Two days later
So today I decided to visit the Weasley’s I walked over the hill, over the small stream and across the field until I got to the burrow. I knocked 3 times I heard someone walk towards the door. It was a small girl with ginger hair like Fred and George’s I guess she must have been their sister. “Hi there is Fred and George in?” I asked politely
“Umm yeah they are who shall I tell them it is?” she asked shyly
“Jess black”
“Okay hang on a sec” I peeped through the door and saw the girl scream up the stairs “GEORGE FRED JESS BLACKS HERE! YOU KNOW THE GIRL YOU TWO HAVENT STOPPED TALKING ABOUT FOR THE LAST 2 DAYS!” she chuckled and I blushed
“WELL INVITE HER IN THEN” I think it was George who shouted that.
“Um come in” she said
“Thank you so you must be Fred and George’s little sister?”
“Im Ginny Weasley and yes unforchantly I am” I chuckled we heard a THUD THUD THUD as another ginger boy walked into the living room where me and Ginny where sat.
“Oh jess this is my older brother Ron”
” hey Ron” he looked slightly plumper than George and Fred
“ohhh so your jess black George and Fred haven’t stopped talking about you and they were right you are really pretty!” as soon as he said that he wished he had taken it back he went all hot and embarrassed and his checks where redder than his hair I chuckled to myself and Ginny just laughed her head off. “Shut up Ginny” he angrily said to Ginny.
“Ohh look who it is George”
”ohh it looks like little miss jess couldn’t stay away” we all laughed
“Nice to see you too” I chuckled
“So what bringing your hear jess” George with a flirty smile
“Well Georgie im hear to ask you if you want to play a mini game of quittage with me?”
“Ohh it would be an honor” Fred replied I giggled.
“Umm have you got a spare broom my uncle took mine away for using up all the hot water this morning” they both laughed at me
“Yeah sure follow me” George said grabbing my hand. His hands where really soft and gentle I started to blush slightly and my black hair started to turn light pink at the ends I think that meant I was crushing on someone im not entirely sure I mean it’s happened before but never this pink. We got to a little cupboard underneath the stairs. I grabbed a broom and we ran out the front of the house. Fred and Ron where already in the air waiting for us
“You’re on my team” I demanded
“I wouldn’t have it any other way” he said with his cheeky smile I blushed slightly “I will be beater but don’t worry I will keep the Bludger away from your head this time” I laughed
“Good cuz if you don’t I will beat you up” I winked “im a great chaser”
“Really? You don’t look much like one” I pulled my shocked face “*gasp* georgie im hurt that you question my incredible skill!”
“Hurry up you too!” Ron screamed he still looked slightly embarrassed when I looked at him.
We were half way through the game and me and George where already winning by 30 points and I was extremely proud of Fred and George they hadn’t hit me with a Bludger yet! All of a sudden music started playing it was a muggle song called Mirrors by Natalia kills. I started to sing along loudly, everyone stopped play quittage and just started at me the music was coming from down my top
“Ohh yeah” I shouted grabbed my phone which was shoved down my bra, uncle Remus was calling me “hello uncii how’s it going”
“Umm very good thanks” he chuckled “im sorry jess but I need to help your dad out and I won’t be back for a couple of days would it be possible for you to find somewhere to stay for a couple of nights?”
“Umm yeah sure I will find somewhere if not I don’t mind staying at home on my own for a couple of days” I said cheerfully
“Okay well get back to me later and tell me what’s going on okay darling speak later bye”
“Kaaaaay byee uncii” I hung up my phone. Everyone started at me like I was crazy I flew down to the ground and got off my broom everyone else soon followed
“What the hell is that” Ron screamed
“It’s a muggle invention it’s called a mobile phone you use it to talk to people “
“Ohh okay” said Fred still looking a bit confused
“Well who were you talking to?” George asked nosily
“My uncle Remus he said I need to find somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights while he helps my dad” I replied
“Well if you need somewhere to stay”
”you could always stay with us” Fred and George said
“Really?!” I screatched
“Yeah sure im certain we could squeeze you in somewhere since you’re so small” George said with a cheeky wink I blushed slightly
“Are you sure? I mean I don’t want to intrude”
“Yeah off course we wouldn’t have it any other way” Fred said
“Let’s go check with mum” run butted in.
