30 minutes later
“thank fuck for that” I said as we pulled into the station I grabbed peanut and my trunk and rushed off the train Fred and George struggled to keep up with me, my hair turned electric blue I was so excited !!!
As I walked off the train all the boys were staring at me and all the girls glared at me, I mean im not pretty im not popular so why were they staring
“Ahh Miss Black there you are” I turned to see who was speaking it was a large man I think he was half giant, “Miss Black im Hagrid”
“Um hi Hagrid”
“Miss Black please could you follow me to the boats, you need to come this way so you can be sorted with the first years”
“Oh okay, I will see you too later” I said looking at Fred and George
“Kay jess, see ya”
“Yh bye jess we know you will be in Gryffindor” George said sweetly. I followed hagrid down into the boats
“4 in each boat please” he shouted I climbed into a boat with a load of first years they were staring at my hair, I concentrated and it flashed from blue to pink to yellow and back to blue, they looked at me in shock it looked like they had seen a ghost.
“Jessica black metamorphas” I said as a matter of faculty. They all laughed
“Wow that’s cool” one of the kids said, the rest of the boat trip was in awkward silence.
The boats finally pulled to shore, I practically jumped out of the boat, and walked with the rest of the first years,
“Ahh first years and miss black, im professor McGonagall now could Jessica black come to the front please” I walked towards the rather old women “ah jess because you will be in 5th year so you will be sorted first follow me please” she started to walk and I followed my hair was still electric blue I was pumped and ready for hogwarts. We got to two massive wooden doors that opened with a massive creak everyone stared at me and my hair, I didn't care much I was too excited to care, as we walked up the middle isle I saw four massive tables, I saw cedric, he smiled and waved at me I gave him a flirty smile back, I also saw Fred and George they waved and winked so I smiled and waved back, I couldn’t believe I was here at last. McGonagall stopped at the front of the hall there was a stool with an old tatty hat on top of it. Wtf why was there a hat there, McGonagall picked up the hat and gestured for me to sit on the stool, so I did, she placed the hat down on my electric blue hair and it began to move and speak, I gasped. “Ahh Jessica black”
“Um jess not Jessica” everyone chuckled I think I said that a bit too loud, ohh well.
“oh well then jess black, hmmmm brave very brave, determined, ohh a controller of the elements very rare power, hmm oh no another prankster just like the Weasley twins” when it said this I saw the twins looking smug and high 5ing each other, I just giggled. “Hmm strong cunning, ahh there’s only one house for you! GRYFINDOR!!!” everyone on the Gryffindor cheered I swear I heard a couple of wolf whistles as I walked over to the table, but Fred and George where cheering the loudest they were also stood up! I was slightly embarrassed to know them. I walked over to them and sat in between the twins. George put his arm round my waist and Fred put his arm over my shoulders.
“Well done jess” Fred congratulated me
“I told you, you would be in Gryffindor didn't I” I started to laugh. Then McGonagall bought the first years through. They were sorted into their houses one kid got scared stiff, he almost jumped 3 feet high
“Pist jess that kid did the same thing you did” George winked
“Ohh shut up that hat thing is creepy!” I whispered
The first years were finished being sorted than an old man started talking “pist George who’s that”
“That is Dumbledore the head master”
“Ohh he looks at least 150” George started to laugh!
“This year is going to be different, this year we will be hosting the triwizard tournament later this year! This tournament is an honour and a privilege to hold, but enough of that, Enjoy!” food of all kinds appeared on the table I grabbed chips and some battered fish. We all tucked in I looked over at George's plate
“Woah George you say I eat a lot!”
“Shh you, have you seen Ron’s plate” I looked over to Ron
“Wow Ron you on a diet or something” I said sarcastically
“Oh shut up jess” Ron shouted everyone started to laugh. After everyone was finished, pudding appeared. I grabbed a massive bowl of strawberry ice cream, soon enough I was finished
“Uhh I think I ate too much”
“Im not surprised Ron you had a plate full of everything and anything and then you at 4 bowls of ice cream!!” Fred and George stood up
“Wanna go to the common room jess?”
“Yeah sure” I stood up and linked arms with Fred and George. We walked out of the great hall and towards the stair cases,
“Jesus Christ im gonna get lost!” I laughed looking up at all of the staircases
“Naaa you won’t you got us” George said
“Indeed I do… holy shit did the stairs just move!” I yelled still looking up
“Hahaha yeah they do that” Fred laughed my arms were still linked with the twins.
“Fuck well don't let go of my arms you two!” they did as they were told and we stared to walk up the staircases they were scary as fuck I mean they move! The stairs MOVE!!! That’s not freaking normal, I soon got used to the stairs and soon enough we were stood in front of a painting of a fait lady in a pink dress.
“Flibbertigibbet” Fred said
“Excuse me?”
“It’s the password jess” George chuckled
“ohh shut up I knew that” that picture flung open to reveal a room with a fire place, lots of sofas and a huge rug, “Woah this is cool”
“Now jess” Fred and George said leading me over to the sofa in front of the fire place
“We don't normally do this so you should feel privileged”
“This is our couch and no one else is normally allowed on it but since we like you, you may sit with us” I sat in-between them both.
“Oh why thank you very much I feel honored”
“And so you should” George said putting his arm around my shoulder. The golden trio soon walked into the common room
“Oi you two, how come jess can sit on there and yet I can’t” Ron said angrily
“Because she beautiful unlike you” George said I blushed like crazy
“And we like her so much more than you!” Fred exclaimed.
“Screw you two” Ron said as he sat on the rug in front of the fire. Hermione and Ron sat either side of him.
“Jess since you don't really know anyone here, me and Ginny had a word with Dumbledore and he said that this year we could share a dorm” Hermione added rather happily
“Wicked! Should be fun” I grinned “well I think I should be going to bed” I added
“Okay jess night then” Fred said pulling me into a hug
“Are you sure you don't want me to join you” George winked as he pulled me into a hug
“Naaa I think I will be okay tonight” I winked back. Ginny and Hermione headed up the stairs and I followed closely behind them. We walked into a dorm it had three beds. Hermione and Ginny both jumped on the same bed I on the other hand ran straight towards the one next to the bathroom so I could get there first in the mornings.
“We haven’t got any lessons tomorrow have we?” I asked as we were all getting changed into our pjs
“Nope the first day we never have lessons so we can get used to everything here” Hermione added
“So jess how’s your love life?”
“Well Ginny at the moment its nonexistence” I chuckled
“You sure about that I mean you and George have got even closer since the world cup, I overheard George telling Fred about how you kissed him!”
“Wtf, you over heard that! God that’s embarrassing, I only kissed him because I owed him for saving my ass twice in one day”
“Uhmm sure it was just because you owed him, it’s not like you wanted to or anything is it jess” she winked
“Shut up Ginny” I blushed and threw a pillow at her
“Ouch jess that hurt”
“Man up Ginny, anyways you too im going to bed night hermy night gin”
“Night jess”
“Yeah night black!” as soon as our heads hit the pillow we nodded off.
