"My taxi's here, Amy" Rory looked at her as she was sitting on the sofa, wiping tears away from her eyes. He sighed and went over to her, kneeling down next to her, "it's only for a couple of months Amy, it'll fly by". It had been a year and a half since Amy promised Rory she would one day propose and he was going overseas to help with an earthquake that had happened.
"I don't want you to go, why couldn't the hospital send someone else?"
"Because I'm the best" he smiled, "and because my name was drawn out of the hat".
"You'll be on the other side of the world, Rory".
"I know" he looked towards the door as the taxi driver knocked again, "listen to me, I'm only a phone call away, whenever you need me, I promise". He kissed her a couple of times, "I love you".
"I love you too" she handed him an envelope, "don't open this until you're on the plane".
"Okay..." He stood up and headed to the door, "I'll see you soon, I love you so much".
"I love you so much too" she stood up and went to the window, picking Elsa up on the way and watching Rory leave.
"Elsa" she smiled at the toddler as she looked back at her, "you're going to be a big sister".