The three of us walked into the burrow to find Mrs. Weasley in the kitchen preparing dinner “muuuuuum can jess please stay the night?” George asked sweetly
“Well of course” she replied “jess is it okay with Remus” she asked me
“Yeah it should be because he’s out of town for a few days and he said I need to find somewhere to stay” I said shyly
“Well you can stay for as long as you need, why don’t you walk back to yours grab your things and come round around dinner time?”
“Okay Mrs. Weasley and thank you”
“Call me molly dear and it’s my pleasure” she said with a sweet tone in her voice. Mrs. Weasley has to be one of the nicest people I’ve ever meet.
“Jess wait up” I turned around just as I was about to walk out of the door it was George or Fred wait no definitely George.
“Yes georgie-kins?” I said in a sweet tone. He chuckled and said
“Im coming with you, just in case you need help carrying your stuff” he said quickly walking well almost sprinting out of the door
“Let me guess you mum wants you to tidy your room or something?” I asked laughing a little
“Wow your good, you got it in one”
“Well that’s cuz im a freaking genus” I boasted.
“So jess, tell me about yourself?”
“Well Mr. Weasley im 14 but im 165 next week um I can control elements im a metamorphas and im an extremely brilliant prankster and over all just amazing” I said chuckling to myself
“Woah! You’re a metaphors but I haven’t really seen your eyes are hair change colour? And to top it all off you can control elements! That’s freaking amazing!” he said in slight shock
“Well you haven’t seen them change because I have very good control over it so only occasionally they change when I let my guard down” I explained
“Oh that makes sense, can you show me how you control elements please it sounds awesome” he pleaded
“fine” I huffed “im not very good thou so watch out” we had just got to the stream so I concentrated and made a small ball of water float around George’s head I also managed to make a rock, a mini ball of air and small ball of fire float around his head then I looked up and caught his gaze. All I could do is lose myself in his big beautiful brown eyes; he looked straight back into mine and changed slightly from pure blue to blue with specks of pink in them. I felt blood rush to my checks they were now as red in his hair. JESS SNAP OUT OF IT! I quickly looked away, lost my concentration and the small floating balls flew off in all direction. The rock ended up hitting George in the face
“Oww” he shouted
“Fuck omg im so sorry I must have lost my concentration omg im sooo so sor...” I was cut off by George laughing
“Don’t babes no damage, no need to get so worried about me. Im a big man” he winked rubbing his cheek
“Well im still sorry I told you im not very good” I looked slightly disappointed.
“What do you mean not very good? That was freaking amazing your INCREDIBLE!” he screatched. I walked over to him, went on the tips of my toes and kissed him gently on the cheek that I hit.
“Im still sorry”
“Well I think you just made up for it” he blushed like crazy I mean his cheeks were brighter than his gorgeous hair. I blushed slightly and more pink flicks were in my eyes.
“Shall we get going” I suggested trying to change the subject and changing my eyes and hair back to their original colours.
“Race ya?” he suggested
“Okay ready? 1...2...” I ran
“Hey wait unfair!” he screatched. I carried on running
“Well I never said to run on 3” I shouted back looking over my shoulder.
After running up the giant hill and then down it and across the street:
“HA! WAAAY! You just got beaten by a girl!” I shouted at him. He was 20 meters behind me. When he finally arrived at the front door he was looked shattered and puffing for breath.
“How do *gasp* you run so fast?*gasp* and why aren’t you out of breath I *gasp*mean that hill was massive!” he exclaimed
“Well im used to running I mean the amount of pranks I pulled at beauxbatons I had to be good at running” I laughed. “Come in I will get you a drink.”
Me and George both walked through my front door I turned and looked at George he look absolutely gob smacked “ikr its massive aint it?” I said
“Yeah it is seriously are you sure it’s only you and Remus who live here!”
“Yep im sure” I chuckled.
Remus had left a note for me and the kitchen side saying “don’t bother ringing me Mrs. Weasley has already owled me making sure you could stay there. Now behave. I don’t want you pulling any pranks there, I do not want to receive any owl’s saying that you’re a bad influence on everyone; me and your dad have had plenty of them already. Okay well have fun. Lots of love uncle Remus”
“Um help yourself to a drink and that. Im just going to go pack my things” I said to George
“Okay well be quick, mum will have tea ready soon” he shouted as I ran up the large staircase. 10 minutes past, and I was still trying to fit my stuff into my overnight bad. I was trying to pack 4 tops 2 pairs of jeans 2 pairs of shorts underwear of course, my pjs, and my makeup. I mean it’s not that much so why won’t it go in! I heard footsteps from own to corridor I poked my head out of the door and saw George trying to find my room.
