you been crying?" I ask looking at his red eyes.
"No, I got something in my eye and it's stinging like sh*t. I was going to ask Rose to get it out" he answers rubbing his left eye.
I let him walk past me. It's bad enough that I'm hurt that he wasn't crying over me but i'm also glad he isn't hurting as bad as I am.