“Im here George!” I shouted. He quickly ran the corridor
“Jesus Christ how many rooms does this place have!”
“Ummm 24 I think” I chuckled
“Anyways miss jess get a move on tea will be ready in a minute. George looked at me and sighed. “Come here he said” he pulled everything I had just shoved in my bag and folded it neatly and managed to pack it all neatly in my back.
“Wow how to fuck did you do that?” I said amazed and shocked.
“Ahh magic miss jess” he said as he put my bad over his shoulder and followed me down the many corridors and down the stairs and out of my front door.
“I can carry that” I said giving him a funny look. He looked at me and poked his tongue out at me
“Well I wouldn’t want a beautiful little girl like you hurting yourself would I” he gave me a cheeky wink. I blushed slightly and the tips of my hair turned pink, fuck not again… I thought to myself when I realized and quickly turned them back to black.
“Well thank you, but im NOT LITTLE”
“You sure about that? Because from up here it looks like you are” he gave me a cheeky smile again god why does he have such a cute smile I thought to myself
“Shut up” I said quietly and playfully punched his arm. “Race ya!” I said
“Okay but im counting this time kay?”
“Kay” I said slightly disappointed but chuckling
“3...2…1...GO!” we sprinted down the hill over the little stream and though the field. We finally got back to the house and yet again I beat him. I stood there laughing but slightly out of breath. When he finally got to the door he was extremely out of breath and redder than his hair. This made me chuckle even more.
“Shall we go in my lady” he said while bowing and opening the door. God he was one of the funniest people I’ve ever meet
“Why thank you” I said in my best posh British accent.
“Ohh there you two are. You’re just in time for tea” Mrs. Weasley said I her very sweet tone as she was setting the table.
Everyone gathered round the table and I was soo introduced to Mr. Weasley he worked at the ministry, Charlie who was staying for a couple of weeks, Percy who in my onion was a stuck up prick and bill who was quite handsome actually. Of course they had flame red hair. We all got on very well.
“Jess you will be sharing a room with Ginny I hope that’s okay deary”
“Of course” I replied I didn’t know Ginny very well but from what I knew she was really nice and I thought me and her would get on well. All through dinner every time I looked up someone would be staring at me. Most of the time it was Ron and sometimes his mouth was even open it was flattering and creepy at the same time. But Fred and George also stared at me which made me blush a lot. And occasionally Charlie would stare.
After dinner Ginny grabbed my hand and pulled me into her room. It was covered in posters of quittage. “Wow you must like quittage a lot” I said slightly sarcastically.
” hahaha yeah I do it’s a great sport.” She exclaimed
“Agreed” I said enthusiastically. After that me and Ginny got changed into our pjs and talked. Suddenly the door opened slightly and two water bombs were chucked in the one aimed at Ginny but missed her on the other hand the second one hit me square in the face.
“Ahh” I screeched the water was ice cold and I knew who had done this “FRED GEORGE IM GONNA GET YOU” I ran out of the room dripping wet and walked past Ron on the landing he simply said
“3rd door on the right” he knew that the twins had thrown a water bomb at me and he could tell from the look on my face I was going to kill them. I ran into Fred and George’s room they looked at me and burst into laughter. I concentrated as hard as I could and made two massive ice cold balls of water levitate above their heads. They looked up and in unison said
“You wouldn’t” they said looking worried
“Oh but I would” I winked and SPLASH the balls of water plummeted onto their heads first of all they screamed and looked angry but then started to laugh and so did i. I looked at them whipping a tear from my eye and saw an evil expression on their faces.
“Oh shit” I exclaimed. Before I knew it I had been tackled to the ground and held there by George while Fred tickled the living day lights out of me.
“Please*laugh* STOP”
“What was that jess I didn’t quite catch that” Fred said.
“STOP *laugh* NOW!” I screamed they did as they were told I jumped to my feet holding my sides and I went over and sat on George's bed.
“How about a truce? I won’t prank you if you don’t prank me?” I suggested
“Hmm agreed” George said stroking his chin pretending to think about it.
“But only if we put our pranking skills together and get the rest of family” Fred exclaimed
“Okay then” I said smiling. George came and sat on his bed next to me while Fred sat on his bed facing us. We talked about the most random things like how they were going to open a joke shop and things like that. It got late and I started getting tired. I rested my head of George's shoulder and he pulled me into a hug and soon enough I feel asleep.
Georges point of view:
Me Fred and jess were talking for most of the night and I couldn’t stop looking and thinking about her. She’s just so different to all the other girls and I couldn’t wait until she started hogwarts with me. As the night went on I noticed her eyes started getting heavy she lead her head on my shoulder, so I put my arms around her and pulled her into and hug. It felt so right having her in my arms. A few minutes later she was asleep.
“Oh George get in there”
“Shut up Fred don’t wake her up!” she looked so peaceful.
“Well im going to bed” Fred said as a matter of faculty.
“Okay night” I said as he turned off the light. I tried to get up to put jess in her bed but she wouldn’t let go of me so I decided to let her sleep with me tonight. I crawled back and put the covers over her. She put her head on my chest and I wrapped my arm over her. I couldn’t believe it I had the girl of my dreams sleeping on me; everything was going right … for once.
Fred’s point of view:
I couldn’t believe it, jess was falling asleep on George and he was hugging her. I mean I was happy for George he told me the first day we meet her that he really liked her, but I also like her. I’ll admit it I was jealous I wanted to be the one hugging her. Ah well you never know It could happen one day… I hope.
Jess’s point of view:
I woke up the next morning and tried to sit up but as I did I realized I had a pair of strong arms around me I turned to face the owner of the arms it was George. Omg I can’t believe it I feel asleep with him. I was so embarrassed I mean I have bed hair and no makeup. I looked at him, his eyes started fluttering
“Morning beautiful” George said sleepily
“1 im not beautiful, 2 good morning and 3 im so sorry about falling asleep on you!” I said slightly embarrassed. George looked straight into my eyes and said
“You are beautiful and don’t worry about it, im not complaining” he said and winked.
“Uhh time to get up” I said releasing myself from his strong arms.
“Urhh do I have to jess please can’t I just stay here with you” he pleaded
“No, im going to get dressed I think you should do the same” I giggled
“I guess your right”
“Im always right” I winked.
I walked out of Fred and George's room luckily Fred was still asleep when I left but to my dismay when I walked into Ginny’s room she wasn’t
“Where the hell did you sleep last night? You weren’t n your bed!” she said seriously
“Well umm… I accidently fell asleep while I was talking to Fred and George” I said staring at my feet in embarrassment
“Ohh okay, fair enough” not seeming to bothered that I slept in the same room as her brothers. I was relived I don’t think she’s caught on yet that I kinda like George.
“Can I have a shower please?”
“Yeah sure 4th door on the left”
“Kay taa babes” she laughed I grabbed my towel, my iPod and docking station and headed to the bathroom. When I got in there I turned my music on and started listening to check yes Juliet by we the kings, it’s one of my all-time favorite songs
“RUN BABY RUN DON’T EVER LOOK BACK” I started singing with all my heart. After about 30 minutes I stepped out of the shower turned off my music, picked up my clothes from the floor, unlocked the door and saw Fred George and Ron all stood at the door waiting, their mouths wide open
“Catching fly’s?” I laughed, but they just stared
“Wow” Ron said looking in shock but very impressed
“Huh?” I said puzzled
“You never told us you could sing!” Fred said looking in socked as well
“Omg you guys heard that” I went red in the face and barged past them
“Jess your amazing” Fred and George said in unison I couldn’t help but giggle it was so cute when they did that. I walked into Ginny’s room blushing like crazy and when I looked at my hair it had started to go bright yellow (because I was so embarrassed) fuck I concentrated as hard as I could and it went back to black. I dried myself and put on a pair of electric blue shorts and a white crop top, I love my crop top because you can see my belly button piercing when I wear it. I sat in front of the mirror and put on my foundation and mascara, brushed my hair but instead of drying it I simply brushed it all back and put it in a ponytail. KNOCK KNOCK
“Can I come in?” it was Ginny knocking on the door
“Yeah im decent” She opened the door
“Woah you have your belly pierced that I sooo cool” she said as she stared at it
“Haha thanks I love it” I giggled.
“Anyways breakfast is ready” I followed Ginny out of the room and down the crooked stairs.
I walked into the kitchen and was greeted by Mrs. Weasley sorry I mean molly.
“Ahh jess dearest I hope you slept well?”
“Oh yes I did thank you”
“Ohh good well grab a plate sit down and help yourself”
“Thank you molly”
“no problem dear” I went to the side grabbed my plate and sat down. BANG BANG BANG was all I heard as the twins ran down the stairs basically knocking me off my chair grabbing a plate and taking a seat either side if me
“Why hello there jess nice sleep” Fred winked at me
“Um yes It was actually I was rather comfy” as I said that George slightly blushed I started to laugh at him. I grabbed a piece of bacon before the twins finished it off and a piece of toast. While Fred and George pilled bacon, eggs, sausages, hash browns and toast onto their plates.
“How to hell can you two eat that much and still stay skinny?” I needed to know there secret!
“Well jess because we are so awesome we can!” Fred said as a matter of faculty. I laughed
“Umm sure you are”
“We are!” they said in unison
“Well you keep thinking that” they smirked at me so I just winked back. Ginny was sat opposite me but she still had a plate full of food left unlike me and the twins, and Ron still hadn’t come down for breakfast yet.
“So what’s the plan for today then?” I asked enthusiastically
“Umm not sure what do you want to do?” George asked
“Well I really think i should practice fire and air today.”
“Can we watch?” they said in unison.
“fine but don’t put me off” I excused myself from the table said thank you to molly, grabbed my phone from upstairs and headed out the front door followed by the twins. We sat under the tree that was placed by the small stream. I concentrated and made butterfly out of fire then transformed it into a dragon. The twins sat there in amazement. I also made a mini tornado which I thought was pretty cool.
Two hours later i decided that was enough practicing because it really takes it out of me.
“Jess have I ever told you that your amazing” George said
“Maybe once or twice” I winked. We all just sat under the tree for a while and taking in the view “it’s beautiful here” I exclaimed
“It’s not the only thing that’s beautiful” Fred whispered under his breath hoping no one heard him, I blushed slightly.
“Shut your mouth and close the door
I wanna, watch you while you take it off
I'm gonna, take a blindfold put it on
And then I drop the letter to the floor
I SAID SHUT UP!”
My phone was ringing, it was Remus again.
“Hellllloooooooooooooooo” I shouted down the phone
“haha hi to you too anyways im just ringing to say that im home sooner than I thought I would be so can you come back soon please”
“Okay” I said sounding slightly disappointed I would have been quite happy to sleep in George’s bed again.
“Is everything okay with dad now then?”
“Yeah everything’s good now, so make sure your home soon we need to get your school supplies”
“Kaay babes I'll be there in 10 minutes or so”
“Jess do not call me Babes its slightly creepy now byee” he hung up before I could say bye.
“Do you have to go” Fred looked slightly disappointed
“Yeah sorry Hun’s” we walked back to the house I ran up into Ginny’s rooms grabbed my bag and walked down the stairs molly was in the living room.
“Bye molly thank you so much for having me im very grateful”
“You’re always welcome here” she said with a sweet smile, I smiled back. I went and said goodbye to Ginny and Ron who were sat in the living room. I went to say by to Fred and George but instead they ran to me and gave me a massive twin hug
“Um guys it’s not that im not enjoying this but your *gasp* kinda *gasp* squeezing me to death” they quickly shot off me and started to laugh
“Oh sorry jess”
“we just wanted to give you a massive hug” because we are going to miss you” they said
“Aww guys that’s sweet” they started to blush “DW im sure you will see me soon come visit me?” I asked
“Well of course we will” George said a bit too excited
“Ohh jess before you go” molly said it looked like she had an idea “you like quittage don't you?”
“Molly I don't like quittage I LOVE it” she chuckled
“Well we have a spare ticket to the world cup next week would you like to join us”
“Omg I would love you thank you sooo much” I slightly screamed my hair went slightly blue (excited)
“but you will have to get permission from Remus I will Owl him about it and you will need to sleep round here the night before because we will need to get up very early” “okay molly I will see you then Goodbye” I waved as I skipped out of the house. I started to run across the field past the stream and up the hill then ran into Remus’s with a massive grin and electric blue hair it was the same colour as my shorts.
“Someone’s looking happy why is this?”
“Well uncle Remus I’ve just been invited to go to the quittage WORLD CUP with the Weasley’s!!” I exclaimed “don’t worry molly Weasley is going to Owl you all the details”
“Okay well why don't you go put your things upstairs while I make lunch?”
“Kaaaaaaaaaay”
